You know what's so funny?
I kept saying over and over and over and over and over and over again
that the weekend reminds me of Michael Jackson.
And now that we have evolution and AI technology to the point
where we can mimic anybody's voice to put on whatever type of song we want,
we're getting all type of Michael Jackson and the weekend covers.
Michael Jackson covering the weekend's music,
the weekend covering Michael Jackson's music.
It's almost like I was correct in them sounding similar.
Now, maybe I went a little bit too far when I try to say that the weekend sings better
than Michael Jackson.
Maybe that's too far.
I know y'all going to kill me.
It's okay.
You know what I mean?
But Michael Jackson, to me, is a very unpolished version of the weekend.
And when I say unpolished, obviously Michael Jackson,
Jackson's one the greatest artist to ever grace one of if not the greatest artist ever grace
Mike but um when i think of the weekend i feel like he's a more polished michael jackson
and i know that may rub some people the wrong way but that's just how i feel music is subjective
you know you don't got to agree with my take but you know sometimes you got to respect it
or you don't have to respect this okay you know i mean it hurt my heart just a little bit
but i get over at some point so anyways i say all that to say this
AI has given us a Michael Jackson Starboy cover.
And of course, the link will be in the bottom of my description.
But what I really want to talk about is just the comparisons of the weekend and Michael Jackson.
Because if there's one thing about Able Test Faye, aka The Weekend, is that he will sing to the point where you're like,
ain't nobody else messing with him when it comes to performing vocally.
because you listen to the weekend live
and you would have think you was listening to the weekend
on Spotify or Apple music.
Like the quality does not drop off at all.
And obviously, other people,
I mean, when we're getting into just a vocal,
the vocal performance
and the quality-driven pop sound of the weekend
versus Michael Jackson,
I think that we can firmly say,
that it's a comparison.
It's almost like Michael Jordan and LeBron James.
Like vocally, these, no, as far as impact, not impact,
but as far as like vocal wise and cadence,
you could see where the comparisons are drawn.
But obviously there's people like me that may take it a little bit too far
and saying that the weekend is just a more polished version of Michael Jackson.
So when we're getting into all these Michael Jackson covers of the weekend,
then you can start to acknowledge that
they have similar cadences when it comes to singing.
And that's all I wanted to say.
So basically, all of these Michael Jackson covers are going to be more about the same
when you see him covering Starboy, when you see him covering Die for You.
A lot of these weekend tracks, and I think it's for a reason.
But, you know, I don't want to keep reiterating my point.
I think I get it at this stage.
So what else?
So there's something else I wanted to get into with these AI covers.
Oh, yeah.
So basically, the question I want to leave you with is, well, also, click my link tree in my bio,
and let me know in one of my social medias.
What do you think about the Michael Jackson and the weekend comparisons?
And who do you think, vocally, is better?
