Starting point is 00:00:03 I had some help. Cowgirls spin you around are all tracks that's currently impacting the masses from Morgan Wallen. But you know what's a upcoming track that nobody's talking about, but they will be talking about pretty soon? The track Whiskey Whiskey with Post Malone, or no, with Morgan Wallin and Money Bagelio. I was trying to pull up the actual because I have the projected chart data for this particular track and apparently this track is going to be the 22nd most play song in the world. That's a pretty big deal because if you don't know, hip hop's in a pretty rough state right now. We really only chart when beef is attached. So with that being considered, there's really no kumbaya music that's going to be in the top 50 or top 20.
Starting point is 00:01:01 is more of a certain type of character character caricature i don't know i said that but basically it's a character you have to play to gain the top 25 especially when it when hip-hop is considered so for morgan wallen to give a feature to uh money bag yo even if it is money bag yo's oh no it is money bag yo song so with this being money bag yo song he's given a drake stimulus type package to money bag yo giving him one of his more successful tracks in his career while also putting another hip hop name in a top 50 when regarding the most popular tracks because with the advanced analytics is basically saying that's going to be the 22nd most play track in the world which is a very very big deal if we're talking about the long game because 2023 was pretty bad when it came
Starting point is 00:02:03 to performing on the charts for hip hop for the hip hop genre this year we have the biggest he uh the biggest hip hop beef in history and the only track from that beef that's in the top 25 is the not like us track but granted is at number six well it's projected to be at number six i think currently is that no it is it is actually at number six with the current charts too so yeah that's projected to stay at number six but that is the the main focus of the segment just talk about the state of hip hop and how country has taken over in a way that hip hop definitely has to evolve if you want to get to higher status when it comes to the masses because Sabrina carpenter is not going nowhere post Malone is definitely not going nowhere Tommy Richman which do people consider him hip hop
Starting point is 00:03:01 I don't know. Joseo, Teddy Swims, Benson Boone, Billy Elish, Zach Brian, you get what I'm saying. Really no hip-hop names in the midst of that besides Shibuzi and
Starting point is 00:03:15 Kendrick Lamar. But also M&L. So with that being considered, I think the biggest thing that hip-hop can do to get back into the good graces of the masses. They basically maybe have some more substance,
Starting point is 00:03:30 put a little bit more thought, into your titles and instead of just selling a lifestyle on killing people or flooding the streets with drugs maybe get a little introspective into your life and your personal upbringing you know what i'm saying as boring as it sounds i'm pretty sure somebody out there can put together a rap to make it onto the charts talking about their life i mean drakes did it for an eternity and then now with him rapping about other things as far as other people life experience versus people say as music is not hitting the same. So I think there is a very interesting detail as far as how you can go into your personal life
Starting point is 00:04:12 because only you have lived all of your experiences in life, right? So if you rap about that, if you sing about it, well, I'm specifically talking about hip hop. So if you rap about it, put it in a way that's engaging. I think you could probably climb back onto the charts because right now, hip hop. I'm not going to say it's in a bad state, but as far as competing in the top 10, top 20, not doing the greatest of jobs. So shout out to Morgan Wallen for at least helping out hip hop in that sense of giving us a feature for MoneyBagyo because you don't see any of the other pop or country artists willingly giving out features to hip hop artists. I think that's a testament to Morgan Wallen's ability to blend Sonics. Because to this day, both of his tracks with Little Dirk is just straight fire to the point
Starting point is 00:05:08 where it's like, man, no wonder he's sitting in honest flight. Let me chill. So at the end of the day, yeah, Morgan Wallen definitely helped out a lot when it came to a money bag yo and giving him one of his more successful tracks of all time with whiskey whiskey. So with that being said, click my link to your bio. Let me know one of my social media is. What do you think about the money bag, bag, bag, yo track whiskey, uh, whiskey.
Starting point is 00:05:31 featuring Morgan Wallen and what do you think hip hop needs to do to get back in the good graces of the masses
