Analytic Dreamz: Notorious Mass Effect - "NINTENDO DIRECT: PARTNER SHOWCASE 7.31.2025"

Starting point is 00:00:01 So when it comes to the Nintendo direct, we have to note that not only did they showcase Star Wars Outlaws, but they also showed how certain titles are coming back to the Switch as far as Madden NFL 26, returning to the Nintendo platform as far as EA Sports FC coming to the Switch 2 on September 26 of this year. then you have plants versus zombies replanted you have chronos the new dawn safe to say there was a lot showcased in this nintendo direct so this specifically as far as people who are not a not aware of the nintendo direct that's what this is for as just letting you know what was shown throughout the roughly 25 minutes showcase and if you don't know when it comes to the showcase this is more of a reaction because i'm just going over the overview this is not a deep dive i'm just showcasing

Starting point is 00:00:56 what was showcased at the Nintendo direct. Because when it comes to Nintendo, that is one thing I was wanting to show you out. Starting point is 00:01:16 with Mario Kart World, with Donkey Kong, Bananza, they ultimately may be taking over gaming in the year of 2025, which is why I titled the next, episode that's set to come out soon is nintendo taking over gaming in 2025 shepherd just look at the state of gaming like what is going on so ultimately this is more of a reaction but i'm also letting you know what all went on throughout the nintendo direct as when it comes to

Starting point is 00:02:33 there of course um that being said let's get into the pacman gameplay right now remember analytic dreams video on spotify to see the video along with the audio welcome to the party pac man mhm is coming back remade from scratch through forests or on ice use packtastic moves to clear stages in style and even take on powerful bosses now the first thing i notice is that it's always great to take certain inspiration from certain IPs that do it consistently great as far as the delivery so i'm not saying that they're copying mario i'm just saying that i'm very i'm glad that they're taking a lot of inspiration from a Mario type game and giving it to Pac-Man because I believe that Pac-Man is one of those

Starting point is 00:03:28 type of characters that's always going to have immense respect put on his name so they give it a Mario type of gameplay mechanic loop and letting the Pac-Man connoisseurs and avid fans of Pac-Man play this type of game I think they're going to enjoy it so from the eye test it looks pretty solid plus now you can adventure with a pal in local co-op oh and you got a co-op Repack launches on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch September 26th. Pre-orders begin later today on Nintendo e-shop. Now, I'm not going to lie to you, that was the biggest W I've seen as far as what I read, as far as what they showed throughout the Nintendo Direct.

Starting point is 00:04:10 So ultimately, there was a lot of other game showcase. The one that piqued my interest the most was the Pac-Man World Repack 2, which, as you can see right here, is coming out, September 26, 20. 25 and then going over some of the other showcases they had sonic cross sonic racing cross worlds that they ultimately said um is confirmed for the switch two with the full game on cartridge though the details were sparse because one of the things i know about the switch interestingly enough is that even though they just put out a new console this year some of the hardware is still not a to date for certain um ports as far as console only games because the nintendo switch two the nintendo switch two is not as powerful as far as certain consoles that came out 10 years ago

Starting point is 00:05:08 so now you're thinking about it why would we put our game on hardware that's not even the previous generation as far as hardware as far as console so ps4 xbox 1 um Xbox series x Not series. I think it's the Xbox one. That was the last one before the Series X. Those two consoles as far as the PS4 and the Xbox one, that type of hardware is comparable to the Nintendo Swiss 2, but it's still more powerful than Nintendo Swiss 2.

Starting point is 00:05:38 So now putting out a console in the year of 2025, being compared to the console that came out, what, 2015 or 20? When did the PS4 come out? Because that's what people swear that the PS4 just came out yesterday, the way that people are still playing that. Let me say release date. So, oh my goodness.

Starting point is 00:05:58 The PS4 guys came out in 2013. Safe to say, in the year of 2025, we should not be comparing any current hardware specs to the PS4. That's just my opinion. Now, when it comes to the Nintendo Switch 2, a lot of people are saying that the auto consoles are still more powerful than the Switch. So it's like, how are these ports going to happen and not have people make fun of it as, let me see. y'all remember when i think it's right here yeah yeah i remember the more to combat one game right i know a lot of people stopped playing that but as far as nintendo port we got we got to talk about it because that game looks straight up atrocious because i don't know what they was doing they tried

Starting point is 00:06:42 but they ultimately failed ladies gentlemen look at the comparison right here as you can see as you can see and this is even this is Twitter quality so it makes it look even worse so um okay this is a little better so as you can see right here the switch and granted this is the original switch but this is ultimately how the switch two uh compares to the current hardware as far as consoles so if you're wondering why do developers not put their games on the switch platform this is exactly why they're thinking to themselves you know we cultivate it a certain quality level for the current gen consoles and now Nintendo wants us to port it to their console and now it looks like this. Shepard, just look at the state of gaming like what is going

Starting point is 00:07:35 on. So anyways, as you can see right here, it's a huge downgrade from console to switch, which is why when you come back to the Nintendo Direct and they're showcasing all of these games that's going to come to Nintendo, whether it's Madden NFL 26, whether it's EA, Sports FC 26, whether it's other console games coming to the switch, whether it's Sonic Racing Cross Worlds, I think that can actually work because racing games in that aesthetic obviously works, as you've seen with Mario Kart.

Starting point is 00:08:06 But realistic games like Madden and NFL, even Star Wars Outlaws that was announced to come to the Switch 2 on September 4th, like how is that going to run on the current hardware? I'm not trying to sound like the Switch 2 hardware is outdated or ancient, but it's not even close to what we have. currently with the PS5 with the Xbox series X-N-S it's a lot of console parity that's going on as far as

Starting point is 00:08:32 between the the switch two and the current console so I didn't do this Nintendo I didn't cover this Nintendo direct to just dunk on Nintendo I'm just letting y'all know don't get your hopes up for certain console games to come to the Swiss 2 because of these certain announcements so that was the main thing he's more of a reaction but of course I had a little deep dive into it so as far as all of the announcements for the nintendo swiss two just know that is 25 minutes in length roughly and ultimately that did showcase a lot of different things i think people would maybe be excited about but for me and the biggest thing i saw that was uh impressive or just piquing my interest was definitely the pacman world uh to repack or repack i forget it's not it's definitely not
