Starting point is 00:00:00 Coming up with a name for your group, landing on new jeans and being signed to a major label called Ador. The jokes just right itself, man. The jokes just write itself. But anyways, new jeans is a group. Five members is a girl group. And it's a combination of new and genes, G-E-N-E-S. And of course, the major label, well, the independent label, not really too major, that they're assigned to is called Ador, A-D-O-R. Now, of course, I had to make that joke because the jokes, of course, tries itself.

Starting point is 00:00:49 With K-pop being the newest phenomenon in modern music culture, with their debut album, debut album selling as much as it did selling 311,000 copies first week making them the highest selling debut album by a K-pop girl group in history because I don't want the BTS cold like fan base to come after me these type of achievements means that the next time you drop the whole world is going to be waiting and a door may be open now i'm just playing my fault my fault y'all can throw y'all tomatoes i just have to make that joke i had to make that joke all right my fault but anyways basically new jeans is back again with the new track titled cool with you and they actually have a music video if you want to do the champagne poppy route and watch it on mute but i would not advise that as these type of uh musicians are

Starting point is 00:01:57 pretty nice when it comes to quality driven pop bass melodic driven choruses so anyways uh cool with you is a is a very solid song of course with me i may not understand everything about k pop but i do know a nice melody when i hear it and of course the group appears on what is going to um have this track on the forthcoming EP titled Get Up. And it also features songs titled New, okay, so they actually have a song titled New Jeans. I'm not being funny. They have another track called Super Shy, ETA, Get Up, and A-Sap.

Starting point is 00:02:50 And a music video for New Jeans will be released, well, it was already released earlier this month. if you wanted to know the names of the girls that well it makes up this group it's um men mingi all right pronunciations are going to be butchered mingy honey Danielle heron hyene

Starting point is 00:03:17 like hyene let me for my fault the group made his debut in July uh 2022 and they've already set some phenomenal standards as far as a girl K-pop group. Because if you don't know, there's a bunch of K-pop groups out there. There's Black Pink. There's

Starting point is 00:03:38 that's literally, that's all I know, man. There's Black Pink and now there's New Jeans who signed to A Door. I'm not going to lie. After I learned that fact, I'm never going to let you all unhear it ever in life. So yeah, man, that's basically it. That's all I really have. I just wanted to let you know that this group is running up the charts because every time, every time they drop, they make a big impact. If not in Korea, definitely in the United States because 311,000 first week, somebody is listening to this music outside of their own country. So, yeah, what else?

Starting point is 00:04:22 definitely a surprising group nonetheless and especially the independent label that they're assigned to who knows man we'll see how this group keeps going in the future because I am I'm just flabbergasted on how like quickly how quick the rise to fame the rise to fame was
