Now, of course, getting into the artist under Island Records slash Universal Music Group, which, like I always say, they're the big dogs in the music industry currently having a whopping 60% of the entire music market share.
So that being said, getting into the artist Marina and essentially her album and her single, right?
trying to figure out how to pronounce that i think is contissimo contissimo hopefully i'm saying that right but
it's the ep right you have the self-titled track off of the ep contissimo you have cupis girl and then you
have butterfly so 11 minutes almost 12 minutes of an offering as far as an ep and is leading up to a
project titled princess of power that's set to release june 6th 2025 and
I don't know about y'all.
As far as album covers go, I think she did a phenomenal job.
You know, of course, she's showcasing just the multiple assets as far as the ribbons being used, right?
The font of persistence of power on the album cover, right?
And that's probably the only thing that impresses me the most about this album cover, right?
So essentially, getting into the EP, right?
It's under Island Records Universal Music Group, this EP Contissimo was produced by herself, Marina, and David Kostin.
Now, the genre of this particular artist is, well, falls under electro pop.
But we all know in today's age of making music, there's a lot of genre blending going on.
But for the most part, it's a lot of electric pop going on.
in the
Cuntissimo title, which combines
Cunt plus
primo,
it's basically
a very provocative
title because it's
invoked a lot of
emotions as far as being polarizing
to the masses. They've came out
and said that they
feel
offended. Everybody's
offended nowadays. But on
the flip side marina herself came out to describe the title as a metal finger to conformity
and a statement about owning power in reclaiming the language and she said this all she said this all
in rolling stone back in well this month of this year so when i'm looking at the track right
and seeing where it's blowing up on the specific charts because like i said she's under the
genre of electro pop.
So a lot of the charts fall under that as hot dance slash electric songs charts.
She debuted 22nd.
And it was Marina's highest since disconnect that went number 30 first on those chart, on that
specific chart back in 2017.
Also, when it comes to global 200, she had an entry at 140.
45 so when it comes to the masses people are gravitating towards marina's music and the main thing you need to know is that you if you're looking to get into an electric pop musician especially who's commercialized being under universal music group marina would probably be your best bet currently now a lot of the dick ticot dance challenges helped out a lot with the popularity as it caused a 12% spike in marina
Reno, Spotify streams.
And that brings me back to my ultimate point.
If you're not using TikTok as a tool to get your music to the masses, just know,
nobody's going to take you serious as a mainstream musician.
Because if you're trying to be, like, it's different than just trying to put out music.
If you're trying to be a mainstream musician and you're not using TikTok as a tool for engagement,
then you're losing.
So that being said, Marina is doing phenomenal on the electronic slash hot dance charts specifically.
Now, when it comes to overall, she's not the highest as like I said, Billboard 200.
She placed at 145.
But in the UK, which is very interesting because even a podcast, notorious mass effect,
charted and we was the second highest leisure podcast in the UK.
Now, ain't that crazy as far as impacting the.
amasses digitally and being recognized for it but anyways back to marina right this is not about me
you know it's not about me the uk charts uh she does phenomenal on as she debuted at number 62nd
as far as the singles uk charts and then of course the dance chart she was number 15 so it seems like
as far as falling under the electro pop genre she definitely does a phenomenal job on representing that
commercially as she's charted in those specific charts and she's charted
worldwide. So with her album Princess of Power set to come out June 6, click my link to
my bio and let me know on one of my social media's what do you think about Marino's EP
title contissimo and at the end of the day are you offended by the title and if you're not
what is your favorite track from the EP?
