Playboy Cardi challenged Frank Ocean via Instagram DMs and said, quote, twin, post a snippet or some.
If it's up, then it's up.
Question mark.
What?
Question mark.
You scared?
Question mark.
Now I know what I'm supposed to do with that information, but apparently Frank Ocean took that.
and ran with it as now he has shared his own snippet on instagram marking a potential return after
about i want to say four years but let me let me make sure right let me go to his actual i want to say
four years but the last time he dropped the album goodness was in 2016 so you know i'm no
mathematician that's a little bit longer than four years how about that right august 20th 2016
putting out a one-hour project
and he has disappeared ever since.
That is something right there.
Now obviously he has put out stuff like
Cayendo.
I don't know what that is.
But April 3rd, 2020 is like an acoustic SOTA
and then there's a dear April SOTA
on DSPs.
And it just says blonde it.
So I don't know if he's independent right now or what.
But with that being said,
it's a 24 second snippet of this man dancing and talking over the snippet.
So obviously, I'm a little perturbed because his fan base makes him seem like he's one of the greatest R&B artists to ever live.
And I just think that's not the case.
I was looking at his album because there's certain things, certain tracks on here that you look at and you're like, okay, well, I can see what they're talking about,
where they believe Frank Ocean is like one of the biggest or best artists when it comes to
R&B.
But then I keep going deeper and deeper.
And I'm like, well, pause, but this man don't put out music.
When do we start giving accolades and achievements to people who takes plus six years
to put out another project?
Let's talk about artists who are consistently putting out great bodies.
of work and great R&B tracks for us to consume or for our consumption because they actually
care about their fans, unlike a Frank Ocean, who just disappear and nobody knows why.
Everybody just thinks, oh, he's just being mysterious.
For six years, for six to seven plus years, he's been mysterious.
That just makes no sense.
So anyways, getting back into the original snippet, that wasn't even a snippet because he was
talking over it.
The previous month, Frank Ocean T's another cryptic snippet on Instagram with
clearer lyrics addressing a tumultuous tumultuous tumultuous i think that's how you said anyways relationship
fans have been eagerly anticipating new music especially after ocean's Coachella performance
where he hinted at an upcoming album despite delays and cancellations during Coachella
Ocean continues to surprise fans with unexpected drops including new merchandise
on his blonded site.
The merchandise, this sounds like I add at this point,
the merchandise includes a lot of other things
that I'm not gonna promote anymore.
But basically, that is following,
I say that to say this.
His last official music release was the singles
for Dear April and Kay Yendo,
which I just talked about.
So, yeah, his last album was over seven years ago
and people are still clamoring for this man's music.
I don't say how y'all do it.
I say Drake is my favorite artist for a reason.
It's because he always gives us offering.
And that man doesn't act like music takes the world.
Like, bro, artists be acting like movie directors
and how long they expect us to think their creation process takes.
Like, you're not making a movie.
There's not many moving parts.
You sit down with a producer.
You make the song.
You give it to the fans.
That's literally it.
It's a reason why when movies and TV shows,
shows went to streaming services.
People went on strike.
Compared to when hip hop
and just music in general
went to streaming services, people were like, oh,
this is a come-up. It's a reason for that.
So anyways, I don't see how
y'all still out here caping for Frank Ocean.
A man that has left y'all in the dust
for seven plus years. But hey,
teach his own, right? So anyways,
click my link to hear in my bio. Let me know
on one of my social medias. What do you think about
Frank Ocean, just disappearing whenever he
wants to and not carrying a lick?
about his fan base and also if he did put out the album would you be giving it a listen
