Today we're getting into the one and only Luke Combs.
Now, if you don't know, of course, I've covered Luke Combs plenty of times in the past.
And as far as last year being considered, I covered him July 26, 2024,
when him and Post Malone put out the track guide for that.
I also covered Luke Holmes in June 28, 2024.
Oh, no, no, I covered the Post Malone track, July 26,
which Post Malone Luke Combs got for that.
I cover Luke Holmes again June 28th,
2024 when he put out 8 and 11 Oklahoma.
And of course, I covered him for the first time ever,
June 7th, 2024, when he put out the track,
the man he sees in me.
So with me covering the musicians that,
no pun intended, well, actually,
pun intended, impact the masses,
I like to get into the certain musicians
that have the longevity as far as not only on the charts,
but also just in people's hearts as far as impact-wise.
because you can say what you want about first week sales you can say what you want about overall sales
longevity and this year and last year and the year after paying attention to that will let you know
what people are going to refer to five to six years from now somebody's going to be like remember
when chapel rowan put out or remember when Sabrina carpenter put out short and sweet these type of
monumental numbers from these particular artists is going to be remembered and well most likely
stand the test of time.
Now, with that being said, of course, let's get into Luke Combs.
So with Luke Combs, there's this unreleased track titled Wish Upon a Whiskey.
I ain't going to lie to you, these country artists in whiskey go together like peanut butter and jelly.
I ain't heard so much whiskey talk from any other genre.
And I listen to hip-hop.
They talk about Don Julio.
They talk about what's the other one?
I don't know the other ones.
But basically, the whiskey talk and country is one of the things that's very prominent.
And I'm not mad at it because really that covers a lot of different brands.
I mean, if you say an actual brand, now you're doing promotion.
If you say whiskey, I think that's a more interesting way to go about it because it's more of a general label that you're not giving any actual brand an ad in your monumental platinum level song.
So anyway, it's just a minor observation.
So that being said, he basically performed this track in his Australia tour, which if you go to his Instagram, he was in Sydney, Australia, and he played one of his unreleased track, Wish Upon a Whiskey.
So some of the key lyrics are, I gave up on a shooting star.
I do the only thing that don't make me feel empty slash pull that bottle out, pull that bottle out and wish upon a whiskey.
So with that being said, of course, he is.
definitely talking a lot of heartbreak, talking a lot of a coping mechanism, because if you don't know, you know, don't do drugs, kids.
Some people turn to the bottle, which is why they say the whole bottom of the bottom, bottom of the bottle.
Bottom of the bottom. That sound like a diddy song anyway. Let me chew. That's crazy.
All right, so bottom of the bottle is like one of the cliche phrases whenever you're trying to find yourself, and they use like certain substances as a coping mechanism, which you should.
didn't do you know you should just maybe talk to somebody close to you friends family you know
mean therapy things of that nature but this is not soapbox so i'm gonna get off of it so with that being
said wish upon a whiskey is unreleased track and expected to be a part of combs upcoming album because
they believe that him performing this during the sydney uh well just during his overall 2025 tour
while he's in Sydney Australia means that he may give us a new project because if you don't know and if you
a Luke Combs fan. You probably already know that he's finishing up his Australia and New Zealand tour with a lot more unreleased tracks expected to be shared before the album's released.
So with that being said, people are really anticipating a new project because he's getting off tour.
So now that means he has more time to do more promotional marketing strategies as far as appearing in maybe interviews, certain festivals, things of that nature, instead of just completely going on a tour.
because if you don't know,
tours more of a grind physically than any other portion of your career as an artist.
Because you're going from date to date that's already set all type,
especially at this level,
all type of pre-production and flights and hotels,
all that has already been arranged by your assistant,
hopefully.
And your whole entire team has already been paid for for that as far as a pre-production team.
So all this money has already been paid out as far as the overhead.
So now you're just constantly hitting those dates as far as to recoup,
to get R-O-I as far as recouping your overall investment into the tour.
So now that he's about to finish up his tour,
people are looking forward to his next album release whenever that comes out.
If you actually go to Luke Holmes profile, he is, let me see,
because I saw he wasn't, he's not currently on the charts,
but usually he is on the charge, especially with the post-malone track,
the last track I covered, that definitely was on the charts.
But he did put out an album title Fathers and Sons,
and that was back in June 14.
13 2024 and that was under Sony okay so Luke Holmes is under Sony if you don't know
currently they have 19% of the entire 100% as far as the music market sure so
Luke Holmes would definitely help that number out I think he's a phenomenal
artist I've listened to his music yes I actually listen to all these other genres
you know as far as trying to just get a sense of what I enjoy as far as what
as far as from particular artists I ain't a lot to you as far as in the country
lane I really like Zach Bryan and
I really like Morgan Wallen.
I feel like those two artists I vibe with the most
as far as the whole whiskey talking things of that nature,
you realize once you start listening to more genres,
we're all the same.
We're all talking about the same thing as far as heartbreak.
They're just working in there a little different.
Of course, sonically, it's way different,
especially the accent, the way the country artists sound.
But, you know, when they listen to hip-hop artists,
you know, I'm pretty sure they'd probably be saying the same thing.
Actually, they do say the same thing.
In the comment section, they're always saying,
when the English version coming down,
The whole time, I'm seeing him like, dang, I understand them.
Maybe I'm tripping.
So anyways, side tangent, set to the side.
With that being said, click my link, share my bio.
Let me know in one of my social media is.
What do you think about Luke Holmes' unreleased track titled Wish Upon a Whiskey?
And do you think he's going to put out a new project whenever he finishes his Australia and New Zealand tour?
