Now getting into an artist that I've talked about before, which is Luis R. Conriquez, as far as my coverage of him back in January, when I talked about his track with Paisal Pluma titled Bandita.
With that being said, we are back again because not only have I covered Bandita, I also covered Presidante back in November last year.
And then, of course, when he put out, C. No, Kira's No, with Nathan Viga.
But he is back again as far as being on the Mexico specific charts when it comes to him having the 43rd most played track in Mexico with the track titled Mel DuCado.
Hopefully I'm pronouncing that right.
But as far as that specific track, Luis R. Conriquez and Tito Double P are the artists on this specific tracking.
If you didn't know, with me diving into the Latin community, I do love the background as far as the behind the scenes and the market.
strategies to get this track scene to the masses because if you don't know when it comes to louise he broke
out in 2020 with this track l booho hopefully i said that right it was over a billion streams
as far as it rising on spotify and in general when it comes to when it comes to carido's tombados is a lot
of trap and hip-hop elements that he blends in the in the midst of his musical creation to the point where
I'm always intrigued by these specific artists music, whether it's Louise, whether it's
Nathan, whether it's Tito, Paiso.
It's a lot of different artists.
Forza Regina, there's a lot of different artists who implement a lot of trap elements
to the point where you can kind of see how the internet has allowed a lot of artists overseas
to have genreless music to the point where these genres, genre blending,
songs that are coming out are more and more emphatic to the point where we're seeing it more often
as when it comes to the music label that louise put this track uh male du du kato under it was
cartel music if you don't know about cartel music which is the label that louise is under
basically it's this music label is focused on integrating solutions for independent professional
creators and of course they help out with marketing strategies and things that nature but
but they do not focus on one particular genre,
as they also focus on rock, pop,
and a lot of other genres as far as electronic.
But of course, Caritos Tumbados,
as we've seen with Luis,
releasing the 43rd most played track in Mexico currently,
which is Mel Ducato.
He released that under Cartel Records.
So they're out of Malaysia,
and if you didn't know,
the hip-hop and R&B record label founded in 2005
by rapper and entrepreneur Joe Flizo.
That's kind of a fire name.
I ain't going to lie to you.
Flizo is a nice name to have as a rapper.
Now, if anybody's out there wanting to be little Flizo,
let's just say that name has not been taken,
but it sounds phenomenal.
Now, all jokes aside,
when it comes to Cartel Music Group,
they're not like other music labels
as this is regionally focused
and caters to the Malaysia music scene.
And that's more of a specific genre focus as far as cartel records.
But when it comes to Cartel Music Group, which is still under Cartel, they also have a broader appeal when it comes to different genres.
To the point where in October 2024, it was reported, we don't know, take this with a grain and salt, but of course with 6'9 transitioning from English to Spanish type music, 6.9 actually was it was reported that he signed a $6 million deal with cartel.
music described as a Spanish language deal.
So it's always great to be bilingual, especially in today's economy, because you never know
when you may have to pivot.
And for 6-9, as you already know, for people for long-time listeners of the podcast, he definitely
had a pivot. I mean, at some point, when you look at the courtroom and they tell you to point
to point out who could have did that crime, 6-9, saw that one person, and he was like,
who i think it is and he got to snitching they didn't even have to bring out the McDonald's uh or the
or the pop-is they he basically started snitching like it was going out of style so anyways with that
being said he transitioned from hip-hop into you know other type of genres which led to his
um collaborative efforts with cartel music group but with that besides the point i just wanted to
uh wanted to showcase how louise ar r carriquez is back again with he had another hit that's very
prominent in the Mexico scene and this has been a pattern for him as my coverage going all the way back to
last year of May 24 you come to find out that he always keeps a hit with them and if you was wanting to
know because this wasn't his latest track Mel Du Cato came out April 17th of this year and it's the
43rd let me see it's a 43rd most played track in Mexico but as far as his latest track he has a
track titled mexicano soy that was released May 8th
2025 and that's just solely him so if you want to listen to his latest music there you have it as far as his
latest uh album that didn't come out well his latest album is from last year that was titled caritos bellicose
volume four which that came out February 29th 2024 so at that being said click my link to my bio
let me know one of my social medias what do you think about louise r carriquez and his rise
in the mexico scenes with this specific track as far as mel ducado
and at the end of the day as far as having louise and tito double p on the same record do you believe
that louise is putting up one of the better performances of the year for latin trap musicians
