Starting point is 00:00:03 Noah Kahan is back with a whole new project and by whole new, I mean, it's technically not the newest, but this specific version is live from Fenway Park. Now, of course, this was announced to come out today. So it is out on all DSPs via Mercury Records slash Republic Records. And its performances live, of course, from Kahan's multi-platinum stick season. album. So for my hip-hop fans out there and enthusiasts out there, no, this is not a key Glock album. This is actually from the country genre. And if you don't know, stick season is very impactful as far as the specific track stick season, go figure, as that's been on the track on the charts for about 47 weeks, the 39th most played track in the world. And it peaked at number nine. So as far as
Starting point is 00:01:00 success. Noah has seen so much success from this album and him being under UMG is just another accomplishment under his belt as far as the major label is considered because definitely selling 37,000 which he did this week with it already being out for about 47 weeks. What a song was out for 47 weeks. I actually don't know when the actual the album's been out since October 4th, 2022. Now, it probably wondering how in the world is this album doing so well when it came out in 2022 well the actual stick season forever came out in February 9th of this year but the difference is something of what I cannot tell you I don't know what the difference is between stick season 22 and six season forever I'm just thinking it's the deluxe but nevertheless it's still successful
Starting point is 00:02:00 on the charts as it's a lot of deep emotional thoughts being expressed on this album and him just releasing his live rendition of course performing at fenway park is just showcasing how that specific location has really helped him as far as inspiration because one of the biggest things about this is that the collaborations with kelsey james bay and a lot of just other artists at various festivals as far as in the past and in the future with the fall 2024 being considered is that this man is connecting with his fans in a way that not so many artists can because the amount of success garnered by noa has been earned throughout multiple songs multiple albums i mean if i look at his discography he's been putting out music since 2017 so safe to say this year is probably his
Starting point is 00:02:55 most successful when we're talking about numbers but quality wise i don't think i'm the person to give a review over his music because i don't really listen to noah like that it's just apparent that i point out the heavy hitters on the charts so with noah that's basically what he's doing with stick season and the name stood out to me of course because i was just thinking man another rapper talking about spinning a block but to my surprise it was a country artist so with that being said the NOAA fans out there are probably wondering well what's in store for noah in the future so as far as September being considered September 14th he will be co-headlining um Springsteen's atlantic city and a PBS special celebrating springsteen's Nebraska album so as far as about that um this other festival well
Starting point is 00:03:54 other than that there's other festivals that he'll be doing and you know certain festivals that he will be co-headlining along with the likes of uh the gaslight anthem uh nor nor nor jones i think that's how you say it and the black crows type of name so anyways uh that's basically all the half of noah the biggest thing is just to update their uh his fans on his specific standing in the industry and having the eighth most play album in the world with stick season is not a easy accomplishment to say the least
Starting point is 00:04:32 so for that definitely his fans can celebrate because they definitely helped him out as far as the statistical achievements but as far as quality wise y'all have to let me know because even though it's more of a country album a lot of a different songs especially this one has certain like acoustic uh guitars with lively banjo basically evolving into a staring ballad so is different as far as the specific genre of
Starting point is 00:05:02 country is considered but he's also getting a lot of themes across in his own personal life such as struggles and adapting the pain and seeking solace a lot of things that you know the average everyday person is going through so the biggest thing with noah is that if you want to catch him in concert he's been doing a plethora of concerts, which is why he even put out this live project from Fenway, because I'm thinking that the biggest way to captivate an audience is to let them know that the music that they listen to on DSPs when they see you live, the quality is not a significant drop-off. And on other hand, it's actually improved upon. So I like that fact that he's actually showcasing how his live music is just as good as his
Starting point is 00:05:50 recorded music that's put out on DSP. So that's definitely something to hang your hat on as a lot of artists. Whenever they perform, it does not sound like the music that they record and put out on DSP. So shout out to Noah for that. But as far as the quality of the album, click by link, Turing my bio, let me know in one of my social medias. If you're a heavy, you know, hardcore Noah Kahan fan, let me know what is your favorite track from Noah Kahans' stick season.
Starting point is 00:06:20 Thank you.
