Starting point is 00:00:00 Now who would have thought that everybody killing and dog piling this specific track, especially from their perceived quality level garnered from this track, would end up making it one of the more pivotal tracks in the music industry. But then you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip-hop. Like, what's going on? Now the reason I say that is because of chart data for June 7th on Billboard, Slate's M GK's song cliche to be the 70th most play track in the world.

Starting point is 00:00:38 Now, how would this happen in the midst of everybody killing this track? I mean, I see comments talking about, oh, hi, I'm MGK and I'm from Disney Channel. I see people saying, oh, M&M definitely ruined this man's career. Whole time, this man took some liberties, and that's an understatement, as far as the experimental route to his usual music creation and came out with a tick talk anthem yes ladies and gentlemen when it comes to tic talk a lot of people are recreating their choreography and the music video to the point where it's racked up thousands and millions of views based off that platform alone and now when it comes to tic ticc cliche is earned 38

Starting point is 00:01:19 surge as far as in statistics to the point where it is going to be one of the more popular tracks in the world slated for june 7 more specifically is slated to be the 70th most played track in the world so that should all that should tell all artists out there if they're hating on it if they're hating on you as far as your artistic expression either you have to give it some time because of course art is subjective somebody could love one thing somebody else could look at that same exact thing and say that's absolute garbage art is completely subjective so the way that m gk went about showcasing his range as far as genres is is definitely interesting and he found himself surprisingly he found himself with a pop hit on ticot as far as the dance the dance

Starting point is 00:02:14 category because who would have thought that this would have went down as smooth as it did as far as analytically speaking because if you look at the overall perception you would have thought everybody hated this track anyways cliche is leading mjj's into his seventh studio album if you don't know when it comes to m gk his last album was in twenty twenty four hotel diablo and of course that album came out july fifth 2024 and when it comes to 2025 this is the first marketing big budget marketing attempt to drum up engagement for his next project which is slated to be a seventh studio album if you don't know m gk is under bad boys slash interscope records. So it's a lot to be said about that in general.

All I'm going to say is he is under bad boy records slash interscope and he made a dancing record, right? And with that being said, I'm not going to connect anything. I'm just going to let you know that I believe if Diddy was to watch this music video from behind bars, he would have been pleased on what he was witnessing i mean this is the white version this is the main a's version of making the band now that being said m gk of course and uh his ex megan fox which i even know they split up but they welcome um their child into the world and the reason why i say that is just to let fans of m gk know that he's been dealing with family stuff so that's probably

Starting point is 00:03:52 why you haven't received any music and the uh as far as this year, that's why you haven't been receiving an abundance of music because you've been having singles here and there, whether it's your name forever, whether it's come pick me up, whether it's Iris, all of those came out in 2025 from MGK, but overall, we haven't had a real single type anthem to promote his next album. So that's what cliche is, is setting TikTok on fire right now as far as everybody doing dances and things of that nature, but also setting things on. fire on other platforms as far as people just straight up trashing the overall quality or their
