Now, of course, getting back into the Latin field, you already know, with my coverage of Oscar
Maidone and Antrimentra, or Mentira, with his most successful track currently, to Boda,
which is currently the 98th most listened to track in the world.
Been on the charts for about 20 weeks, and of course, I initially covered Oscar Maidone for the
first time with his track Giza back in August 9th, 2024.
So fast forward to March 20,
21st, 2025.
This man, Oscar May Donne, has four tracks in, actually, is it 12 tracks?
No, it's not 12 tracks.
Let me see.
This man has, okay, I'm trying to see if I can find it.
I think it's six tracks.
Okay, it is six.
I can't read.
All right, so he has six tracks in the top 50 when it comes specifically to Mexico.
So, of course, for this specific segment, we are getting into Amigos, question mark,
No, period.
With the feature being
Nathan Vega, who I've also covered
a bunch of times on this podcast,
especially when getting into different cultures
and different genres, I like to
look at the artists who are impacting the masses
the most, as when it comes to the overall
landscape of the music industry,
a lot of your favorite musicians
are influenced by these artists
more than you can possibly imagine.
So anyways, Amigos No is a track
from Oscar Maidone and Neaton Vega,
this particular track came out March 6, 2025, right?
And the song is about a relationship where a friendship is off the table, marked by emotional complexity.
And, you know, when it comes to lyrics, obviously, I don't understand.
So that's why I look up these things, just to let, you know, to disseminate to the masses.
So when it comes to what I like about Latin musicians, I listen more for the sonics and how the song structure is being executed.
because even though you can't tell the lyrics or what they're saying, you can always tell good song structure and overall sonically, how is it sounding to you good or bad?
Right? And that's usually my approach to genres where I love the music, but I can't tell what they're saying.
So anyways, when it comes to the charts, it's doing phenomenal, right?
The 25th most played track in Mexico when talking about Amigos question mark, no, period.
you talking about Oscar Maydon in totality in Mexico he's going insane on the charts so he currently
has six tracks in the charts right now so his top track because it's even the most popular in the
world right two boda which is overall the 98th most played track in the world been on the charts
about 20 weeks which is insane and in Mexico specifically two boda is the 19th most popular
track. Amigos question mark no is the 25th most played track in the world. Of course,
Madonna, which is Nathanel Cano's track featuring Oscar Maidon, is the 26 most popular
track in the world. And of course, his fifth, okay, so he has five tracks in the top 50 in Mexico,
not six. His track, oh no, Victor Mandevo's track, Majorese Jordans, which is featuring Oscar
May Don is the 46 most play track in Mexico.
So the reason why I read off these objective analytics is because to put in perspective
how big Oscar May Don is, I can't just talk about the overall charts because his highest
track, you know, no disrespect to him, but it's the 98th most play track in the world.
A significant accomplishment.
Also, I want to let you know just how big he is in Mexico because obviously that's where
he's from.
So when it comes to overall charts, you know, R I, AA-A-W-A-W-A.
certification has a certain level of u.s streams you need to even get certified so you know it's i'm not
saying it's a real game i'm just saying overseas artists may have to do a lot more to even impact the
masses when it comes to the u.s and things of that nature right so that's why i like to go off the region
specific analytics because that makes a big deal as far as the overall perception when it comes to the
masses so with amigos know being one of the pivotal tracks that i wanted to point out for this
particular segment and that's also featuring natan vega very phenomenal track
And with that being said, click my link to share my bio.
