Starting point is 00:00:00 Getting into Paiso Pluma, one of the things I wanted to get into with this particular track, because at first I was looking at the title, I was like, no way he's talking about who I think he is, right? But actually, it is named after Javante Davis, which is, you know, nicknamed the Tank, right? And it's a celebration of the American professional boxer. So very interesting because, of course, with Paisa Pluma, I would think that, you know, the two just doesn't correlate. but hey i guess you know the world is smaller than you actually think especially with the use of the internet right so with that being said excuse my ignorance because this is actually uh you know named after jervante because i was like why is it titled to look like that but you know it makes sense now
Starting point is 00:00:47 so this was released today on all dsps and it's basically just a new track from peso pluma because of course when it comes to 2024 he's my favorite latin musician of this year of last year overall enjoy Paiso Pluma's music and not just on a oh listen to review but listen to on my own time like I really enjoy his music which is why if you click my link tree in my bio you know shameless plug at the bottom of my link tree I have a tab this is what I'm listening to and I have a list a playlist of fresh fire 24 which obviously hence the name tracks I think is fire that came out in 2024 and so pluma has a lot of tracks in that playlist so I listen to it a lot on my off time And as far as what he's done statistically, as far as globally speaking, I mean, as far as being nominated for Best Musica Mexicana album at the 2025 Grammys, as far as peaking in number one on the top Latin albums for 12 weeks, as far as reaching number five on Billboard 200 listed in Spotify's top five most streamed global Latin albums.
Starting point is 00:01:56 I mean, it's safe to say that this man has had himself a phenomenal. year in 2024. Not even to mention one of my personal favorites. And it didn't do that well on the charts, which very much surprised me. I thought it was a match made in heaven. But Cardi B has a track with Pace of Pluma, right? And I think that track is straightfire and definitely ties into Cardi B because, I mean, obviously she's black, right?
Starting point is 00:02:22 I think, I'm not trying to be funny. Cardi B, let me see, ethnicity. Let's be politically correct, right? Okay, yeah, yeah, she is. She's Afro-Latina. Cause I was like, she is black, I believe. So the Dominican father, Trinidadian, how do you pronounce that? Trinidadian, Trinidadian, Trinidadian.
Starting point is 00:02:46 I don't know, I pronounce that, Trinidad, right? Mother who brought Spanish and African characteristics. Okay, so yeah. So basically, Afro-Latina, like I was saying. So with that being said, I'm not going to lie. I thought this was up her alley as far as her, flow, her cadence as far as switching the languages like Paiso Pluma was doing. Like Paisa Pluma was rapping in Spanish.
Starting point is 00:03:09 Not Beyonce. Cardi has some bars in Spanish and they've really played off each other as far as put them in the fridge. I thought it was a phenomenal track. I don't know why I didn't blow up. But as far as Paiso Pluma himself, a lot of his other track blew up. I mean, his most popular to this day is the one with Tito Double P as far as the track DOS. That's been on the charts for about 12 weeks. still the 75th most played track in the world
Starting point is 00:03:34 and of course currently his album ex-o is the 48th most played track in the world so not to say people didn't listen to the album I'm definitely not saying that I just thought it would be more of a chart topper but like I always say you know just because you make high quality music doesn't mean it's gonna stream high and just because it streams high
Starting point is 00:03:51 doesn't mean that it's not low quality music right the two does not correlate I just love to go over numbers as far as the litmus scale so the Paisal Puma and Cardi Beat track I thought it was just phenomenal. But hey, you know, some you think it's just a hit out, you know, the parking end just ends up being an okay solid track. So it was far as statistically speaking. With that being said, Paisal Pluma was ranked seventh globally on Spotify in 2024 alongside the top musicians in the world.
Starting point is 00:04:18 So that's a pretty big accomplishment. If you want to see the chart, here it is right here. So you see Paisal Pluma is number seven. So technically he's a second most popular Latin musician. you know after bad bunny of course and then feed is number 10 i believe he's a latin musician i'm not mistaken i remember covering feed but i forgot if he was specifically a latin musician so anyways um as you can tell peasant plume is a huge deal is going to continue to be a huge deal he's the most stream latin musician as far as specifically in 2024 when it comes to
Starting point is 00:04:54 um actually no that's bad bunny so he's the second most streamed Latin musician when it comes to 24 because I think the rank well I just showed you all the rank is bad bunny Peso and then feed so what else that's basically it as far as
Starting point is 00:05:13 yeah that's basically it so with his track Gervante make sure you click my link to my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about Paiso Pluma's latest track that he put out on all DSPs titled Javante and do you think it's fire or trash
Starting point is 00:05:29 Thank you.
