First, I want to start off by saying that at the end of the day, quality does not always mean that you're going to sell.
And with that being said, I do believe that when Megan and Cardi came together for WAP, it was definitely one of the most impactful rap songs of all time, right?
debuted at number one on the Hot 100
with all type of records
broken and I believe
it is actually
this is probably a fact
is eligible for Diamond
certification by RIAA
the reason I even bring that up
or mention that because we're going to get into this new
track that Megan just put out but
WAP
compared
to any other rap song
would just blow it out of the water
like unless you're talking about the goat of course and then you know that's a whole different
discussion but when they eventually came together once more to put out bongos the type of flop
that bongos put up was very unexpected like i even if it did half of what wap did it would
have been a success but to completely flop in a way that it's not even on the top 50 as far as billboard
charts currently and it came out like three to four weeks ago like it's a very recent song so for this to come
out titled out alpha the alpha it's very interesting right after not right after but like in such
short notice after boncos but i bring all that up to say this i believe that the only reason this track
came out is because it's attached to the soundtrack of a movie, right? And I would say the name,
but this is a PG podcast, so we're just going to call it the musical, right? That's what happens
when you put an expeditive in your literal title. Obviously, they must not be marketing the kids
because what is this? So anyways, the song Out Alpha the Alpha is a Megan the Stallion
track for the musical movie soundtrack. And it's a song, it's a song.
It's the perspective of Megan's movie character, Gloria Masters,
who assembles an all-woman militia.
Is how you said it?
Militia?
Militia.
That's probably a way you pronounce it down completely messing up.
I swear I'm in college.
I swear.
But anyway, hey, hey, forget it, I guess.
Dismantle the patriarchy.
So, of course, you know, the subject matter is pretty on point.
because Megan the Stallion is a phenomenal rapper.
Let's not get that twisted.
Like sales high or low, Megan the Stallion is consistently a phenomenal rapper,
which I respect her for because we have rappers out here, you know,
rapping about certain things that's just not lyrically and captivating for me personally.
So with Megan Estallion, I always love listening to her rap,
and it's always a treat when she gives us a lyrical performance like she did on this track.
and it's not even that she's popped up a lot of different TV shows such as uh season seven of
big mouth um that's basically it i don't know i'm tripping i'm totally tripping because i'm a marvel head
uh she showed up on she hoke which i contrary to most people i enjoyed like i thought that was
very fitting for the character of she hoke but people hated on that and i don't know why but um yeah i
thought that was fitting. And so
Megan the Stallion, I don't know.
I mean, people say she's under
Rock Nation as far as management,
trying to get out of her deal with
I forget what it's 14-01.
I forget what they're called. I think it's
Carl Crawford, I believe she's trying to
get out from under. But anyways, that's
besides the point. Rock Nation is managing
her, and now you can definitely tell
how
well they are managing her as
to be on all these different
TV and movie show appearances. It's
very interesting because Megan the Stallion is a star in herself.
So now that she has star-like management, granted, Rock Nation did kind of just try to pull her away
allegedly from Carl Crawford.
It's very interesting to see that unfold.
But at the end of day, you know, Megan Estallion is still a phenomenal rapper.
And I don't think it's really a testament to her the way that Bongo's performed.
I think it's really more on Cardi B.
And basically the way that Cardi B is working,
her album rollout is very interesting because at this point it seems to not be
non-existent because of the flop of not only bongos but the track hot expedive with
little dirk and Kanye West both of those tracks high-profile artist attached to her name
both of them flop the um what do they say in math class the consistent the the consistent
variable is Cardi B so I don't really think it's
more of a testament to Megan Nostalia and I just had to bring that up because her name is not
attached to a lot of music and this year so when she does put out music I'm definitely tuning in
and for this track out alpha to alpha I thought it was pretty solid especially to be a part of a
movie soundtrack so with that being said click my link to my bio let me know in one of my social
media is what do you think about Megan the Sallion's new single out alpha the alpha
for the musical soundtrack that's currently in select theaters and will premiere nationwide on October 20th.
And will you be giving this track a listen?
