Starting point is 00:00:03 Now of course the two-pack that Kent Trail just put out as far as top teams and then of course the other track titled Finness is very interesting as when you look at him of course being under Motown Records which is a subsidiary of Universal Music Group. One of the main things I wanted to look at especially with him already having an album out this year, more leaks, was the process of him being released from federal prison because when you look at it. young boy being released from federal prison especially with him already having an album out and things that nature so he could have just chilled out but expeditiously as soon as he got out of prison he went on a tour titled Massa. But then you know what I'm saying I was like damn look at the state of hip-hop like what's going on so as far as young boy and him being released from federal prison just know he only well i say only you know i'm a law about the citizen so i'm gonna say any time spent behind bars is
Starting point is 00:01:04 probably very traumatic for anybody. But I never knew what that felt like because guess what? I followed the law. So you know what that being said? Getting back into control. He was serving 11 months of a 23-month sentence for federal gun charges, right? So he was halfway through his sentence, essentially, and then he was transferred from Talladega Federal Correctional Institution in Alabama to a residential reentry management
Starting point is 00:01:30 facility in Phoenix, Arizona to prepare for a supervised release. Now, of course, his original release date was set for April 26, 2025, but he was freed earlier. Why was he freed earlier? Some say possible good behavior and things of the nature as far as a time served good behavior. A lot of other people think that his major label being Universal Music Group had a huge hand in him getting out of the federal sentence. Because he's a major label, he's a major label, he's a huge hand. if you look at he, he also had to pay a $25,000 fine. I mean, talk about tariffs. And then also, he is now on five years of supervised probation with conditions, including drug screenings and mental health evaluations. Ladies and gentlemen, five years of supervised probation
Starting point is 00:02:24 and conditions, uh, including drug screenings and mental health evaluations. It's almost like somebody was like, hey, we're going to let you into the free world, but you're not going to be free. You're just going to be free enough to make us a little bit more money. I wonder who could be thinking like that. But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? Anyways, you know, obviously, I'm probably just making stuff up, right?
Starting point is 00:02:48 So, you know, as far as him getting out of prison and expeditiously going on a tour with it being titled Massa, I mean, you know, I'm probably just making up stuff. So anyways, with the young boy on his Massa tour, he's also. putting out a lot of more music to promote Massa right as finest and top teams is out currently and with that two-pack his fan base is definitely going to showcase why they're one of the more pivotal fan bases in the hip-hop game because there is one thing that I consistently say young boy has one of the more supportive fan bases in hip-hop because a lot of the things that young a lot of the things that little baby and baby felt victim to as far as their fans leaving or the less engagement being brought in because
Starting point is 00:03:36 of them seemingly sounding the same interestingly enough young boy has never ran into the issue so now people support his music time and time again and young boy fans don't kill me but i believe he's not really changing it up too drastically right i believe sonically a lot of things sound the same i'm just gonna say it because i can go cap to you just because you sell a lot does not mean you make high quality and just because you don't sell a lot means you're making the absolute worst music ever the two don't correlate sometimes it does with young boy i believe his quality level has been at a consistent level i don't think it's trash music by any stretch of their imagination but you'll be lying to yourself to say that young boy is switching it up on every single album right as far as sonically as far as
Starting point is 00:04:23 different flows and things of that nature so um but that's just another testament to his supporting base because they will support him no matter what so safe to say this tour is also going to be phenomenally sold out and with tickets being as low as 89 dollars i believe people are going to pop out to go watch his uh 31 show tour as far as uh his master tour so anyways getting back into his two pack that he just dropped to click my link to you in my bio let me know on one of my social medias what do you think about his track finest and at the end of the day are you raising any eyebrows to nb a young boy releasing or no going on a tour after getting out of prison going on a tour titled massa
