Starting point is 00:00:00 So just got to start off with this guy is the reason why I make content and that I'm in content career to land. And ultimately, if you want to have somebody who has a very long tenure in the content creator, create a game while also giving you a bunch of gems, just know, this is the guy for you. So ultimately, you know, I was just going to cover the Metal Gear Solid trailer as far as teasing the game because the game does come out two days. days, but I did remember that he also got hands-on time with it before everybody else. And there's a bunch of other, you know, metal gear, solid, you know, gameplay impressions that, you know, they flew some content creators out. But obviously, like I already said, this is the reason why I even create content.
Starting point is 00:00:47 So I thought it was a great opportunity to, you know, include him in this breakdown of metal gear solid. So that being said, metal gear, uh, metal gear solid snake eater. is going to come out soon, like I said in two days. And it highlights naked, naked, what in the world? Snake's covert mission during the 1960s cold world. Are they talking about the trailer? So, um, trailer emphasizes, teases, uh, also teases the return of the fan favorite snake versus monkey mode.
Starting point is 00:01:21 What in the world? Come on now. You guys. See, that's the problem. Hey, you know, whatever pays the bills, I guess. and introduces Foxhunt a new online multiplayer mode coming later in 2025.
Starting point is 00:01:32 Pre-orders are available now. It comes out in two days. The Digital Deluxe Edition offers bonus items and 48 hours of early access for the huge Metal Gear solid fans out there. So it comes down two days. I was assumed you could get that 48 hours
Starting point is 00:01:47 of early access now if you get the Digital Deluxe Edition. So that being said, let's get into my goal of content creators impressions of this video game, right? No.
Starting point is 00:02:01 Also, make sure hit the like button. Make sure they go follow him. Hokage highlights, you know what I'm saying? And hit the like button, you know what I mean? Got to practice what you preach. Let's get back into it right now. Hands on time with the new Metal Gear Solid Delta,
Starting point is 00:02:12 which is a snake eater remake. Shout out to Kunami for inviting me to this event. And I'm here to share my first impressions. First impressions. First impressions. And you guys want to know, what does your Hokkeye thing? about Delta and I'm gonna share some first impressions of the gameplay but before I
Starting point is 00:02:31 think he's about to get into the 18 worst of my questions are coming from the perspective of a metal gear casual I know who solid snake is um I have some familiarity with the French I mean who doesn't know what it is but I never played it I've played it I mean I never beat one let me put it that way I played it at a friend's this video is only 11 minutes and we're not going to get into the whole thing we're gonna let him talk about his impressions I played a lot of stealth games I played a lot of ton of games but I was more Splinter Cell game, I just never got into Metal Gear for whatever reason. So graphics look nice.
Starting point is 00:03:02 I mean, even invited me to this event. But hey, opportunities, opportunity. When it comes knocking, you put your foot on the pedal, that's some life advice. So yeah, I want to preface this video by saying the perspective of this game is coming dropping gyms and stuff. See, I told you. All right, my fault. Y'all going to say I'm playing.
Starting point is 00:03:16 I know a lot about games. And with that data, usually I can tell from a preview or even with the eye test, I can usually tell what's going to be a good game is going to appeal. to people, I will say even though I've never played Metal Gear, I feel confident in saying I think Metal Gear fans are going to like Metal Gear Solid Delta. After playing the game, I actually apologize. I actually apologize. I get it. I get it. And by the way, I played the final build, which is a good sign by the way. I played the final build. We're at the end of August. It was the top of August that we played. It was almost a month ago that I played this. I just wasn't
Starting point is 00:03:52 allowed to release my impressions until now. So just know that because I played it all day, the gameplay you're seeing on the screen is my personal gameplay. This is not some B-roll given to me by Kunami. I showed up. I recorded. I brought the game to play home. And now I get to show you what I did, which, by the way, like I said, we played all day
Starting point is 00:04:08 and I beat like the first three bosses. So, I mean, I got pretty far into the game while getting to explore. I feel like I had a good grasp on what Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater was by the time. Also, don't forget that this is a remake of the original. original metal gear solid three snake eater, which was released in 2004. Goodness. Talk about longevity. Shepherd. Just look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going on? That's insane. But it updates the core gameplay with visuals.
Starting point is 00:04:38 It updates the core gameplay and visuals with Unreal Engine 5, enhancing audio with 3D sound, and introducing modernized controls. So it reminds me of Mass Effect. You know, if y'all can't tell, I'm a huge Masterfic fan. And funny enough, this is the person who put me on a master fake. So when I talk about this is the reason, this guy is the reason I'm in a content creator in general. I'm very open about my huge inspirations in this field. So anyways, isn't it crazy how stuff could just, you know, you see your inspirations and it's just like, dang, like I'm actually doing this now. So it's kind of crazy.
Starting point is 00:05:12 Let's keep going. With that event. Yeah, it is my gameplay. Not only does it appeal to the people who originally played the old snake eater, but I, but I think. think this game is going to do a good job of appealing to newer people, which I mean, I think that's the goal with the remake. So right when you boot up the game, one thing I liked about it is it knows it's going to attract new people. It asks you out the gate, how familiar you are with Metal Gear? And then based off of that, it'll give you two different play style so you can
Starting point is 00:05:38 play with the traditional camera from the original release of the game, because from my understanding, it had like an interesting, wonky camera. And then you can also have the option to play with the new camera, which gives more of a traditional third person action style camera. If you're, you know, over-the-shoulder type stuff. You should feel very familiar with that. I went with the new one, because, I mean, it's a remake. It's a new version of the game. I said, sure. Why not? And when I loaded into the world, I was throwing back how kooky and unsurious the game was. It was just serious enough, but it was just goofy enough. And then when I actually got into the gameplay, I was impressed, man. The visuals, this is one of the best-looking games of 2025.
Starting point is 00:06:14 It's really good-looking and it's very optimized, which goes back to what I was saying earlier. I can't speak for the console version. We played on PC. All I can say is that bare minimum, that PC version is going to run well because I... Okay, another side note because he also added this later on. The console versions have been reported to run like trash. And that's just what people are saying, right? As far as the PC version, he had the most enhanced, improved PC when he was testing the game.
Starting point is 00:06:42 So whenever they say, like, my port or my game ran well, you have to keep that mind. They gave them the most advanced PCs to play with, and they're not playing on their own PCs. You know, it's not everybody has the same PC set up, obviously. But to hear that console version is having a lot of technical difficulties, it's very interesting. But he said that in his description, I believe. Let me see.
Starting point is 00:07:05 If you go down, he actually put that, he put an edit. Yeah, he said, console version. I don't know if y'all can see that. Consulversion was reported to run like butt. I don't know why he said like that. I was like that's actually crazy I was like what in the world like why who's described stuff like that he said cause aversion is reported to run like but I wasn't aware I wasn't unaware I played on PC so anyways he gave the update and then he linked this uh article if you wanted to look at it so anyways
Starting point is 00:07:36 let's keep on asked the people at Kunami um and they said we were pretty much playing on the final build and it was running buttery smooth it looked good I wouldn't get no frame rate drops or nothing like that so that is a good sign of confidence so i feel confident saying the console version should run well too but at bare minimum i can definitely tell you the pc version is going to be what i think this game does a good job is it keeps the essence of the original game in it while ushering it into a new era making it easy you know one of the things i wanted to say is um when it comes to my ignorant take on this world how come we never got a metal gear game crossover collab with sam fisher i think that'd be phenomenal. I don't know if the tone is a little different because, you know, of course,
Starting point is 00:08:18 the sound effect I use all the time. It comes from this game. So when it comes to that, I feel like Sam Fisher is iconic in his own right to have a crossover collab and make a story that makes sense. I know that from two different worlds. So, you know, you got to make it make sense. But ultimately, I think that would be great. I think that would be fantastic and make it co-op. Here and more accessible for a newer generation. Just by ignorant side tangent, none too crazy. Crazy new mind-blowing experience. Don't get me wrong. The new controls are cool and the third-person camera. I know that does change the game a lot, but I do feel like at the core at the essence, they still got it. And I, the reason I know is because I was sitting in between two hardcore
Starting point is 00:08:55 snake eater fans. And they were like, oh yeah, this is snake eater. But, you know, they updated it for 2025 and beyond. I think the main thing you should expect from this. Hey, handshot. Surprise, obviously better visuals and performance. But just small quality of life. That boy, it's not getting up. Quality of life changes. I was asking the Kudami guys, because like I said, I didn't play the original one. They were telling me, um... Yo, he don't see him? Oh, no, but say it.
Starting point is 00:09:18 Seamless dancing. You see what that pops up, that little image? Let me, um, the crouch. Obviously, people who played the game, but you know, obviously, that's when that sound goes off. Walking, uh, seamless dancing. Uh, you can lay on your back now and shoot. Uh, you can pause the cutscenes.
Starting point is 00:09:35 Apparently, that wasn't a thing. That would have drove me crazy, uh, when the original version came out. Um, just a lot of quality of life changes that, you think would be there, but they didn't, they weren't back then. And so then the game didn't age well in certain aspects. I feel like what this game does a good job of is keeping the essence of the original game, but kind of updating it and making it feel like what you thought it felt like when you were a kid, if that makes sense. An example like I. All right. So we're going to pause it right there. So essentially, if you don't know, this is the remake, like I said earlier, as far as Middle Gear Solid 3.
Starting point is 00:10:08 And that is the most successful. And it's widely regarded as the series peak. And of course, like you just saw with the gameplay, it blends a lot of stealth survival. And of course, it's saying the cold world, uh, cold war story. So very interesting. As you say, uh, as you, uh, as you heard TBA say is essentially not a game that takes itself too serious. So I'd be interested to see how they implement that implement that in the cold war setting. But just a nice little, um, implementation of who I think is the goal of content creator while also, uh, content creation, we're also getting into metal gear solid early gameplay impressions i was going to get into the trailer
Starting point is 00:10:46 but i forgot some early gameplay was out because i also covered the lego batman 30 minutes early gameplay and uh that was phenomenal so just wanted to show some people some gameplay before they get their hands on the game so with that being said hopefully you enjoyed uh tbhs breakdown early impressions of the metal gear solid delta and with that being said i click my link to my bio let me know one of my social media is what do you think about metal gear solid and of course if this if you're watching this from the future and they've been playing this game, what is your favorite thing about the remake?
