Starting point is 00:00:03 Now at first glance, I was thinking to myself, man, whose grandpa is this? And then it dawned on me. These people put out a track in 1993 and 2025 and it still blew up, which goes back to my ultimate point of consistency in the music industry. Because of course, not only in the music industry, just consistency in general means that you only only. lose when you ultimately quit because ladies and gentlemen the band we're about to get into today as far as a popular band known for their unique blend of mexican music of course and then mix with a little bit of kumbia and tropical rhythms founded in the early founded in the early 1990s yes ladies and gentlemen we're going all the way back to the 90s because this track originally released in 1993 that was
Starting point is 00:01:03 titled pelotero a la bola hopefully i pronounced that right if i didn't just know i try my best you know what i'm saying so at the end of day there was a 2025 remastered release that included this track of course released by craft recordings and it featured enhanced audio quality bringing the track and the overall project from 1993 some new life as far as bringing it back to life giving it to a new generation and they actually ended up loving it to the point where the most popular track off of that project as far as pelotero a la bola is currently the 49th most played track in mexico but that's not the biggest stat that i wanted to read off the main thing i wanted to talk about is sergio lopez Jose louis tarasus jrador jr jr javier
Starting point is 00:02:01 Tarazes, Arturo Lopez, and then there's other supporting members as far as various instrumentalists and backup vocalists generally in their 40s and 50s. Safe to say, this is a bingo club if I ever seen one. Because at the end of day, the oldest member is 50 years old. So when you think about that, it's not too old, right? You thought I was going to say like 70 or 80 when I said grandpa. Ultimately, I'm just making jokes and just showcasing how consistency is one of the biggest things when it comes to success. Because of course, one of the oldest sayings in the book is that when opportunity meets preparation, then ultimately that equals success. Now, getting off my old man soapbox, because I always say I'm 25 going on 80s.
Starting point is 00:02:50 So with that being said, getting back into the singles, getting back into the single in the project, it being released in the 90s and giving a enhanced, remaster in 2025. A lot of the loyal fans came back, but also because of the chorus and the tempo being more dance focus, right? For dance events, as far as the entire project being considered, people from all ages are listening to the track, which showcases why the Pelotero A La Bola track is the 49th most play track in Mexico, because people like the dance.
Starting point is 00:03:26 I don't know about y'all, but if they hear a certain track that makes them want to move their feet then ultimately that is success that is a success for whoever made that specific track so when i'm getting into this band when i'm talking about how they revolutionized revolutionized the groupero genre by infusing traditional mexican styles with upbeat kumbia and tropical sounds but also adding that danceable vibe as far as people being very moved by their music to the point where they'll get on a dance floor and whether even though they otherwise wouldn't have listening to other tracks right so specializing and dance dancing type music which you could probably think you probably think it to yourself isn't every track uh made for you to dance to some genres
Starting point is 00:04:18 prioritize that more than other genres i would compare a regular single at the top of the charts to like a, not to see slide, but like, I forget some of the most popular dance tracks. Like there's this one country dance track that is like basically when they tell you to slide to the left, slide to the right and crisscross stuff like that. At the end of the day, there's more prioritized tracks that specifically focus on you moving, right? For this project, it's not as much calling out the steps that you need to do, but danceable vibes has always came from this group and that comes into fruition as you look at the longevity and how long
Starting point is 00:05:01 people have been playing these uh tracks since the 90s as usually if you make a classic dance type track you ultimately realize that it's lifespan on the on uh the DSPs and just in people's hearts as long lasting compared to a regular track that may blow up so at the end of day i do believe dance type tracks is just is definitely a cheat code but it's only a cheat code if you hit the mark and of course for me banda al mexicano the popular mexican group formed and then uh well found it in the early 90s safe to say that they definitely hit their mark with their particular track pelotero a la bola which is currently the 49th most played track in mexico so with that being said click my link to you in my bio let me know one of my social media is what do you think about this particular band having a
Starting point is 00:05:54 track a having a project from the 90s enhanced to the point where now in 2025 it's being picked up by not only new artists or not new fans alike but also the loyal fans
