Starting point is 00:00:03 Now, when it comes to the overall landscape of music, obviously a lot of artists are in captivating the masses such as Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, and Party Next Door, Drake, and Siza, right? That's the top five currently when it comes to albums. But when it comes to Latin musicians, which we're diving into for this particular segment, Nathan Vega, with his album, me, Vita, me, Marrerte is the 19th most played album in the world in totality, right? So when I'm getting into his specific track, Toto Asu Tienpo, it's very important that you keep in mind that when it comes to Mexico specifically, this man is running the charts. He's probably one of the more dominant artists in Mexico currently. This man's most popular track, Té Kiera, is the second most popular track in Mexico, right? this man has 12 tracks charting in Mexico as far as the top 50 is concerned you have marina being the fifth most play track m&M being the seventh most play track loco being the eighth most play track and then when it comes to
Starting point is 00:01:20 me vita me marrethe which is a single self-titled after the album that's the 18th most play track and keep in mind this is Mexico right um Traquita, I think that's how you say it, as a 24th most played track. And then Amigos No, which I just covered with the Oscar Mayadone's track, that's the 25th most play track because that's featuring Nathan Vega. And of course, Toto Asu, Tienpo is what we're getting into today, as far as they being the 29th most play track.
Starting point is 00:01:49 And of course, it keeps going. You have Linda, that's the 35th most play track in Mexico. Mihai Costado is the 37th most played track in Mexico. And then when it comes to, to La Patrula, that's the 41st most played track in Mexico. So, and then his last track charting in Mexico, is C, no, Kierrez, no, which is the 12th most, is the 50th most played track in Mexico. So a whopping 12 tracks on the charts, right? The reason why I'm specifically getting into the track, Toto Asu Tienpo, which is the 29th most played track in Mexico, is because I've covered
Starting point is 00:02:29 Nate and Vega a plethora times throughout the lifespan in this podcast starting in May 24th, 2024, right? So people are probably wondering, as far as the release date of this track, you are looking at the release date of this particular track, right? Because if you go to it, right, you go to Nate and Vega and you go to his track, Toto, because it's not even towards the top, because it essentially released last year. and I'm trying to get the actual release date. So September 27, 2024 is when Toto Asu Tiempo came out. You're probably wondering, how in the world in 2025 is still rising on the charts,
Starting point is 00:03:11 even more than some of his most previous work? Well, as far as the capitalizing factor, his hits like Ceno-Cierrez went number two on hot Latin songs, right? And La Petrullia with Peso Pluma gave Toto Asu Tiampo. the track we're getting into currently, are an increase in audience, because now you're cross-collaborating with other musicians in the Latin field,
Starting point is 00:03:39 and because Nate and Vega is already immensely talented, people are coming to his discography and realizing this man has plenty hits on his own, right? So that's one of the biggest things you need to know. And with this being released so far in the past, as far as September 27, 2024, it's apparent that people realize that even though you release a track now and it doesn't gain traction a week a month a year after
Starting point is 00:04:08 it can still be possible that it blows up in the aftermath view cross collaborating with other popular artists because people are going to come back to your own discography and realize hold up this is a hidden gym sharing on TikTok and things like that and now guess what now a track that you put out last year is having immense success on the charts currently in today's in today's age right so we're getting into that i think that's the biggest thing when talking about name vega just the persistence in the music industry um the hard-working nature of crafting these tracks that's in captivating the latin community and then when talking about the release strategy it being released under or via jose records and being heavily concentrated
Starting point is 00:04:59 on marketing Neaton Vega and trying to put it in a package to where it's attracting other people who are not Neaton Vega fans, you get results like this. Just the overall marketing strategy of Neaton Vega is one of those to where it's immensely impressive. And I think it has to be highlighted because him having an album charting just in the entire world, right? Now, let's go back to the broad perspective. Nate in Vega's album, Me Vita Me Morethi, is the 19th most play track in the world currently. And that's insane.
Starting point is 00:05:36 So me getting into these specific tracks leading up into why I believe he's one of the most prominent artists in Latin music community is why these type of cross-genre reviews are very important to take note to because if you don't know, when it comes to these releases, it all ties back So all these times I've been covering Neaton Vega is leading up to his Mi Vita Mi Marathi album becoming even more popular. So him having 12 tracks charting in Mexico specifically all led up to this album being the 19th most played track in the world. So huge accomplishment for Nathan Vega, but for this specific segment, also a huge accomplishment for his track, Tota Asu Tienpo, because it's the 29th most played track. in the world well in Mexico so but that being said click my link share my bio let me know one of my social media is do you think it's more of a sleeper track on natan's album and if you think
Starting point is 00:06:39 there are other tracks that people are sleeping on what do you think is the best track off of natan vegas album me vita me marrethe that's out now on all dsps
