Starting point is 00:00:04 The trilogy of subjects is back in hip hop and guess who's bringing it to you. But then you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? If it's money, women, and jewelry, or you can swap that out for expensive things, let's just say, young boy has it covered in his latest music track titled, or music video titled Top Teens with a Z. So when it comes to control.
Starting point is 00:00:34 ain't gonna lie to you. The coverage that I've had a young boy, y'all have been supporting tremendously to the point where I had to double back and let y'all know some of the sentiments that I said in my coverage. One of the things I was talking about as far as me covering his first ever headlining tour was the name, right? I had to cover the name because I don't think a lot of people understand my sentiments. And by, I mean, they definitely understand because they're supporting like crazy but you know to make a joke once more right that's essentially what i was trying to get across this tour being titled the mass of tour is insanity i'm not going to lie to you if somebody brings you out of prison because you know he probably has some help behind the scenes whether it's
Starting point is 00:01:20 his major label wanting to get him out of prison because he can't make music from behind bars i mean i guess he could but obviously he wasn't motivated enough to do that so bringing young boy out of bringing young boy from behind bars right and him being under Motown records which is under Universal Music Group which of course is the biggest music label in the world so now you're out and the first thing you do is go on a tour titled Massa but then you know what I'm saying I was like damn look at the state of hip hop like what's going on nobody can convince me that his major label didn't have a heavy
Starting point is 00:02:01 inspiration and influence on the name for this tour and people want to say oh he's going on a master tour but is make america slime again that's the same people who's defending young thug for saying that thug stood for truly humble under god now that being said of course we're getting into top teams specifically because we're going to get into the other track that he had as far as the two pack but let's just say top teams is a very um patented hip hop track you have the music video that's also the formulaic women money expensive items all throughout the video which goes back to my original point it's almost like somebody had a blueprint for him like hey we're gonna let you get out of prison because if you don't know um young boy
Starting point is 00:02:51 was on federal house arrest he ended up doing some things that didn't uh align with what the rules were for him to be on house arrest. So they brought him back to prison, right? The reason he was on house arrest was because he dodged a sentence. So now, not only did he dodge a sentence, but he also messed up the rules and regulations on house arrest, think the young thugs situation
Starting point is 00:03:16 is Farser Rico. Like, imagine if he broke the rules and they brought him back to prison, right? So young boy is back in prison, and now he's out by, you know, the powers that be, now he's out once more, and he's on a match. ass of tour that stuff's crazy so anyways um top things is just a very patented hip hop type of track
Starting point is 00:03:38 with the hip hop subject matter um i listen to it ain't a lot to you ever since colors from mb a young boy i'm not going to say all his music sounds the same i'm just going to say it's not a lot of differentiating flows from young boy from beat to beat so do of that what you will i believe the consistent delivery from young boy on every single beat is very formulaic to the point where a lot of people are lying when it comes to the baby and little baby losing engagement because they sound the same because young boy I ain't gonna lie to you I haven't heard him switch it up drastically yet and he he's still selling like hot cakes all right pause
Starting point is 00:04:18 you guys see that's the problem so with that being said the main thing I wanted to get at was just young boy being one of the more pivotal artists in hip-hop engagement wise to the point where I raise an eyebrow when it comes to him being released from prison and expeditiously going on a tour titled massa that's all i got to say so that being said we're going to get into nb a young boy's second track and this two-pack because there's top teens and then there's other track titled fineness
