Starting point is 00:00:03 Now getting into Meek Mill, one of the biggest things you need to know is that this man still is a respectable rapper, I would say. So when it comes to all that the disrespect being thrown this man's way as far as allegations being made in lawsuits from producers who was done wrong or felt like they've been done wrong by Diddy? Getting in heated exchanges as far as Meek Mill with media hip-hop heads such as, academics, and then rolling all of that out into his EP heathenism, I think it's a very specific marketing rollout that I just do not agree with. Because one of the biggest things that I think is just putting him in the limelight that he's in right now is him currently talking tough and threatening. academics to the point where it's taking all of the spotlight off of the actual music.

Starting point is 00:01:10 If you think that these threats towards DJ academics is going to culminate into streams, it's just not going to. A lot of people have beef with academics and not a lot of people have found the financial benefits when it came to music-wise. Like, of course, attention-wise, you're going to get it. But as far as music streams, which I think is what you want. I mean, you're promoting this EP like it's the last EP you ever going to put out. I think the whole marketing strategy is wrong.

Starting point is 00:01:41 I think the biggest thing you should have went with is having people focus on the fact that the allegations are not true and then putting out your EP along with that tweet. So you should have said the allegations aren't true and you should have deal with 50 cent does all the time. just tag at the end EP heathism out now with the link that's literally all you all you had to do this long drawn-out explanation of going to academics talking about you're going to threaten him you're going to go you know you need his address in new jersey um the governor calling you to chill out because you're doing too much like all of that is for a reason and plus your marketing team needs to be fired because the first track of this is came from the bottom and even though i don't care what other people's sexual preferences that's just ridiculous like straight up ludicrous the way that you

Starting point is 00:02:42 have your first track on your EP after all these allegations titled came from the bottom I would not be surprised if it was literally changed to drum up more marketing promo because of the allegations like they're calling him freak mill they're talking about all the things look even in the comments his comment section they're saying freaky meki like what what philadelphia gangster do you know is played like this me as a law-abiding citizen i would never go at somebody like that because i'm not a gangster i'm not trying to get into elaine i'm not trying to threaten or test your gangsterism right because that would end up only two ways so with that being said i like to focus on music so now that there's music attached with the whole debauchery that you call a rollout i think i now can speak on it because it's

Starting point is 00:03:36 music related so as far as the music obviously i'm gonna get around to it because i do like when meek mill wraps but i'm not going to lie to you with meek mill and rick ross put out a whole album and did a whole promo run i didn't even listen to the project i don't know why i just didn't feel like listening to it i just felt like it just didn't move the needle enough for me to actually give it a listen but for the meek mill fans out there they probably listen to it um i don't know if they like they're not i ain't really see too much uh commotion as far as coming from it but the biggest thing right now is that ep heathenism is out now and it features future i would say favio foreign but it features future so if you want to just go for a big feature he has future on this ep

Starting point is 00:04:20 and it's still because meek mill is respected i think i mean even though somebody made an AI art of him with the McDonald's fries in the lap and then there was the actual picture alongside it I mean you know you're going viral for the wrong things when the fries in the lap is being used in AR art to make whole other generations
