Side note, the all thing Jay Cole is still waiting in the studio to this day, waiting on his Young Boy feature?
Fool for thought.
But anyways, all jokes aside, NPA Young Boy has just put out his album, I just got a lot on my shoulders.
So with that being said, it just released today for all DSPs and basically 11 tracks.
And guess how many features is on this?
One, two, actually, three, four, five.
Okay, I'm joking.
It has zero features.
So Young Boy is back on his, I Don't Mess with the Industry Wave,
which is honestly one of my favorite songs as far as,
I think it was called F the Industry.
Let me see.
F the industry.
Yeah, so Young Boy, he put out Part 2 here.
He really don't like the industry.
F the Industry 1 that came out on the last Llamito.
And then F the Industry Part 2, just to let y'all know,
he was serious about that that came out on the richest op i wonder who's his richest op anyways uh i'm not
trying to be glad anyways uh december 6 2024 this album 16 songs of 16 tracks long 46 minutes in length
pause and has no features and basically it's come out during young boy being incarcerated
because if you don't know young boy is locked up currently and doesn't
seem like he's going to get out anytime soon he basically pled guilty to a federal gun charge
right resulting in a 27 month prison sentence which technically going off of what he was accused with
is definitely a slap on a wrist but for people who've never been to prison talking about the
timeline of being in prison people who came from prison get offended like what you mean 27 months
this is a long time in prison well my brother
If your young boy facing years in prison, but technically 27 is years.
Well, anyways, he was facing more than five plus years, right?
He was about to get the same sentence that young thug got, but just like young thug, he got off light.
So basically, they said that there's a early, there's a chance of early release based on time already served.
So there's rumors that he would be coming home soon.
And with that, this album will probably get an even more boost in sales when he comes home.
because if you don't know, he's released so many projects throughout his time and grave
digger mountain.
While I was somebody who has charges, name his home that beats me, right?
So anyways, his fans remain highly supportive because of, you know, young boy fans are
very supportive.
And I like Young Boy's music.
I say all the time, one of my favorite tracks from Young Boy is, I forget what it's
called I think is I got this.
Let me see, I got this.
Yeah, one of my favorite songs of all time from young boys, I got this.
I think that's the best lyrical performance from young boy.
It's top tier lyrical performance from young boy as far as him getting into the
introspective thoughts and putting it in the actual track.
Like he'd really be speaking on these tracks about his actual life.
And that's one of the things I highly respect about young boy, even though he is filled with
ignorance like as far as dragon ball z this man ignorance levels is over nine thousand right but the
authenticity and the transparency of letting you know how flawed he is is what i enjoy the most because
usually art is a reflection is uh imitating life for the for the great ones you use your obstacles in
life to create the most fire of music which is why
sometimes when somebody is a muse,
I think that's what you say.
That's what you call it.
As far as creating something magnificent
or iconic,
they try to double back and sue you
to be like, hey, I was the one that helped you.
Like, I'm the one who broke your heart
that you rap and bow, you're singing about
so I should get some compensation.
Like, that's a real thing.
If you use somebody as a muse,
there's a reason why that word exists.
This is a real thing.
Some people can fuel you through heartbreak,
through upliftment, through whatever,
into making some of the greatest,
content for the masses. So young boy putting out, I got this. I don't know what he was going through
at that time, but man, he put together a masterclass of just putting words together. And I've always
enjoyed young boys music from that aspect as far as it being very authentic. No matter how
ignorant and non-law abiding it is, I really enjoy artists being transparent. Because there's so
many so many artists out here i'm not gonna name any but there's so many artists out here
rapping about somebody else's life what i think was j z push your tea i forgot to say
saw saw it uh dang what was the notepad line i totally forgot the no pad line hold up now i got
bring it up j z no scribbled in your notepad let me see if it pulls it up hopefully
i think it was takeover there we go ah takeover because i
I think it was targeted towards Nause, I believe.
I don't know why my PC is buffering.
Like, I ain't, let me chill.
All these, all these racks, you know what I'm saying?
What's it for?
Dodd Flea, let me chill.
All right, so, let me see, notepad.
You scribbled it.
And, okay, disclaimer, this is from the greatest rapper to ever live.
Sean Carter.
Well, Kendrick may have something to say about that.
Because at this point, the way he did, Drake and J. Cole, I ain't a lot.
Kendrick may be the greatest.
rapper to ever live.
I'm just saying.
Anyways,
Jay-Z,
which is,
you know,
still currently the greatest
rapper dead or alive,
put out on takeover,
well,
put a track out titled
takeover
and said,
you scribbled it
in your notepad.
No,
no,
my fault.
You got to start
from the right place.
It's only so long
fake thugs can pretend.
Let me pull this up.
Analyter Dreams video
on Spotify.
see the video along with the audio so y'all can read this masterpiece along with me right so
anyways um it's only so long fake thugs can't pretend you ain't live it all this pg podcast so
i'm not saying any of the cuss words um it's only so long fake thugs can pretend you ain't live it
you witnessed it from your folks pad yep you scribbled it in your notepad and your notepad and
created your life. That's, that's some bars right there. He goes on to say, I showed you your first
tech on the tour with large professor. Me, that's who. Then I heard your album about your tech on the
dresser. So yeah, I sampled your voice. You was using it wrong. You made it a hot line. I made it a hot
song. Oh my, what's fun flex we needed, bro. Hold on. No, bro. No, you made that hot line. I made
the hot song this that's that's masterful bars i ain't gonna lie to it's a reason why he he's the
greatest all the time you know dead or alive i'm sorry i'm sorry man i got it you know what i mean like
i don't think you i understand i think i need funk flex to tell y'all how i feel about that
yeah listen that's cool motherfucking bars nigger you know nothing about that hold on hold on
say one more time they ain't hear you yeah listen that's cool motherfucking bars nigga
You know nothing about that.
Oh my goodness, I was a bar.
Now, that's, that is what Drake should have came back with.
Like, because if you remember, takeoff, take off, uh, take off my fault.
Rest a piece of takeoff.
Takeover came after ether, I believe.
Yeah, I think it came after ether.
Hopefully I'm not getting my timeline and stuff.
Old heads don't kill me.
But yeah, so masterful bars from Jay Z.
I ain't going to lie to you.
But anyways, why did I say that?
Oh, yeah, because authenticity.
So, yeah, young boys, one of the more.
authentic artists that I've seen in recent years. And I think that's to be highlighted as far as
one of the few positive aspects of his music. Because obviously, you know, gun violence and all the
other stuff, you know, allegedly, it's not the greatest. You know what I mean? So with that
being said, young boys' album, I got a lot. I just got a lot on my shoulders. It's out now on all
DSPs. And with that being said, click my link to you in my bio. Let me know on one of my social
medias what do you think about young boy's status being currently incarcerated but may get off on
time served but with that being said will you be listening to i just got a lot on my shoulders
and if you do and you finish let me know what is your favorite track from his latest album
