Getting into Omar Quartz with his latest album, Primera Muzza, which I probably butcher that horrendously.
But nonetheless, it came out September 20th, 2024, 17 songs, 57 minutes in length, and it's under Mr. 305 record slash Rima's Entertainment.
Now, of course, this means that we are emphatically in the Latin music scene.
And when getting it to Mr. 305 records is founded by, guess who, Pitbull.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, he has found a way to still impact the masses as far as him having
his own record label and putting out artists under it.
So with it being a influential platform and label, especially when it comes to promoting prominent
Latin musicians.
It has a strong presence in the Latin trap genre, of course, regga tone.
And overall, it just supports a lot of artists in their music development and distribution
and promotion, you know, things that labels do.
But the reason I wanted to get into Omar Quartz specifically is that for the simple fact
that the Billboard 200 as far as global and the predictions, October 12th,
both is being considered.
It has one of the specific tracks from that album,
talking about Premier Musa,
and the title of the track.
Let me just tell you one thing.
I do butcher pronunciations,
but at least I try.
With this specific title,
this is no way I could even try to pronounce this.
So I'm just going to let the AI do it.
U-W-A-S-H-O-Y.
All righty.
So y'all get all that?
So basically, that's what the...
track is titled right and I don't know how in the world I was supposed to pronounce that and even
after listening to the pronunciation guess what I still have no clue so anyways this is one of
not one of this is the best track analytically speaking objectively speaking as far as moving
units in sales right it's the most successful most popular track off of the album and interestingly
enough is the 15th track on the album and Omar has another artist on the track titled
De La Rose so their collaborative efforts on this album that came out September 20th
24 as just took the music scene by storm and even with that with Omar having significant
presence in the Latin music scene especially with this specific
track that just you know completely butcher and had to let the let the AI read off just showcases how
premier music is going crazy in spain as far as his debuting week and showcases his popularity
not only in this region but it's crossed over as far as the global 200 charts like i was saying
as far as the projections having it as the 65th most played track in the world so with all that considered
And then the album selling over 44,000 units first week,
you come to realize that a portion more than a, you know,
majority of that portion, around 30,000.
And this is like solidified by like court chart data,
billboard, things of that nature.
So it around 30,000 of those 44,000 units first week
and just pure sales.
So that is super impressive,
especially in the streaming era.
To get somebody to purchase your music
means that they have a different level
of appreciation for your music.
Now, I'm not saying just because somebody streams
and doesn't purchase your music
that they don't care, right?
I'm just saying if they go out to buy
your specific track, your specific album,
then that means they emphatically believe
that the thing that they are purchasing
is something they want to listen to
for the long haul because why pay when you can just stream if not for the fact that you feel like
you're getting higher quality from whatever you're currently purchasing right so with omar and
other successes in other lanes as far as live performances prima prima prima musa has headline as far as
the album being performed by omar has been at festivals like uh uh uh
Uwesee Fest, man, how I don't know, where I'm supposed to say that?
I don't know, it's like, O-U-S-I, O-U-C-Fest?
I think I said it right.
I don't know.
But this was in San Juan, and his tour activities definitely showcase how, not only does he have people out here purchasing his music,
streaming his music, but he also has a robust fan base to the point where they will come out in person to watch you perform.
a musician that's all you can ask for because honestly when it comes to purchasing music versus
having people show up for your live concerts i would rather them show up to my concerts there's a
reason why when musicians flop they come out and talk about the next day selling out right it's
the way to counteract low sales when it comes to streaming because if you are able to get people
to plan their day around coming to your performance then you already won if you get people to come out
whatever the weather conditions rain sleet or snow people are emphatically empowering you to put out more
music by coming to you live right so for omar to be under this label as far as mr 305 records
founded by or head uh basically created by pit bull you know such a legend in the game in the music game
And then to also have a track that's out here impacting the masses as far as the track that I can't pronounce being the 65th most played track in the world, I think overall you can come to find out that in the Latin music scene, Omar may be a little underappreciated when it comes to the state's review of it and recap of it.
So that's why I'm doing my due diligence as far as far as covering somebody who's been putting our music since 2021.
So now, 2021 to 2024, obviously is not the longest time span, but still be putting our music and impacting the masses the way that Omar is, especially with his live performances, especially with his sales, especially for a lot of people praising his quality and saying that it's one of the best albums in the urban genre as far as Latin music is considered.
I think it's just a testament to Omar Quartz's growing reputation.
So with that being said, click my link to your in my bio and let me know on one of my social medias.
what do you think about Omar Quartz and overall with his album premier Musa will you be
giving it a listen and if you have what track is your favorite off of the album
