Starting point is 00:00:00 I find it interesting how the poll for whatever track was going to win as far as the one that she released. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm looking at it right now that was released October 12, 2023, 5.1 million views. And Juice World won with 44.5% with the closest one coming to 34.8 and Bam Bam coming to 20.7. So maybe I'm out of the loop. But what poll did she put up? to put Bam Bam out. Like, she was like, hey, forget y'all poll.
Starting point is 00:00:35 I'm just going to put out the complete opposite on what y'all voted for, right? Obviously, somebody voted for Bam Bam as it wouldn't have gotten 20% if somebody didn't want it, right? But I do want to say that it's one of the tracks along with last time I saw you, Super Freaky Girl and Red Ruby on the Sleeves. So when Nikki said that it's more of a bop before Pink Friday, I think she's doing something that a lot of artists don't do. She's tempering expectations. She's letting you know that it's just a regular track.
Starting point is 00:01:09 It's not really one of those that she throws out that she thinks is the one. Obviously, she thought super freaky girl was the one, and that ended up being, like, one of her best tracks ever, statistically. But now, with these throwaways, quote-unquote, she's tempering expectations so her fans don't get upset, which I think is very smart. And the amount of releases alongside it, like her official shot, her releasing merch off of Friday the 13th. And basically, it's been so much promotion going up for this album that I do believe that this will go down in history as Nikki Minaj's best album of all time.
Starting point is 00:01:53 Now, I know a lot of people are probably like, that's blasphemous or whatever. But, you know, to quote my man Stephen A. Smith. At the end of day, Nicky Minaj doesn't really have a bona fide classic from a general perspective. People acknowledge Nikki as one of the greatest rappers to ever do it, man or woman, right? Album-wise, I've never heard Nikki's name in the conversation. Now, whether that's overlooking her, maybe it is. For me, I've listened to enough Nicki Minaj music to know that her album,
Starting point is 00:02:27 aren't necessarily a reflection of how well she can rap, right? When I think of how well she can rap, usually is when she's outwrapping the rappers on the own track. For example, Monster, when she had that verse. For example, a lot of other, I forget the track, I think it was the track with, all the tracks with Drake and Little Wayne. I forget which one, but they have a bunch.
Starting point is 00:02:54 Basically, she showcases that she can hang and surpass some of the best rappers to ever do it so that's why i have nicky up there in my top 10 as one of the best rappers ever rap so with that being said for this album i'm very much looking forward to it um the juice world thing was interesting because i'm looking right here maybe there was another poll that i'm not aware of but juice world won this poll by a landslide and for her to put out bam bam it's very interesting how that works so um what else she did say minage well niki minage confirmed that Pink Friday 2 would be released November 17th along with a tour and last time I saw you and Super Freaky Girl made history as Minaj's third career number one on Billboard Hot 100.
Starting point is 00:03:45 I think Nikki Minaj wouldn't have called this Pink Friday 2 if it wasn't for the success of Super Freaky Girl because this is different levels that she's never achieved as an artist. and she's been around in this game for centuries, but not centuries, but you know, you know what I mean. She's been in this game for a long time. So to put up these numbers to break her, what seemed like her ceiling, to break that with Super Freaky Girl,
Starting point is 00:04:13 I understand why she calls this Pink Friday, too. And I, for one, am very excited for this album to come out, November 17. So click my link to you in my bio. Let me know one of my social medias. What do you think about the whole polling situation with Juice World winning, but her just deciding to put out Bam Bam. And do you think that she'll put out these other two singles
Starting point is 00:04:33 in the next coming week, in the follow-up weeks, to Pink Friday, too?
