Starting point is 00:00:00 Miley Cyrus and breakup songs go hand in hand at this point as her certified hit flowers when you look at it from an analytical standpoint. And now her dropping her new album specifically for the summer. I mean, it's literally titled Endless Summer Vacation. So you can kind of see what type of Phennaeus and Verve vibe she's going for it. But for the most part, obviously she was. married to Liam Hansworth at one point and then now he's her ex-husband. Why am I telling you this? Because when artists make breakup songs, you know, people want to believe it's real. You know, people want to believe what you're saying is something that's a direct reflection of your life,
Starting point is 00:00:49 which is sort of why I like music the way I do. Because a lot of my favorite artist, the biggest thing I very much appreciate its authenticity, which unfortunately leads to some people's demise, as you've seen with Juice World, but also it's led to some people's what's other way? Uprice, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:01:12 Basically, it could be a positive or a negative thing, but as long as you're being authentic, then I can accept it. The worst thing I can, the worst thing that I hear as far as music-wise is when somebody's like a
Starting point is 00:01:27 rapper and they portray a lifestyle that they are not living because of course hip hop is filled with a lot of violent activities and no I'm not saying well I need you to kill somebody for me to enjoy your music but if you're a nice person
Starting point is 00:01:45 going throughout life in a law-abiding way I don't need you coming on a track like I used to sell drugs to get to get where I was like you know what I mean because that obviously wasn't your life but if they used to be your life, like in a example, I can use Jay-Z,
Starting point is 00:02:00 then people can't accept that or be willing to it accept that because that was actually your life and you're just telling your life story. You may not be doing it now, but you used to. And when it's the other way around, when you didn't do it at all, but you're rapping like
Starting point is 00:02:16 you, or you're portraying like you are that, then you just end up being called John Morant. So anyways, Miley Cyrus just dropped a new breakup song and it's called jaded and I think jaded is a perfect title
Starting point is 00:02:33 for any song because a lot of different artists are jaded when they come to like their perspectives on relationships I don't know if y'all ever notice this but if you think about some of the best relationships and music like the best duos a lot of them don't end up well or if they do then it's a lot of
Starting point is 00:02:55 but let's say cheating going on that gets exposed to the public. I mean, I can name or list out so many different iconic musicians that have been a couple for a long time and the multiple scandals that they have to go through just to live their life. But obviously, you know, everybody has the faults. And when you're a celebrity, it's just a microscope on it. It's just, I don't think expert out is the right word, but it's highlighted to the 10th degree. compared to the normal civilian, you know? So anyways, I say all that to say that this new track from Mila Cyrus called Jaded
Starting point is 00:03:32 is probably a direct reflection of what she's kind of feeling on the inside that she's given a lot of interviews to different outlets at this point, kind of detailing what she was feeling while making these songs. And it lets you in on her life and why she does the things she does. So you don't think it's just coming from a random place. And that's really a one way I get to with this track. So the biggest thing I need you to take away from this is that Miley Cyrus' new album, Inlet's Summer Vacation is out now.
Starting point is 00:04:05 Two of the biggest tracks is being playlisted on DSPs is, I believe it's jaded. There's River, which I just reviewed both of those respectively. And then there's another track, but I was like, I'm not covering every single Miley Cyrus' track. Let's just say there's a lot of Mali Sari's singles are. tracks off her album that are on DSP new music playlist so if this album doesn't do well analytically then something's up so anyways um click my link sure in my bio let me know on one of my social medias and i have this like specific question do you like when music is a direct
Starting point is 00:04:43 reflection of the musician's life or no
