Starting point is 00:00:00 You know, I still haven't got over my beef with Metro Booman. After taking the goat off of trance and acting like he had no room for him, which he literally said in the interview, you can look it up yourself, said he had no room for Drake on the trance track, which is just blasphemy at his finest. So after getting past that and realizing that I definitely wanted to see the movie Spider-Man, because I don't think you understand. Like, I think Spider-Man is the greatest fictional creation of all time.
Starting point is 00:00:29 You know, shout out to Stan Lee and also RIP. to Stan Lee. But he's back again, Metro Boomin, of course, to assemble his own Superstar Avengers type lineup for the Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse soundtrack, which is out now on all DSPs. And one of the biggest things about this is obviously Metro is the executive producer,
Starting point is 00:00:54 but the biggest thing about it is that it's very much Spider-themed and the way he wrote this out was very creative. I would have to say myself, it was very creative. He had a lot of artists in Spider-Man art to announce if they was on the soundtrack or not. And boy, does he have a lineup of just straight-up Avengers? Future, 21 Savage, Sway Lee. If you don't remember, Sway Lee was the highlight, and I mean the biggest highlight of the first soundtrack,
Starting point is 00:01:22 because him and Post Malone came out with Sunflower. And I believe that was debuted, that song was debuted on the original soundtrack. for the first Spider-Man animated movie into the Spider-verse. But now, for across the Spider-Verse, Swaylia's back again for two times. So remember that Sunflower track with Post Malone went diamond. I mean, I think it went multiple times in diamond. Like, that's one of the most streamed songs ever, like in music history. Like Sunflowers just, I mean, listen to Sunflower and come back here and tell me that's not one of the greatest songs ever made.
Starting point is 00:01:56 So anyways, that's like two times diamond, I believe, or almost, I think it's like 14, 15, times platinum which is like one and a half diamond which you know people don't count a halfs i guess but you get what i'm saying so um yeah uh future sway lee twice 21 savage uh who else noz zvirt can't forget him with his kid definitely can't forget him and of course among other people but it's just been cleverly outlined and promoted and just just The strategic marketing around the soundtrack is just a sight to behold because usually artists, if they say they're putting something out, guess what? They're just going to put it out the day after.
Starting point is 00:02:45 They're going to be like, hey, my stuff dropping, copy if you want. Literally, that's the promo nowadays, and people will be wondering why they flopping left and right. So I'm glad that Metro Booman put forth the effort of promoting this album. And also, he really put together a lineup that people would not. I forget as you know you put Future and Uzi on the same track people are obviously going to listen but you know he has a lot of other names on this soundtrack and of course having nods at the end called Nause Morales like you know people going to check that out like it's just selling out of
Starting point is 00:03:16 like it's just going out of style like every time Nause raps everybody's going to listen so there's a lot of notable names on here reminds me of a DJ Callet type of soundtrack the way that he just has superstars spread it all over the album and we're going to see if it's fire or not because I haven't listen to the entire thing so I can't give them no review but from what I've heard it seems like it's gonna be pretty solid so click my link to my bio let me know one of my social media's what do you think about Metro booming and him executive producing the Spider-Man across the Spider-Verst soundtrack and if you have listened to the entire soundtrack what is your favorite song
