A lot of people believe that Megan the Stallion's year-long battle,
or years-long battle, was only with Daystar Peterson, aka Toy Lanes.
But what they do not know is that one of the biggest behind-the-scenes beefs that we've seen in the music industry for quite some time now,
has been Megynastallion versus 1501 certified entertainment.
And the reason why this is such a huge dispute is simply for the fact
that the person over 1501 certified entertainment,
Carl Crawford, has a lot of different ties
in the music industry, making it very difficult
for making the stallion to navigate when it comes to releasing,
marketing, and collaborating with certain musicians.
With that being said, that means she's beefing
with some pretty powerful people.
Put Tory Lay's to the side,
1501 certified entertainment themselves have made
Megan's life very difficult to navigate musically.
So now with this,
with the update in this case,
involving an amicable parting of ways
between Megan the Stallion and 1501,
we've came to a conclusion finally.
And the way that this conclusion has been settled
after years of battling,
back and forth with her own label they have finally agreed to part ways and not talk about it so
there's an NDA side signed on both sides it seems like because Megan the Stallion hasn't talked
about it and 1501 put out a statement which if you look at analytic dreams video on Spotify you will
see the video version along with the audio but basically 1501 and uh certified entertainment put out
on their Instagram page that quote,
Megan Lee Stallion and 1501 certified entertainment
are pleased to announce that they have mutually reached
a confidential settlement to resolve their legal differences.
As part of the agreement, as part of the arrangement,
both parties have agreed to amicably part ways,
I can't talk, both Megan and 1501
are pleased to put this matter behind them and move
forward with the next chapter of their respective business.
1501's president, Carl Crawford, said, quote,
All of us at 1501 wish Megan their very best in her life and career.
Well put by 1501 entertainment, basically not telling us how much royalties or excessive charges
was placed on Megan the Stallion, you know, because technically 1501 was suing for over
one million in damages.
No, no, no,
Megyn the Stallion filed a complaint
seeking over one million in damages.
So 1501, obviously
wasn't wishing her
the very best in her life and career
because they was trying to ruin it.
And Megynastalian started to run up
the numbers and realized that they
costing her millions of dollars. So with that
being said, with this statement, it's
very interesting and nobody even
talked about the actual
contractual
numbers of this.
agreement is basically like oh we came to agreement and now we're going to let her go like what
happened like i want to know what happened as a certified researcher of hip hop i got to know what
happened like did some shug knight type of pill happen where they met one of megan's agents and they
was like hey you're gonna make her sign this whether you like it or not like uh shug knight did
easy e or was it just um or was it the other way around did j z pop up because if you don't know
Rock Nation, which is under
Jay-Z,
was trying to sign
Megan the Stallion. But Megan the Stallion claimed that the deal was
below industry standards when it came to 15-01
certified entertainment, which is why she was trying to go to Rock Nation
and she went to court to do this, to get
her unfair contract
settled or disputed or whatever.
So anyways,
Basically, she said that, oh, no, 15-01 came out and said that she's not meeting contractual obligations because she's now releasing music.
Like, she put out a track called like something for the hotties.
I think it was like a whole project.
And 15-0-1 was like, nah, we need some of that because you ain't fulfill your contract obligation.
So now we need all of that.
Like, we're talking about millions of dollars that 15-0-1 is coming after.
So for this settlement, it's confidential for a reason, right?
millions of dollars out in the wind, both parties expressed some dissatisfaction with what they
was receiving. So now, for them to come to an agreement, I got to know what happened.
Y'all not going to do this for years. Come to agreement, and I'm not going to know which side is right.
Like, at the end of day, I feel like this is the toy lanes making the stallion situation all over again.
They made a huge deal, went to court, they came to a conclusion, and I still don't know what
happen. Like literally, if you ever watched the Tory lanes, or not watch, but heard, read about
the Tory lanes and making the stallion trial, they said the exact same thing. They were saying
before they went to court. Like, I thought I was going to get some details like, oh, okay, he shot
me right here. That's why this and this. Like, basically it was the same exact details we
was getting before the case, and then they came to the conclusion, right? The same things we
was hearing with 1501 saying that Megan hasn't fulfilled her contract obligations. Megan the
Stallion saying that, oh, her contract with 1501 was below industry standards so that it should
be disputed.
So I'm like, now it's like, now that they came to agreement, I was like, who's right?
Like, I don't know which side is right in this whole equation.
What seems to be a common factor when it comes to Megan the Stallion and problems that are
existing with her.
So obviously I'm not targeting Megan the Stallion because 1501 seems like they have been satisfied.
with the agreement.
So something happened.
I don't know what happened,
but something happened.
And so since this is finalized,
Megan the Stallion finally dropped a new single titled Cobra,
making it her first release since leaving 1501
and the resolution of the legal battle.
So now Megan the Stallion is back again
to come back in full force,
which Cobra's been out.
But I wanted to cover the contractual side
of why she's now,
just now putting out music so with that being said um cobra as far as the track i'm not really gonna give
a review i'm just gonna say it's fire like i can't go into detail because megan the stallion can
really rap so i kind of listen to it like once or twice or two or three times and pick out what's
my favorite part of it but as far as the entire track megan the stallion is back like she never left
and i never really doubted that she would outwrap her competition because the competition is
like people like sexy red so um and i take that back i mean megan the stallion is put up there
with the lyricist so i would say a niki minage a lotto is probably her competition so you know can't
can't disrespect megan the stallion's pen because one of the more blown away moments i've ever
experienced was when i was watching the double excel freestyle and the baby and mcgian
was going back and forth like michael jordan and scotty pippen like they was really
bouncing off each other.
Is that a pause?
I guess not.
I don't know.
They was going crazy
with the freestyle
on that double Excel cup.
And if you don't believe me,
look it up.
The way they was rapping,
they was running that beat.
And it was insane to experience.
So with that being said,
click my link to your in my bio.
Let me know in one of my social media
is.
What do you think about making the stallion
in 1501 certified entertainment
finally coming to a settlement
after years long battle between both of them.
And since we didn't receive any details,
which side were you on and now which side did you believe came through as a victor?
