Now, NBA Young Boy is back again, and not only did he announce a whole other project titled,
I Just Got a Lot on My Shoulders, but he also released three new tracks.
Now, of course, if you go to look on it, go look for it on your local DSPs, right?
It's non-existent.
Why? Because, hey, the YouTube drop never fails.
Now, of course, in light of artists just completely disregarding the contracts
and releasing exclusive content on other platforms.
NBA Young Boy is just the next up in line
to basically follow that strategy
as Drake's been doing it with 100 gigs
that's made Universal Music Group extremely upset.
We're going to get to that in a second.
Jaycoe did that with Port Antonio
an exclusive Instagram drop,
which if y'all think that their contracts say that,
oh, you can put it out on Instagram exclusively
and never put it on DSPs, then, hey, I don't know what to tell y'all,
because that's just not how music contracts work.
They try to get their return on investment,
and how in the world are they going to track
what the numbers are going to do on Instagram
when it's not on the platforms that they sign these artists
in the first place to put music on, right?
So anyways, Young Boy has three new tracks on YouTube.
And as you can see, missing everything
seems to be the more prominent track out of the bunch.
So whenever that's being considered,
and then you're looking at the lyrics you can just realize that people are really resonating with the way
that this man is it's just beautifully singing over the track like you know it definitely doesn't
sound like nails on a chalkboard you know it doesn't sound like something that's just ear that's
just uh very much uh disrupting to the ears right it's very soothing it's not the opposite as far as
sonically being abrasive and just being some of the worst singing
you've ever heard. That's not the case when it comes to this track, right? Of course not.
So anyways, with him trying to sing, people seem to be enjoying that. As this man said,
baby I'm a star, just can't see me. I need a reason. You repeat that three times.
Matching him Balenci's this evening for the whole season. I'll take you to shine for a bezel.
I got these ex-fittives like this PG podcast. Pop my ex-witiv. Ain't got.
nothing better or to do baby that not around and he says not around i'm a rough writer been tearing up
my town mind you he's been in probation in the mountains i need you now i'll let her go
now that's just mozart at his finest right so anyways all jokes aside i don't have a lot to say
about young boy i mean he's locked up right now i'm still wondering who's going to promote this album
I mean, is it going to be academics?
That seems to be the top tier young boy fan right now.
I mean, y'all think he's a fan of Drake.
That man went up to the mountains.
I don't know if y'all know that, but academics went up to the mountains with Youngboy.
It was just never released because, of course, he didn't want to pull a million dollars worth of game,
which if you look up, Gillian Wallow, Young Boy, watch that entire interview, and then you realize
why academics probably didn't put out the video that he captured with Young Boy.
This man is out of his mind.
Now, do his fans care?
Of course not, right?
So this man's in jail.
They just want new music.
He announced a new album.
They're acting like young boys back when the whole time he's locked up.
So that's why I'm just thinking to myself, who's going to promote this album?
This man's on the Universal Music Group, which is the biggest music label in the world.
But at the same time, academics is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, hip-hop talking head in the world currently.
So with that, you would think that would be.
enough but obviously with rappers flopping left and right i mean you would thought it was lollipop
season the way these rappers are just flopping i mean goodness i mean at some point somebody got to call it
out like somebody has to call out these rappers just continuously flopping now honestly like i just
talked about with corday just because you flop or don't sell well doesn't mean the quality of your
music isn't great i'm just pointing out analytically objectively y'all are not doing as good that you
used to do and that is something I think it's just an astute observation right so anyways um
young boy is preparing for his federal trial and of course because of him violating his probation
he's been in jail so with him being in jail his upcoming court hearing is november 18th
where they're expected to you know talk about the plea deal and what they want to do with young boy
so of course while he waits for the justice system to decide his fate we're just going to wait to see what type
of impact that this creates as three tracks that's just dropped on YouTube and
announcement of an album probably has all young boy fans excited but I still
come back to my one very simple question who is going to promote this so that
being said click my link to you in my bio let me know one of my social media is
what do you think about NBA young boy and his announcement of I just got a lot
of my shoulders and honestly do y'all think young boys getting out anytime
soon and if not do you think this album will do well analytically with him still locked up
