Ladies and gentlemen, let me just start off by dropping a bomb. As when it comes to this upcoming weekend, your boy, analytic dreams was invited to a specific event in New York. Now, what is that event you might ask? Well, I can't tell you just yet. But, you know, hey, when it comes to that, I will tell you one of the events I will be going to as New York Comic-Con is currently going on, not currently, but it's about to go on as far as, October 9th through October 12th. And with that being said, the theme is hashtag haunted. Now, I had no idea.

But of course, I did some journalistic due diligence as far as looking up certain things about this event because I'm essentially going for the event I was invited for, which is besides, is aside from this event. But in general, wanted to make a whole intro for the New York Comic Con while also letting you know some of the info surrounding the. convention if you're going yourself. So of course sit back and relax as we're going to get into some of the great details about New York Comic-Con. But then you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look-

So you know when it comes to Nikki and Onika Tanya Mirage, she's obviously a New York legend. But when it comes to the pop culture scene, New York Comic-Con that launched in 2006 is North America's most attended pop culture event. And not only does it have 200,000, thousand plus fans annually since 2017 which peaked in 260,000 in 2019 but now it outpaces San Diego Comic-Con as far as their hundred and thirty five thousand cap you guys so now when you look at it as far as revenue because you already know I'm a Hall of Fame pocket watcher I know that ain't who I think it is so I looked at the convention and I said to myself I know that ain't who I think ladies and gentlemen New York Comic-Con is

bringing in $80 million as far as an estimated economic impact for NYC, ranked as the ninth most popular art event globally. And of course, that was certified by Forbes and, of course, today you gov. Because, you know, I always have to say my, well, I don't always say my sources. Sometimes I just say I made it up, right? I love doing that. Anyways, when it comes back to New York Comic-Con, Um, essentially speaking, it's one of the biggest pop culture events in the world.

So even though this is not the event, I really had my sights on as far as what I was invited to, it's definitely adjacent of that. And with that being said, I definitely wanted to go to the events and someone be in the same area. And as far as a special event, I still haven't let y'all know exactly what I got invited to. And that's because that leads into my next point. This is the intro to my New York vlog in general. Yes, you heard me correctly. general ladies and gentlemen so when it comes to new york comic-con i'm also going to be giving a

vlog i'm new york um as a as a as a specific you know this is a specific area i'm a vlog in obviously i can't say it because of course you know i ain't trying to docks myself you know by the time you see this i will be in new york running around with master splinters oh my fault that's the wrong drop ain't it won't they do no no that's my rap drop i don't know why it sound like young thug anyways um when it comes to the different locations in new york we're going to be vlogging that and of course make sure to subscribe to nm e plus via my link tree in my bio is towards the top as when it comes to additional vlogging elements such as new york in general and extra parts of new york comic on it will be

exclusively for nm e plus but you will be able to see more of a um a edited version of each area as far as the entire vlog because they're vlogging in new york but vlogging for the New York Comic Con and of course with vlogging for the special event I got invited to but of course I'm not going to let you know what that is yet I wanted it to be more of a surprise you know what I'm saying so when it comes to New York Comic Con getting back into the overall details of it for people

who's actually attending in person just know the venue is Jacob K. Javitt's Convention Center on a 429 11th Avenue in Manhattan New York and when it comes to that obviously already says from October 9th to the 12th if you go to the website it's sold out

so yeah if you was one to look at I mean you could technically go Thursday right as far as Thursday as you can see right here oh L tech guy hold up there we go as you can see right here is effectively sold out so

so Saturday in history you guys see that's the problem but you know hey at least I was able to let you know that you can still buy a ticket for Thursday you know what I'm saying? Shepard. All right, my fault. All right, let's get back to it. So when it comes to the overall event, it's essentially sold out. Only Thursday is available for tickets, which is happening

in what, two days? So people who is already going, this is going to be more beneficial for you. So when it comes to the overall venue, just no major IPs and brands is going to be there such as Marvel, DC, of course, Funko. I heard Funko. I heard Funko. goes crazy at this convention. I'm a see for myself, but you know, as far as a fungal pop, I do have a funco pop myself, I believe. Yeah, I have one right here. Hold on. Actually, in reach distance, ain't that crazy. Hold on. Let me show y'all my little funkal pop, you know, for anybody who cares. I'll tell you I'm a nerd. Look, look, look at this. Y'all like that, which I think. A little, uh, and I think, um, I forget about the developers of Midnight Suns, but they sent it

to me before the game. So that, shout out to them. Yeah, so they send me this. Um, So that was pretty cool. But as far as the Funko Pops, you know, I'm very much aware of them. So, and when it comes to my, you know, research of the convention, because you know, I was research before I go. There's a lot of people saying that Funko Pop section is always like the line is looped around. So they had to move it as far as the floor because it was blocking the entrance or whatever. So anyway, that's a little like in-depth detail as far as people who's going to the convention. You know what I'm talking about are people who's been to the convention in the previous years.

then of course you have capcom hasbro and of course a plethora of other just famous IPs notorious IPs that of course have been affected the masses for quite some time and of course you have exclusive merch with these specific exhibitors but the events there's cosplay central crown championships and that's happening Saturday there's a lot of autographs slash photo ops happening throughout this convention panel screenings fan meetups and When it comes to artist, Ali, and Riders Block, I heard that it's something that you should not sleep on as an attendee to this specific convention. And when it comes to comic legends, you have Scott Snyder, Daniel Warren, Johnson, Chris Claremont, and then you have artists slash writers such as Weather del Adera,

I think that's how you say it, Wendy and Richard Pini. And then you have authors such as R.L. Stein, Veronica Roth, and Cammy Garcia. Now, I'm not going to read off everybody, but those are some of the top names that I searched up as far as out of 600 plus creators. So I felt it was very fair to list off those names, as they seem to be one of the biggest standouts as far as the convention. And of course, you have your film and TV, you have authors and creators from your George R. R. Martin to Jim Lee to film a TV such as Bryce Dallas Howard, Elliot Page, Nicholas Holt. And of course, when it comes to the Walmart section, because of course, you know, I had to, hey, you know, 4-7-9 stand up. You feel me? Shepherd.

All right, my fault. I was just trying to get a little, you know, try to get a little hometown love off. Anyway, so that being said, Walmart, it has a whole section at New York. Comic-Con and of course it's launch time to 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. on both days as far as October 9th and 10th. Oh yeah, because it's only going to be there on October 9th and October 10th. So for people who's want to see the Walmart section in the convention, Walmart is only being there from October 9th to October 10th as far as the Collector Con. And it's a parallel online event tied to New York Comic Con 2025 so i guess that's not to get confused with the actual um exhibitor station for walmart i think that's going to be there the entire convention but walmart collector car which is a separate

parallel online event tied to new york comic con it's going to be happening from october 9th to the 10th and you have key brand lines such as hash bros mcfarlane matel uh n e c a i guess that's the creators and a mutant ninja turtles i think anyways um Pokemon except etc and then of course when it comes october 7 through the 12 Walmart's fall savings event that's happening right now i was wondering why i kept seeing now on my phone i was like hold on now black friday black friday not even close to happening yet but now it makes sense october 7 to the 12th walmart's fall savings event is going on right now if you have the walmart app i'm 100% you've already seen what i'm talking about i mean it just pops up as soon as you open the app. You could be opening the app to check the status of your order,

and they're just going to show you the Walmart Fall Savings event just because they feel like it. So with that being said, expect unlisted surprise drops, especially Star Wars exclusives. So for people looking out for that, now you know. When it comes to venue and experience, always know that when you look at the subway and bus access is centrally located. And accessibility has centrally located with subway and bus access. and then of course always use the new york comic con app for real time maps and updates and schedules so if you don't know if you want real time what's happening in the convention just use the new york comic con app and that being said that's essentially it so a nice little informative sector as far as this segment because of course the main thing was me just letting you know i am going to be vlogging in new york i'm going to be vlogging in new york i'm going to be vlogging in new york comic con and of course i will be in the special event I'm not going to let you know yet.
