Starting point is 00:00:03 Look, Mr. Combs informed Mr. Jones that he had engaged in sexual intercourse with rapper. Five, that's redacted. Look, five, he's a Philadelphia rapper who dated Nicky Minnaz. Now, ladies and gentlemen, let me tell you something. Now, you got to love covering hip-hop and definitely being appealing to the masses when it comes to covering hip-hop. Because then you get to just shine a light and just extrapolate some of the actual. ideology when it comes to hip hop right now of course this is not going to be no lecture but let me just let you all in on something there's a lot of things that's wrong with hip hop and one of the things
Starting point is 00:00:48 that's being highlighted is not even close to the other wrongdoings and the thing that hip hop perpetuates the most obviously i'm gonna sound like a hypocrite because i love listening to hip hop but i would be ignorant to not point it out because if we're not talking about violence and crime being a bad thing i mean everybody saying free young thug which you know hey allegedly he may be innocent but it's not looking too good right then that's just the top example there's so many others i could get but let's just stick with the topic at hand misogyny materialism i mean even talking about our own talking about killing spinning a block came in and a sum but he left on a stretcher you know spent spin the block twice like there ain't nowhere to park the glorification of drug use literally rip the juice
Starting point is 00:01:47 world whole video of him talking about how future was the reason he was on drugs and niki manage said herself that future doesn't even use the drugs that he's rapping about so once again rip the and here we are talking about somebody's sexual preference. Now, if I was mistaken, I thought the year was 2024 where this type of stuff was not tolerated. Obviously, me personally, I'm the type of guy to let people enjoy what they want. Obviously, I say all the time that I'm a straight male, but it's one of those things that I say because I don't want nobody to think any other way. But if they do think of any other way, that is okay because it just wouldn't be true because I've already said it, right? But I would not go so as far to say that these people who are gay are beneath people who aren't gay, right?
Starting point is 00:02:50 Because when you get into that type of rhetoric, it's very belittling to people who have a certain preference. that's not yours and it's not even a crime like is it a crime to like the same sex as you once again i've said i'm a straight male but for others is it a crime for them to like people who are the same sex as them right so i find it beyond interesting that out of all the things that hip-hop perpetuates when it comes to violence and crime drug usage and misogyny materialism uh negative um rhetoric towards the black community talking about killing them 24-7 i mean just look at the whole chicago and florida scene the thing we focus on the most as black people is somebody being gay not the illegal activity that's going on with the use of well no with the attempt of taking people
Starting point is 00:03:50 off the planet forget all that i mean who hasn't bumped take hey right i was he said like I did the race or I'm the race or whatever he said forget the case I was trying to I was trying to do the race or something like that I don't know he was something crazy fast forward and he's doing life but everybody's still bump and take hey there's just no humanity when it comes to that side of things but let's just focus on the sexual preference of other people so anyways of course we're getting into meek meal as a lot of people are stuck on the fact that he is facing allegations of him being gay and just involving himself in sexual intimate moments with Diddy allegedly?
Starting point is 00:04:39 Because of course, this is the clip that I just played at the beginning of the segment that had the whole Twitter in a frenzy. I mean, you would have thought Meek Mill was just the worst person on the planet the way they was coming at him for his sexual preference. at this point i think mc mill just has the worst PR team possible because he tried to spend this and uses his press for his new album which well not album his new EP that obviously i'm going to promote because i like to focus on music and since he released music alongside this notice i didn't even cover this before that he has a whole EP out now and i'm not going to lie to you
Starting point is 00:05:22 his PR team needs to be fired why is the first track off his EP title came from the bottom once again i don't personally care but if you're a PR marketing strategist this is not it came from the bottom as the first track on your EP coming off the allegations of you having sexual activity allegedly with diddy a whole lawsuit that you can literally look up there's a whole like process of looking up a lawsuit getting into documents you have to like pay for it or something like that anyways it's out there on the internet right filed by diddy's producer well i don't even know if it did he produce it was a producer rodney jones who put out the whole lawsuit and basically redacted details but then basically gave a whole detailed description of the person he redacted like what
Starting point is 00:06:14 type of like where in society are we where we say we're going to take something out and then specifically give a detail of what we just took out like isn't that contradictory to what the previous redacted is for anyways um meek mill of course went back and forth with DJ academics who I have no problem saying is one of my biggest, uh, inspirations when it comes to covering hip hop just because I like the passion and the info that he comes with because if there's one thing about DJ academics, you can't say is that he's just straight up lying. It's a lot of things that you can call this man and academics may, you know, the shoe may fit his foot, which is a weird, but anyways, I get what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:07:01 I think academics has never said something. something it wasn't able to back it up so the way that meek mill came at him i mean i think there was one where if i can find it i think academics let me see if i can find it right quick like because you know these rappers like to play dumb and then when uh i'm not going to call him a journalist but when academics actually gave him the instructions to find where um he was getting his information from meek mail just basically did not care like this man literally gave him the whole uh google maps to to find the information where he got it from and meek mill still didn't care like they was tween back and forth meek mills honestly crashing out if if you run it if you want to call it that oh and also
Starting point is 00:07:55 analytic dreams video for the video along with the audio because i'm not going to stay on this too long but i do have to point this out because this is actually incredible because not only was diddy, what was academics going at diddy, which in itself is, you know, that's tough. Because at this point, like, you're going to be going against somebody who's very powerful and he's definitely going to come after you in a certain way that you probably wouldn't expect. Let me just put it like that. So, anyways, it seemed like I can't find a tweet because he literally gave him the exact coordinates. Because honestly, Meek Mill deleted a lot of tweets. so it's kind of hard to find it because it says like a lot of posts are unavailable and I could oh here we go okay
Starting point is 00:08:42 gave him the Google Maps to where he found information meek mill because of course you know he's just still playing dumb like he doesn't know where he got this he said academics no let me see all right he said and somebody send me the actual lawsuit these blogs making y'all stupid day for day Super ironic coming from meek Mill. So what the academics do? Obviously give him the Google translate to how to look up the information that he found. He basically said, go to page 13. Your name is redacted, but you're explained as the Philadelphia rapper who dated Nikki Minaj.
Starting point is 00:09:23 And he gave him the link. Goodness, see. That's why you got to leave bloggers alone. Well, the bloggers who actually tell the truth, you got to leave alone. Fataji K. You know what I mean? That's a whole number. other scenario. But anyways, at this juncture, we just got to get into how academics is
Starting point is 00:09:38 really roasting Meek Mill at this point. Like I try to call it as I see it. And if he wasn't roasting him, I would say he wasn't. But obviously Meek Mill talking about some, I have the right to say I ain't gay and I'll trash anybody that play with my manhood. You know what I mean? But to academics, he's talking about he's going to crash out. I mean, if you go to this man's tweets, let me see if I can find this. This man's. This man's said uh okay so he's promoting his EP which he should be doing obviously he's talking about heathenism which we're going to get to in a second but i just want to cover this first he said the governor called me and checked me i took it down after i explained to him this the guy that powered the biggest
Starting point is 00:10:25 rap beats that killed some of my friends playing undercover and then he linked his music the world we live in i ain't gonna lie to you but anyways it don't even stop there uh let me see there's another part the the tweet from meek mill that was most concerning should be coming up soon i like how he's promoting his EP he definitely needs to keep doing that because this this is a whole rollout if you ask me ain't anybody corkins let's see i'm trying to find it also anna leg dreams video on spotify to see the video along with the audio okay i can't find that ain't going through all that let me try to go through academics place i know this man responded okay academics talking about boxing meek mill which is
Starting point is 00:11:25 actually insane um oh he deleted his tweets that's what it was okay yeah so okay so basically the whole meekmill versus uh academics oh and andrew tate just jumped into the mix out of nowhere he said so p did he was having sex with meek mill just out of nowhere like if clout chaser was a thing here it is right here like wasn't andrew tate like once the most searched man amongst the even over the president at one point and now he's just tweeting out salacious stuff trying to get reactions from meek mill but anyways um oh here we go this is not the one i was talking about but basically this is him talking about academics but the thing that was most concerning was when he said uh i'll die over it when talking about um taking down academics because of his
Starting point is 00:12:13 influence on his career or whatever but basically i think that's the most uh intriguing aspect of it Because right then and there, you have given the police all they need to make arrest for threatening a public figure, which obviously in the court of law, you know, he won't be like going to jail or anything because I don't think he's on probation anymore. But the way he's talking to academics, the police is definitely watching. If you think the police isn't watching, it's gotten to the point where the police are probably surveying every tweet, stream message from meek mail and academics because this has gotten to. to that point of them, no, no, Meek Mill continuously threatening to get academics addressed, which academics have said himself that he has and pulling up and basically trying to shoot a music video, which if you know hip hop, you know what that's called for. I'm not no, well, actually, I am a snitch because I'm a law-abiding citizen, you know,
Starting point is 00:13:09 it's one thing to be gonna and act like you're gonna go along with it. But for me, I'm gonna let you know from the jump. So if you do anything, hey, I'm a point, I don't even think I have enough fingers to point. you out to the police you know what i'm saying but anyways um now we're going to get to the actual music side of things i just wanted to you see how i also talked about his EP um during the academics versus meek meal i just wanted to basically touch base on the whole beef because i could care less on what somebody's sexual preference is but for the whole hip-hop community who is basically very um pick and choosy when the
Starting point is 00:13:49 comes to certain validity of topics right it reminds me of the whole drake thing when he said free tory lanes but the whole um israel israel and um was a pakistan pakistan situation he doesn't want to talk about that but he'll talk about free tory lanes and free young thug all day long so it's a whole pick and choosy type situation obviously these are celebrity figures they're not people you should look up to morally, obviously, because we don't know the behind closed doors. But somebody has to point this out. Somebody has to say it in a concise way. So that's why I made this segment, just the detail, not the whole overview of meek mail versus academics, but just try to give y'all a little overview of why this is literally trending for like
Starting point is 00:14:34 two, three days straight. So at the end of the day, we're going to get into the EP talk. And for meek mill the only advice i could give him is the first uh first track off of this ep came from the bottom i ain't gonna lie my brother your marketing team just fire him all so anyways click my link tree in my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about meek mill versus academics what do you think about meek mill and his uh in the allegations being made toward him and as far as whose side you're on are you on dj academic side or meek mail.
