Starting point is 00:00:03 Now, ultimately, you know this segment is going to be all about the goat because we're about to get into the one and only party next door. So, of course, inherently, we have to talk about this man's contribution single-handedly, uplifting, propelling my goat's career, aka Drake. So when we're getting into the upliftment of party next door and what he's did for Drake, obviously the legend track comes to mind one of my top five favorite Drake tracks of all time was written by the party next door then we have with you of course way back in 2016 for my you know views fans out there and then the one and only preach from if you're reading this is too late so obviously party next door and these are like stuff you can look up like party next door complete reference tracks of these songs sort of like when quitting Miller had his reference tracks of Drake's. And then, you know, he somehow, somehow he ended up losing his leg. But anyways, you know, that's just not correlated at all, right? But anyways, Ghostwriters are really supposed to stay behind the scenes as far as what they
Starting point is 00:01:21 attribute to with their pen. But for Party Next Door, he's probably the most premier act I could think of that actually writes for a bunch of musicians. I mean, one of Rihanna's, well, multiple of Rihanna's biggest hits was written by Party Next Door and the Believe It track, which was written by Party Next Door, was one of the more successful ones with that debuting at 11. But the Ghost Rider thing I was touching on obviously touches back on him sometimes taking the behind-the-scenes approach and not putting his name on something that he obviously
Starting point is 00:01:58 helped out on. But that is not what we're here to talk about today. We're getting into his latest single titled Real Woman as it debuted on while he was headlining the South by Southwest billboard stage. And basically this track is the rollout for his fourth studio album, which is titled Party Next Door for set to release. April 26th. I am beyond excited and highly anticipated can't even can't even describe how I feel about this party next door track because one thing about Ghost Riders is usually when they're writing
Starting point is 00:02:46 for a musician is because that musician can perform it better. And party next door's case, I feel like sonically he's also as talented as some of the people he writes for. for it. So his album makes sense to come out by himself instead of just keep throwing out hits to Drake's and the Rihannas, even though the royalties must be amazing because you see every ghost writer and the mom coming out who haven't been paid trying to get some type of reparations in their contract. Obviously part of next door is getting paid because he's never had any type of those incidents happen. So I think with this actual album, it will come out being. fantastic because his business is set up billboards are starting to be put up about this track so that
Starting point is 00:03:36 means they're putting actual marketing promotion dollars behind this track so it's not just no lucy that he's throwing um on dsps is really something he's trying to promote he's trying to pop up and going back to my ghost rider and the delivery point quentin miller i'm going to bring him up once again Quinn Miller was one of those where he put out his own album. And obviously the bars was there, but the delivery was not. So that's the thing you fall into when you get into writing for other artists. Usually you start writing for other artists because you can't perform it like they can. I mean, everybody talks about how Beyonce can't write a song to save her life.
Starting point is 00:04:19 But who's going to perform it like Beyonce? There's this infamous clip of Chris Brown saying, oh, I wrote this track, but who's going to perform it like me? You know, I helped out with this song, but who's going to perform it like me? You know, it was just like a whole braggadocious thing of a performer and a vocalist being able to perform at a level that obviously the people write and can't. Or else, they would just do it themselves, right? So anyways, that's basically all I have for party next door.
Starting point is 00:04:54 I'm actually pretty excited for this album. Like it's one of those where Party Next Door has landed to so many hits male and women. It's like his own body of work
Starting point is 00:05:10 it's kind of like the Todd Dollar sound effect. He has to get his flowers at some point for impacting so much high quality driven tracks. And now he's putting out his own body of work with his own name on it. hopefully this gets the type of spotlight in and you know I like that it deserves so what else
Starting point is 00:05:35 I think it's been like four years since his last album which also charted on billboard so it's not one of those where he's like flopping he's just you know I would retire too if I was writing for Drake I mean look at the dream the dream hasn't made a album since started writing for Beyonce those royalty checks probably is some serious and and it doesn't come with the fame imagine getting all the money from a Beyonce track and not having to get the fame along with it you know you can still go to the grocery store and you know I'm not trying to disrespect the dream maybe he can't do all that but you know all the money without all the fame and recognition because honestly that's what is about in life you know some people want to fame and end up being broke you know what I mean
Starting point is 00:06:20 that's how you end up with all them uh christ that's how you end up like christian rock you know what i'm saying so anyways um that's basically it party next uh party next door performed at south by southwest his management is what else no that's basically it so yeah oh also i wanted to end off on Drake because well look up Drake 4Bats
Starting point is 00:06:52 analytic dreams to see my well to hear my whole review of that track right but let's just say I was 100% correct because Drake just signed just signed 4abats
Starting point is 00:07:06 to OVO sound I told y'all an independent artist putting out a track only three tracks on DSPs now he has Drake as a future. That track is his now. You're on his label. You're working for his sweatshop.
Starting point is 00:07:21 So hey, you know, kudos to four bats, you know, hopefully, you know, he likes the conditions, you know, of the OVO sweatshop. You know what I'm saying? Get a nice lunch break, you know, packets of lunch, things of that nature. Make sure to clock in, clock out. But, yeah. So anyways, at the end of the day, you know, the goat took another wave. And it's just another victim on the charts. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:07:46 So anyways, click my link to me in my bio. Let me know on one of my social medias. What do you think about party next door, putting out his next album after a four-year hiatus from his own music. And also, as far as this particular track, with real woman out now on all DSPs, do you think is fire or trash?
