Now, diving into the musical offerings from Luke Combs in the year of 2025, you come to realize there's not that many, right?
So as far as comparing his outings in 2025 to 2024, safe to say that this is more of a year to basically reap the benefits and just overall the fruits of his labor.
He's just enjoying it.
as when it comes to 2025 specifically he did he was on a track backup plan and he was also on a track
why but more importantly as of right now he gave a new single titled back in the saddle now of
course that's probably to let the masses know that not only did he run the year of 2024
putting a phenomenal sales especially with his singles as far as the way the man he sees in me
as far as fathers and son, that definitely was a very impactful album in itself.
And of course, I covered it on my podcast when that album initially came out.
The main thing I was wanting to talk about, especially with showcasing just how much of a mammoth,
Luke Combs is in the music industry, putting up a lot of impactful music,
as that his track backup plan with Bailey Zimmerman.
That is currently the 34th most played track in the world.
Not only to mention that Luke Combs himself is a two-time winner of the CMA Entertainer of the Year.
So he's already basically familiarized himself with the successes of being on top,
especially having awards given to him like CMA Entertainer of the Year.
He's put out five studio albums since 2017, the only country artists with four Diamond Certified Singles.
So when we're talking about Luke Combs, definitely the cream of the crop is the only thing he should be compared to because as of right now, when he said he's getting back in the saddle, he really doesn't have to.
At the end of the day, he's put up so much, he's put out so much phenomenon music that him even putting out a track title back in the saddle just showcases the work ethic and highlights why he's at the position he is in in the first place.
So anyways, all that glazing set to the side.
You guys.
See, that's the problem.
Let's get into the future ramifications because of the single.
Now, with backing the saddle being a standalone Luke Combs track,
which if you don't know, it's his first ever standalone track in 2025
because his last two with Y, that was with John Bellione.
And the one before that, as far as backup plan, that was with Bailey Zimmerman.
But to be fair, the one with Bailey Zimmerman is still going crazy.
Like I said, it's been.
on the charts for about 12 weeks and it's still the 34th most play track in the world.
So obviously very impactful to the masses.
And the main thing I was wanting to look at is especially since 2022 was his marketing
campaign because a lot of people look at TikTok.
But the main thing for me, I looked at Luke Holmes and his fan base and just the way
they supported him.
And of course, you know, based off my name, had to get into the analytics because we are
Hall of Fame pocket watches over here.
And then I found out physical sales, which is CD and Vinals, made up 12% of Luke Combs sales.
And they say that's unusually high for the genre.
Now, I do have a topic coming out later as far as a part of my latest episode, as far as 151.
That episode is going to have the segment of me deep diving into the music industry.
but one of the main reasons why the entire music industry is down 7.6% as far as revenue compared to the first half of the year in 2024 is because of the increase in streaming.
So you got to stay with me. It's the increase of streaming. So now if you look at Luke Holmes and he made up to 12% of his first week sales unusually high for the genre, when now you realize if the music industry is increasing in sales but a decline compared to the
first half of 2024, I wonder what side of the music industry is declining. Well, of course,
it's the physical copies. So to see Luke Combs be one of the few artists, if not the only artist,
that has more than 10%? 10% is already insane. But having 12% of your entire sales based off
of physical copies, that is a phenomenal accomplishment because usually artists,
nine times 9.999.99.99 times out of 10 is only getting at the max two to three percent in
physical copies. People do not buy anything nowadays. They would rather stream it because they're
probably saying to themselves, why would I purchase this subscription just to buy your whole
album for $12.99, for $13.99, whatever they price it. But that is why that stood out to me because
as a Hall of Fame pocket watch, I had to realize why in the world is Luke Holmes making so much
compared to other artists who outstream him by a lot, right? And it's because of his huge
fan base that will go out and physically cop his CDs and vinyl. So I would assume a lot more artists
will come out and try to do the vinyl route, which for hip-hop, it's a little harder because
if you put out a vinyl beforehand, before the music is out, don't know why it happens in our genre,
but it's just going to end up leaking.
you know and that's always been uh the case for quite some time so if they could crack down or how
they could send it to certain warehouses maybe hip hop will get more vinals before the music
releases kind of somebody somebody's probably saying oh i got the push a tea album and all that stuff
that came out after the album was out so i'm talking about before so it counts for the first
week sales is a little different so anyways um luke cones is going to continue to put up huge
numbers on the charts. His fan base is one of the most supportive fan bases I've seen in quite some
time, especially diving deep into my pocket watcher badge bag, definitely realizing that 12% of his
sales come from physical copies, which is CD and Vinals. Huge discreferency compared to the rest
of the artists in the music industry. So whatever Luke Combs is doing, he definitely needs to keep
doing that because the connection he has with his fan base is second to none. So,
With that being said, back in the saddle, the single that's out now in all DSPs is a major comeback for Luke Combs.
So with that, click my link to your in my bio.
Let me know on one of my social medias.
What do you think of Luke Combs' latest single back in the saddle?
And then, of course, if you're one of the supporters of Luke Combs who physically, who buys physical copies,
what is the main reason that you buy physical copies of Luke Holmes' music?
