Starting point is 00:00:04 Now here I am enjoying my Juneteenth with family. And then come to realize that not only was there a kerfuffle bubbling up in the black community, but it was from one of the greatest hip-hop cultures, hip-hop couples of all time and hip-hop culture. You know, shout to the Migos with their whole run that was Migos 1, 2, and 3. So anyways, the reason I say that is because Offset has a new track title of Bodies. Now, I do believe when it comes to Offset being more of a swag rapper, you can't really make a disc track at all. It's not in your lane.
Starting point is 00:00:44 You can't become a lyrical rapper overnight. So a bar here and there about people wanting smoke and then them are just the masses attributing that to Stefan Diggs, I just find beyond hilarious. because really this is just how Offset Raps. Like, he just wraps like this in general. I mean, what Migo's rap have you heard that didn't talk about killing somebody? I mean, now everybody's like, oh, he's dissing Stefan Diggs. I'm like, hold on now. I'm looking at the whole Migo's discography.
Starting point is 00:01:14 And if that's the case, Stefan B being dissed, Stefan being diss before he got to the NFL. So anyways, the reason why I say that is because Cardi B is the one that's ultimately battling it out with Offsett. I've already covered outside by Cardi B, so if you want to in depth in coverage of that, just type in Cardi B, Analytic Dreams with a Z, and my coverage should pop up. But as far as bodies and the quality level of the track, I think he definitely knew what he was doing, putting this track out on the same, at the same time that Cardi B put out outside. It's almost as if they're both sides to something that clearly. inform one another when the release they could have been so now this whole kerfuffle has bubbled up
Starting point is 00:02:02 to a head where now we have offset versus cardi b on one side you have cardi b and stephan digs with their track outside obviously stephan's not on the track but it makes it even better because when carty b says she's outside you go to the i g and you see who's behind her as far as stephan digs doing you know what then you come to realize it puts a lot more credence on that specific track i always say when it comes to being an artist. If people believe your story, the track that attaches to that story is that much more high quality
Starting point is 00:02:35 as far as compared to other tracks because now people believe your story, you're rapping about your story, people want to play outside while outside because now they believe your entire persona. Not to say they didn't believe you in the past, but now seeing the Cardi B and Stefan dig photos, I mean goodness, as a man,
Starting point is 00:02:56 in society that has to make your stomach do an indefinite amount of cartwheels and especially you don't even go to the toilet after you see those type of videos I mean it's just goodness gracious like God be with us all but anyways um
Starting point is 00:03:15 offset he has a tractile of bodies and I think this is a great strategy I think I said this when Cardi B I think I said this when covering Cardi B's outside track. I think Offset should either ignore it or used as a marketing promotion and go at it like Kendrick versus Drake. And seemingly, he's doing exactly what I was saying. Put out a track the same day the Cardi B puts it out, even if she crushes you in numbers, people are at least going to check it out because now instead of, oh, have you heard that new track from Cardi? Now the conversation is,
Starting point is 00:03:48 oh, have you heard Cardi and Offs's distances towards each other? Now it just became a whole battle, right? and both fewer streams are going to increase. Now, from a baseline, without the inflation of a beef, Cardi will obviously outsell offset. Now, legacy-wise, as far as hip-hop, offset is much higher on a totem pole than Cardi because of his tenure with the Migos and people forget. Cardi B, been rapping for a minute.
Starting point is 00:04:16 Until Offset, until Offs stepped into the picture, that's when she took off. I'm not saying that he did everything. I just find it interesting. Offset gets with you Now you get signed to QC And then lo and behold You just found a hit
Starting point is 00:04:32 So Offset helped out Cardi B's career a lot Which is probably why they have three children together She was probably very grateful for that With that being said They completely hate each other now So you know that's very Interesting how to Todd's turn Can it ain't it just very interesting
Starting point is 00:04:48 How different chapters of a book Can be completely different bodies is a very solid track the main thing i wanted to talk about from a quality perspective from bodies is that the vibe of the track i think matches the energy that's surrounding the cardi beat and offset beat but also the outside track by cardi b is also matching the energy as far as the cardi b versus offset beef because when it comes to the summer anthems and people believe in both of y'all stories now. The quality level has to be at a certain point, but people would give a little credence
Starting point is 00:05:24 if it wasn't at that level as far as high quality. Safe to say, bodies, opposite, and JID were putting together a phenomenal summer anthem without the world knowing. And now the world knows because this track from start to finish is a movie because people who don't even know what's going on between office and Cardi B would say this track is fired. But now that you know what's going on and the whole fiasco that's happening right now as we speak,
Starting point is 00:06:01 bodies is 10 times more enjoyable because he's rapping about something that's going on as we speak and it's very interesting to see how it's going to play out. That's all I wanted to say. I'm going to get more of a deep dive when I'm back at my home setup. Like I said, hanging out with the fan. and Juneteen and black people out here acting the fool ain't that ain't that about it you know what I'm saying like ain't that that's crazy so um with Cardi B I'm gonna get into her album coverage whenever she gives more information about it
Starting point is 00:06:31 I've already covered outside so I'm not just gonna talk about that again I basically my sentiment about that offset essentially did I talked about how offset could ignore it or match energy for energy and go on some Drake and Kendrick type of back and forth for tracks because Cardi unequivocally is the bigger star right now in But of course, I think with cultural cashier, you will always have more than Cardi B. So with that being said, click my link to you in my bio. Let me know on one of my social media is. What do you think about offsets track bodies? What do you think about outside by Cardi B? And at the end of the day, whose side are you on?
