Starting point is 00:00:00 How much artists from one music can one consume until it's too much? Now, in its entirety, I think Young Boy has finally broken the record for the most albums in one year from a prominent artist under a major label. I can safely say he probably did that in 2022. But in 2023, he's back again with it on album number two in just five months. technically he's on pace to have about four to five albums last year i think he had like eight seven or eight so this year he slowed down a little bit and that's saying something for a young boy so i want to bring this up because this track is titled channel nine produced by rachan d teetay made it interesting and cano a keynote i don't know he said that um is one of
Starting point is 00:00:59 these snippets the young boy sent out before the album it was highly anticipated everybody was like man this better be on the album that's one thing about artists and putting out snippets is if you're going to give the fans snippets right and then you're going to give them hope of release on your album like if you put out a snippet and you're going to make them feel like it's going to be on the album when you release it and it doesn't end up on the album all your fans are going to be in your comment section talking about where's this we're going to be on the album with so-and-so snippet, where's this, you played us, I can't believe this. Even if the album's straightfire, they would have been like, you know, would have made it better if that snippet would have been on there. Because it's one thing about hip-hop and snippets is that it sounds 10 times better than the actual track when it officially releases. So for Channel 9, obviously it seems like a lot of people is gravitating towards it off of the album, as the numbers seem to indicate that compared to the rest of it.
Starting point is 00:01:59 of the albums on the rest of the tracks on the album. So Channel 9, F the industry, and another track will seeming to attract the eyes of a lot of fans, as these have the most plays as far as concurrent, yeah, concurrently compared to the rest of the tracks. And don't ask me how I know that. Just know I like to do my research, and that's how it goes. So at the end of the day, for Young Boy and his 20 million tracks on one album, I think that if it's working for him, he should probably keep doing it because a lot of these artists wish they had a fan base like Young Boy.
Starting point is 00:02:37 And if his fan base is going to keep showing up time and time again, giving him 50 to 60,000 sales first week when he drops every single week, basically, then I think it's a testament to a cult-like fan base and other artists should take notes. I probably try to not mimic a young boy, but to try to get in. good cahoots with him because if there's one thing about the hip hop game is all about clicks or clicks and uh meaning like groups and um young boy seems to be by himself so if you know that one artist that can get in good in the good graces of young boy then i think that would be very fruitful for your musical career but hey you know that's just you know food for thought so anyways uh click my link to you in my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about channel nine by NBA young boy and the richest album in general what is your favorite track off of it and
Starting point is 00:03:35 if you haven't heard it will you in the future be giving it a listen
