Starting point is 00:00:03 Now, if you've been a long-time fan of Megan the Stallion, you probably already know this, but Megan the Stallion has expressed multiple times that she has a love for anime. And because of her status and hip-hop, because of the music-making ability that she possesses, some would say that information will take them by surprise. because anime and hip hop does not usually come across too often as far as collaboration. But I love how Megan is telling being true to herself just completely gives a lot of insight into her anime prefaces. Why am I even talking about this is simply because of Otaku Hot Girl is track 7 off of her new album, Megan, that's out now on all DSPs. some of the biggest
Starting point is 00:01:02 animas that Megan the Stallion loves to read as far as what she gets into is My Hero Academia. Megan says she enjoys how it's set in the world where superpowers where people with
Starting point is 00:01:20 superpowers attend a prestigious hero Academy. She also said Attack on Titan is one of her favorite anime's bleach naroto uh black butler she says she's currently watching as far as it being a dark fantasy that follows a demon butler serving a young earl in victoria victorian england and that she enjoys black clover so you know i'm not an anime head of course well not of course but you know
Starting point is 00:01:55 obviously i'm not an anime head because i don't know what in the world these shows are about but I am a superhero person so I can relate to the fact of you enjoying something that may be seen as nerdy or more of in the yeah more of in like the geek territory which you know teach his own right so for her it's just her love for anime and showcasing that and a lot of social media a post about her love for anime a lot of interviews about her love for anime and then the music it's now apparent that one of her best songs off of her album as far as public perception is based off of anime so one of the things about um otaku hot girl is that it's the uj itadori i think that's like one of the characters she was uh drawing inspiration from
Starting point is 00:02:54 And she basically says fighting demons in my head like I'm Itadori. Now, what does that mean? I have no idea. But I don't get into anime. So hopefully y'all can make sense of that. But the whole Jiu, bro, Jiu Su Kaisen? Yo, anime fans going to kill me. I don't know what this is.
Starting point is 00:03:20 Jiu Su Kaysen sample was cleared for this track. making it one of the more pivotal hip hop tracks simply for the fact that once again hip hop and anime don't cross over too often because of the cool factor of hip hop and anime is seen as nerdy and more of a geek type realm which to be on uh to be honest rdc world made watching anime cooler and i know a lot of people have trouble saying that because hey who wants to give credit to a black man right but hey rdc is one of the more pivotal inspirations when it comes to people openly expressing their love for anime and i think that needs to be stated more often because a lot of people just think it came out of nowhere as far as anime being cooler or more uh respected in the cool our audience i'm
Starting point is 00:04:17 saying cool with quotation marks you can't see my fingers because it's audio broadcast but anyways let's keep on so um otaku hot girl you know having the juju su kizen sample having bars related to uji e tadori is very apparent that she has a pristine love for anime and then to throw it back even further her hit song savage she rapped about being a savage like the character Majin Boo from Dragon Ball Z. So she has references for days when it talks about, when she's talking about anime. And it reminds me of when Juice World used to have anime references,
Starting point is 00:05:04 because you can actually tell that he was into these things. Like, it wasn't like, no, oh, I'm just saying it just to get into this crowd. Like, no, I actually, and one of them, you know what I'm saying? Like, I actually put in just as much time as an anime lover. And I'm going to throw out references to show that because it, when you are a natural fan of something the genuine verses of that show probably come out as far as
Starting point is 00:05:30 think of your favorite pastime show you could probably think of a hidden gym in that show that you could rap about to let people know like oh she's really in tune so that's basically what she's doing um also hey for the let's just say for the um cosplay lovers out there
Starting point is 00:05:49 Megan the Stallion has cosplayed as a plethora of anime characters, including Todoroki, is that you say it, from My Hero Academia and Yuriuchi. What? Yoriuchi Shihuni, bro, what is he? I swear. I feel like I'd be completely ignorant right now because I don't know these pronunciations. I think that's your Yerucci Shihui That's not how you
Starting point is 00:06:24 That's probably not how you say I'm sorry, hey, I don't know Somebody from Bleach Man Hopefully you get what I was trying to say But she so she dressed as TotoRoki I think I got that right
Starting point is 00:06:35 From My Hero Academia And then the other one I completely Butcher but it's a character from Bleach And then Yeah so that just showcases How many times she's flipped The anime inspiration in public that just shows how many times she's shown her love for anime to the public i mean
Starting point is 00:06:56 whether it's music whether it's cosplay whether it's being asked questions and interviews she always has overt love for the anime that she's into and that's basically it so yeah click my click my link to my bio let me know in one of my social medias how did you feel about me butchering and every single anime main character and with that being said do you think this track from Megan the Stallion otaku hot girl is fire or trash
