Starting point is 00:00:03 When it comes to these two particular artists, just know this is my first time ever covering them. But if you are also news to these two artists, just know, Trapa weed is from Neapolitan and he is a rapper from Scampia, known for raw drill. I wonder what protective drill is. Like, is that like gospel music? Anyways, slash trap blend using Neapolitan dialect. Now, that being said, he broke out with his debut album, Seci, C, back in 2024, and he has come out, well, he has come out to always say that he is influenced by the Italian rap figures like Gioleur, hopefully I'm saying that right, and Sefira Ibasta. So the other artist on this track is Noise, Narcos Roan Board from, Well, he's very influenced by Italian hardcore rap.
Starting point is 00:01:07 And he's been active since the 90s. So of course, when getting into these two particular artists, not going to lie to you, it was the hardest thing in the world to find information about not only the particular track we're getting into, but as far as Nefa, but also in general, when I'm getting into these artists, I like to know about their background and what they, what was their claim? to fame as far as the particular tracks that went up on the charts and let's just say it is super hard to find anything about these artists but with that being with that being said this particular track nefa is doing phenomenal and it's not on the charts but when it comes to youtube it is putting
Starting point is 00:01:51 up numbers and also is gained a lot of popularity via tictock and instagram so these are very much in underground artist as having a huge wave when you compare it to other independent buzz out there as far as no major label backing their releases so in Spotify charts as far as Italy specifically it peaked at number three early November 24 but of course in 2025 this track is still going crazy to this day running up a lot of different streams but more specifically in Italy probably one of the more mainstream rappers if you're in Italy but in worldwide a lot of people probably just haven't heard of them or this is their first time getting introduced to them so with that being said i love when i could talk about different rappers from uh all across the world because when it comes to
Starting point is 00:02:46 rap and where it started and now you see where it's branched off to and you see that all these different artists from noise nocrows to trap of weed having the success in the end industry especially this being a pivotal milestone for me a neapolitan rap you start to realize that regional dialects have an effect on people's engagement but also genres are to be expound upon as far as people in different regions take a certain genre and now your culture gets to run with it and come with their own form of that specific genre. And now that's how everybody eats as far as it getting across to the masses because now it's spread out across the world
Starting point is 00:03:36 instead of it being in a specific country or region, right? So that's the main reason I wanted to cover this. Also pointing out that the particular track by Tropaweed and Noyes Narcos titled Nefa is one of the more successful songs in the Italian rap scene. So of course, if you're in Italy and you throw on that nephah by Trapa weed and noise narcos, safe to say somebody is going to be vibing with it and somebody is going to be nodding their head along with you as this track has went crazy, but more specifically went crazy in the Italy charts.
Starting point is 00:04:18 But of course, the global reach is limited. That is why platforms like this exist as far as the notorious mass effect to let you know, who's affecting the masses from all across the world and also who's affecting the masses and specific regions that we otherwise wouldn't have known about. So when it comes to Tropawe's authentic execution on the track and of course, Nois Narcos being more of the veteran artists with him starting back in the 90s, it also creates a generational bridge. It reminds me of Will Smith and Joanna Lucas putting out their track that's all on
Starting point is 00:04:55 Will Smith's latest album. That's technically one of my favorite tracks off of his album. But that is another comparison. It's just showcasing how you can bridge that generational gap, right? As far as the Will Smith and Joyner Lucas track, Tantrum. I think that's one of the more pivotal tracks off the album. Also, he, um, Will Smith also has Russ on his track. He has Big Sean on it on a track.
Starting point is 00:05:25 as far as the album. But when it comes to an older musician collaborating with a younger musician and they're actually having some type of leeway as far as popularity and increasing in popularity in a specific region, I think that's a dub on both sides because of course in this genre as far as rap, sometimes they look at the older artists as out of touch. So I love when these older artists cross collab with the younger artists and vice versa. So for a tropper weed and noise narc. They definitely did that.
Starting point is 00:05:57 And as far as representing the Italian drill and just the potential of it, they showcase what a pivotal track, a rap track could do in the Italian in the Italy scene if it's phenomenal while also gaining commercial like success. So with that being said, click my link to my bio. Let me know on one of my social media is. What do you think about Tropaweed and noise narcos track, Nefa? And at the end of the day, will you be getting more into the Italian and rambia? rap scene now that you know a couple artists that is booming over in that specific region.
