Starting point is 00:00:03 Now, getting into an artist that I've covered several times on this podcast as far as the first time ever, it was May 24th, 2024 with the Louise R. Conriquez and Nathan Vega track, Cino-Coura's track, right? But this particular time, I wanted to focus on M&M because my latest coverage of Neatinevega was Loco. And that came out January 10th as far as my coverage of that track, right? and loco is currently the 62nd most played track in the world now when it comes to the latin music community it's apparent that when it comes to nait and vega it's just the way that he makes music it's sonically pleasing for me personally and obviously to a lot of other people he wouldn't have some of the bigger tracks not only in the world with loco being the 66 most play track in the world but also with M&M being the sixth most played track in Mexico.
Starting point is 00:01:01 So you have Loco, which is the fifth most played track in Mexico, and then right after that you have M&M, which is the sixth most played track in Mexico. So one can say that he's having a phenomenal rollout for whenever me, Vita, Mi, Morete reaches its peak, because currently is already out. But when it comes to,
Starting point is 00:01:27 the placement of the album. It's the 17th most played track, 17th most play album in the world, which is phenomenal for overseas artists. Because if you don't know, as far as RIAA certification, you need a certain amount of streams and units in U.S. to even have certification, right?
Starting point is 00:01:46 So overseas artists are always coming to U.S. major labels to distribute because they're already popular in their homeland and in their own territory, right? So now U.S. is basically, basically the last infinity stone that they need to basically say that they have one of the more global type of appeals for whenever they put out music. So me Vita, me Vita me Murrethe is
Starting point is 00:02:12 Doing phenomenal to the point where it's the 17th most play album in the world and that's just that's just a testament to Neitin Vega in his team as he's under Jose records and that's actually pretty interesting don't tell me this man's independent Jose Records music label. Let me see. Okay, so essentially, I'm not seeing any major label that Neon Vega is under, which is very peculiar because he has
Starting point is 00:02:42 the fifth and sixth most play album in Mexico, but not only that, because obviously you could be independent and chart in your own region. But having Loco be in the 66 most play track in the world, that is very interesting. As Jose Records, Huh. That is interesting. I did not know. So Jose Records is a subsidiary of Jubilee Records. Huh.
Starting point is 00:03:18 You miss a, I mean, you learn some every day in this music industry and I'm a lot to you because I have never even heard of them. Because usually they have like, oh, Latin Warner or Latin Sony or Latin UMG. This literally just says, music label. okay so essentially i just want to get into his track with m&m and basically let y'all know that his entire album is out now titled me vita me marrethe so that's a big deal because of course like i was saying he's he's one of the more popular artists in the latin music field of course along with freda virgina chino pacis and then you have of course the big dog in the latin community which is bad bunny so where it comes to that hoa hoa Jose, I don't even know how you pronounce this, I ain't not to you. This is J-O-S-A. So it's a Jose? I think it's Jose.
Starting point is 00:04:07 Records is an independent music label focused primarily on Musica Mexicana genre, a vibrant and rapidly growing segment of Latin music. Okay. So essentially it's like an independent label. That is interesting. This man is doing all these numbers being independent. That's reminiscent of Central Seas rise in this music industry. Because if you don't know, one of the best.
Starting point is 00:04:31 performances I've ever seen analytically was from Central C when all the conglomerates in the world were trying to sign him now of course now he's he's signed to a major label but before that he was really putting up numbers not comparable to superstars of course but comparable to like stars in the rap game which is funny because there are they have whole machines which you know increases the overhead you have to pay out more and here's an independent artist doing the same numbers as you with less support right so that is what I will compare this to because now with Nate and Vega doing all this independent is actually very apparent that if you have the right team that knows what they're doing, you could compete with some of the
Starting point is 00:05:11 stars and superstars in the game. Now, he's still under a label. So he's not, he's not technically independent because he's under an independent music label, right? But he still has that independent label because he's not under one of the major labels, right? Like a Warner, a Sony, or a UMG. So that's very interesting. I just want to break that down for y'all as far as them signing a lot of prominent artists. And basically, he's doing all this without being under Universal Sonia Warner. So when he comes to the entire music market share, others has 6%. And that encapsulates all this independent music label and all the independent artists.
Starting point is 00:05:56 So you have the independent music labels and the independent artists. They all accumulate up to 6% of the entire 100% of the market share. UMG has 48%. Sony has 35% and then Warner has 12%. So it goes to show you that it's very difficult to crack the Billboard Hot 100 as an independent. And Neen Vega managed to do that with the track Local, which is currently the 66 most played track in the world. And of course, he has the album, Me Vita, Morete. which is the 17th most player out in the world so with that being said click my link to
Starting point is 00:06:33 my bio let me know one of my social media is what do you think about natan vaga and the track m and also what do you think about his album me vita me marreth and if you've listened to it what is your favorite track off of the album
