Now in the Prison Olympics, this is a close race because we have NBA young boy dropping his album titled More Leaks.
And then of course we have the one and only day star Peterson, also known as Torrey Lane dropping his album Peterson.
Now, of course, both of these gentlemen are in jail.
So the releasing music from jail, which is bringing me back to my original sentiment, the Prison Olympics have started.
I don't know who's going to get the gold medal.
I don't know who's going to get the silver medal,
but we may have to give it to one of the officers to hand it to him whenever they receive their medal,
because who's going to come out on top?
Now, from first glance, I do believe young boy is going to do better numbers overall than Tori.
Now, I can end up being wrong because there's a lot of anticipation for this Torrey Lane's album
that's out now on all DSPs titled Peterson, right?
But when it comes to young boy, you really can't underestimate the impact of his hive because of the YB mantra, right?
You basically have YB better on one side and then you have free Tory on the other side.
Which one do y'all think is more popular?
It's more of a debate than it was in the past because, of course, Tori Lane's popularity went through the roof throughout the entire court case of him.
versus the entire trial of him versus Megan Estalia.
But now you have young boy dropping on the same day that Peterson dropped and they're both in prison.
So I'm like, hold up now.
And y'all are really trying to start this prison Olympics?
Because I'll get the medals.
You know what I'm saying?
Like we'll figure out how we could deliver the gold or silver medals to their jail cell.
Because I'm pretty sure you can sell, you can send mail, right?
So, you know, maybe just put a little picture of a gold medal, right?
Or a silver medal.
like we really have to figure this out on how we're going to you know congratulate these gentlemen on who comes out on top right pause but anyways so as far as this particular album is titled more leaks now i ain't a lot to you as far as young boy putting out music this man puts out music like the NBA has games in the regular season like this is like a non-stop effort back to back to back of just straight music now his fan base probably enjoys that because he still has 18
he still has a 16.1 million monthly listeners he's nowhere to be found on the charts singles or albums wise but as far as his album or no as far as the album before more leaks it was titled i just got a lot of my shoulder that came out December 6 right that album had about 16 songs 46 minutes then he had an album out that same year march 8th 2024 13 songs 35 minutes
Then he had an album out of 2023, November 10th, 2023.
So fast forward from those three albums.
And now we're in 2025 and he's released the new album today, March 7th, titled More Leaks.
This man is a non-stop machine when it comes to putting out music.
Now, of course, from a quality aspect, I'm not going to lie to you.
I feel like that kind of hurts him a little bit.
I don't know what his fan base thinks about that because him putting out so much music,
There was a point where the YB fandom was so strong that every single track this man put out was just shooting up the charts.
Then it started to trickle off a little bit.
And then interestingly enough, when it got to a low point, he ended up getting locked up.
It's very interesting how certain actions get you locked up after the fact as far as falling, not falling off,
but as far as your trajectory going downwards as far as music consumption.
It's almost as if his label was using him for monetary games and then locked them up when they realized they squeezed him for all the clout that he had.
Now, I'm not saying young boys washed up.
I'm just saying he's not as popular as he was when he put out, which one was?
It was the one with the hoodie, I believe.
Yeah, colors.
He's not as popular as when he put out colors.
So this is very telling to me that now he's coming out with an album title, More Leaks, because I do believe it's not.
not going to do as well on the charts from a global standpoint. But as far as the prison Olympics,
right, I think he'll end up getting the gold medal because I do believe he will outsell
Torrey Lane's Peterson, not saying they're competing with one another, but both of these gentlemen
are in prison releasing an album at the same time while they're in prison. I don't think that's a
coincidence. So many Thursdays out of the year when they choose to release an album at the same time
as the other guys releasing the album. I don't think that's a coincidence. But hey, maybe I'm just
just looking into it to uh yeah maybe i'm just looking too deep into it right so with this particular
album is out now on all dsps it is 20 songs which is an hour of one minute worth of content right
and is under never broke again LLC slash motown records now as far as motown i don't know who
they are under i would assume UMG because i believe that's the people who got him into his
what did he call it?
Death Row Mansion or something like that.
It was like murder, murder heel.
He called it something crazy, like Graveside, I don't know, it was something like that.
So anyways, Motown Records label.
Let me see.
Because I believe he's under UMG, but I want to make sure.
So Motown Records, are they under any label?
Let me see.
I think they may be a major label.
I don't know if they're under anything.
Let me see.
They under.
So Motown Records is in itself.
Has been part of, okay, never mind.
Yeah, they're part of Universal Music Group.
Okay, yeah, because that's why I assume.
I just didn't want to guess.
So young boy being under UMG is no surprise,
as he's one of the top artists in the game.
UMG currently has 40,
currently has 48% of the entire music market share,
which inevitably means they're the big dogs in the music industry.
So when young boy is putting out music under UMG,
best believe it's going to get pushed to the masses,
and people are going to listen to it because guess what?
The YB better is still somewhere.
You know, they may not be as prevalent nowadays,
but they're somewhere in the woodworks,
and they're probably going to come out for this album titled,
more leaks. So that being said, click my link,
sure in my bio, let me know one of my social media
is, what do you think about young boy
releasing this album from prison? The same day
that Tori Lane's released his album from prison
and who do you think would end up
earning
the gold medal in the prison Olympics?
