Starting point is 00:00:03 Now at first, when you hear Stick season, you're probably thinking to yourselves, especially on a hip-hop-centric platform, that 21 Savage probably just dropped a new album, right? But of course, when covering the whole landscape of music, we're getting into broader spectrums as far as genres. So we're specifically focusing on Noah Cahan. I think that's how you say his name. I don't even know. Noah Kahan. I think that's how you say it. But anyways, he put out an album titled Stick Season based off of the track stick season.
Starting point is 00:00:46 And it's so funny because not only the Stick Season remind me of 21 Savage simply because of the stick double entendre that's used by rappers 24-7. But also, the addition of... of being number one on the UK singles chart and being the longest running number one single in the UK in 2024 also reminds me of 21 Savage to the point where I'm like is this 21 Savage's burner account like beyond ignorant is probably what I sound like right now because Noah Cahan putting out stick season and being a number one on the UK charts I mean goodness 21 Savage needs to make a disc track already for this man because he's taking his whole flow, his whole wave blowing up in a place where everybody says that 21 Savage grew up in, which obviously that's not true because he came over in the States in like age nine or 10. But you know, for jokes purposes, we're just going to say that 21 Savage needs to release Noah this track.
Starting point is 00:02:00 Now, of course, to go along with that, the extension. the charts that I have is basically slating stick season at number 19 and some of the biggest things that stands out to me is the airplay now I believe that's radio and radio and broadcast studios basically promoting this song to the high heavens as 43 million of this of these total streams has came from airplay and I find it interesting that some of the biggest airplay goes to specific artists and not others but hey that's another discussion for another day because if you look at the numbers I mean it just jumps out at you 41.1.9 million as far as airplay for Post Malone and Morgan Wallin with
Starting point is 00:02:54 their track 74.4 million think about that airplay which is radio broadcasting so these are just companies pushing this song for Teddy swims lose control 64.2 million for Benson Boone beautiful things 51.8 million for Joseir too sweet 40 53.6 million for Ariana Grande we can't be friends and then you get to obviously you have to go lower on the list but then you get to 38.2 million Noah Cahan for stick season. Now the only reason I bring up this point heavily is the fact that a lot of other
Starting point is 00:03:41 tracks seemingly don't get this amount of love when it comes to airplay. I mean 1.5 million airplay for Kendrick Lamar's Euphoria. I mean I get it's a disc track but goodness like that is crazy. 15.9 million airplay for Shibuzzi who has a hit song that's in the top four, top five. I find it very interesting, you know, 20 million airplay for Kendrick's Not Like Us, which is literally one of the biggest hip-hop songs currently. It's a pedophile anthem, so that, you know, I'm not giving too much credence. But as far as the other ones I named, you can kind of see where I'm going at with this whole airplay and radio pushing certain artists more than others.
Starting point is 00:04:26 But, you know, hey, that's a story for another day, right? I mean, at least Siza, you know, is accepted with her. 53.6 million as far as airplay was Saturn that's already been proven to be a classic but you know that's besides a point so um i just wanted to focus on this track because of course that amount of airplay you know definitely helps out when it comes to the overall charts and it's definitely helping out as this track is projected to be number 19th on the charts and of course it's extended charts so obviously it could change but as far as what people are currently consuming as far as masses they have uh noah khan definitely all the way up there i wonder if it's like khan a khan it has to be
Starting point is 00:05:11 kind of i don't know i mean i could literally look it up and then pronounce it correctly but i don't feel like it right now so another thing i wanted to touch on real quickly is ballerini and kahan performed their hits at the acm awards which i forgot what that stands for the acm awards the ACM Awards in Frisco, Texas. Yeah, I still don't know what it stands for. But anyways, they played their hits, came out, perform. Obviously, a lot of people enjoyed the performances as ballerini was nominated for album of the year with her track rolling up the welcome mat.
Starting point is 00:05:51 And also she won female artists of the year. So pretty straightforward to why she showed up. I mean, if you're winning, you know, hopefully you would show up to the award show. so that was nice and then of course it featured another a lot of other artists and performances like cane brown Miranda Lambert post Malone things of that nature so kate kahan also said that he's working on new material and teased unreleased songs during his live performance which is interesting because i believe he just put this album out like if i went to because he put out a whole album under the title stick season which she shows you how successful this track is
Starting point is 00:06:31 is but he put it out under UMG basically like 30 tracks two hours of content like goodness like he's a content creator at that point putting out two hours of music on one project is insane but hey i wonder what his fans think about it because obviously for Chris brown fans they love when he puts out a lot of music so maybe he has that type of fan base where he could just throw out a plethora of songs and everybody's going to flock towards it so that's all i have for kahan at the end of day all I got to say is for radio broadcast studios out there just show a little bit more love to you know what I'm saying to the people
Starting point is 00:07:08 you know what I'm saying when we're talking about airplay charts and maybe those numbers will start to look different because right now they're getting heavily supported by radio airplay but hey with that being said click my link tree in my bio let me know in one of my social medias what do you think about Noah Kahan stick season track and at the end of the day if you're a Noah fan what is your favorite track from him
Starting point is 00:07:29 Thank you.
