Now it's time to get into Mr. Falcon Punch himself.
I mean, we're getting into Offset.
That's what it is.
Offset.
It's my fault.
But, you know, when it comes to Officer and his success,
safe to say that him standing alongside Gunner is something that a lot of artists in the hip-hop game would not do.
But of course, for Offset, it played out in his favor as the track, at my purist,
by Gunner featuring Offset is currently the 72nd most played track in the world.
Now, when it comes to that, I will say,
I'm very surprised to see that the track bodies did not have some staying power on the hot 100.
Now, I'm not saying that bodies should have been a top 10 hit.
I'm just surprised to not see it at all in the top 100.
And saying that is because I cover the entire music industry.
Covering analytics, I have to reiterate that just because something does not sell a lot,
does not mean that is absolute garbage.
And just because some sells more than everything else does not mean this.
the best thing to slice bread right the two do not correlate sales quality does not correlate
the reason why i say that is it's because we're about to get into a particular track that i think
has the most staying power as far as on the charts if he does it and executes it right
there's a specific track off of this upcoming album kiari is how you say it kiari that's
offset's real name ain't no way that's how you actually pronounce that his real name's kiari
he never got into a real rap battle that's crazy let me see um key rv i guess he'd be falcon punching people
so it really don't even matter if they call him that huh it really is kiari you learn some every
day i'd be calling rappers by the real government name too that's wild anyways so kiari
no i just playing offset is releasing his album kiari after his real name um set to come out
august 22nd so we are right there as far as
it coming out soon.
Ultimately, the main thing I wanted to talk about before the album is his track
move on.
It's because he came out and literally revealed that this is talking about his split with
Cardi B, which is something that Joe Button and off of the Joe Button podcast asked them
specifically.
And I don't think I've said answered it.
So, and good for, you know, that podcast because ultimately when it comes to the questions,
you know, literally he asked what track can we get the T on?
wasn't specific i don't know if cardy's name was mentioned once during that offset interview which of
course at the end of the day the way that he was talking i don't think he would have been mad if they
name dropped there and said there's a track specifically about cardy right they kept trying to beat around
the bush oh what tracks the tea on so offset played stupid too he was like i don't know what you're
talking about i like tea or was a hot or cold like what's your favorite type of tea so you know um
offset was just playing around with them but he came out i don't know what it was on i don't know if he's
or what but he came out and confirmed that the track move on off of the album kiari will be about his
split with cardi b so ultimately he's letting you know that with this album is more about peace and
loving well love peace and moving on peacefully that's the theme of this album i believe and there's a
quote from offset saying it was great while it lasted period that shouldn't be the topic for either one of us
no more. It's a book that's closed.
But then you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like,
what's going on? Pour one out for one of the most dynamic hip hop duos we've ever seen because
I really start to like go throughout my mental rolodex of the most popular hip hop couples
we've seen in the past five to ten years. And, you know, besides Jay-Z and Beyonce, which,
you know, Beyonce technically doesn't rap, but, you know, she's an artist, right? Besides,
jazine biance i guess some could say nicky and meek but offside and cardi really is one of the most
powerful couples we've seen in hip-hop in quite some time so when i when i really start to look at it like
that and them splitting up it kind of makes sense how everybody will be clamoring for what track
they're specifically talking about each other on the respective albums because don't don't get it
twisted carty b is also coming out with her album and with that album i've already covered it but um she's
coming out with am i the drama september 19th of this year off says coming out with an album kiari this
weekend safe to say i think we're going to get some interesting information as far as each one of those
individuals throughout their career i mean throughout the relationship because i do believe that
this whole couple ideology from the hip-hop standpoint is i'm
I'm not going to say it's frowned upon, but I heard Jermaine DePree talking about how, oh, if you want to be successful, you can't be too tied down or whatever.
You got to give you all into like the music or whatever, which, you know, that's definitely a very interesting take.
I would say a more red pillish take pause.
But ultimately, when it comes to Cardi B and offset, we all thought it was going to work out.
Like, we all know what Offsid allegedly was doing, was not doing.
But at the end of the day, Cardi was holding them down to see.
them ultimately split up sad day in history but then you know what I'm saying I was like damn look at the
state of hip hop like what's going on so it's really not too much I can get into besides offset
talking about how the track move on will be about his split from Cardi B um there's some other things
as far as him having a track with young boy so with that particular track let's get into that right now
