Starting point is 00:00:00 For all of my people who watch streams out there, just know that Luna brings a different type of enjoyment to my life because there's this one streamer who has a cat called Luna. And that's why I'm going to leave it at because you got to do the rest for yourself because that stuff is hilarious. I'm not going to lie, but in general for this segment, we're getting into a Mexican artist, well, Mexican artist, so plural. So pluma, I think I'm saying this name right, and Junior H.

Starting point is 00:00:30 and their latest song that was just released titled Luna. Now, as the second single from Paiso Pluma's album, Genesis, the song is a ballad about a man who is trying to move on from a past relationship. And he tells the moon to take care of his ex-girlfriend, and he hopes that she would be happy. Now, how did that just translate that to you in English? Because I'm the best podcast in the world, of course, and that's why you should rate this five stars or whatever platform you're listening on.

Starting point is 00:01:00 But, you know, that's what's the point. So anyways, let's get back into why everybody's enjoying this track. Now, from Pluma, there's a lot of emotive vocals. And in general, he's had a lot of success and a pass with a plethora of tracks. He had AMG, which peaked at number 66 on the top 100 Billboard. And then he had Ella Ballasola, hopefully I'm saying that right. that peaked at number 17 on the billboard top 100 then he had la bebebe a name that academics loves to call a little baby but i don't know if he was to tell it to him in person but anyway that's

Starting point is 00:01:40 besides the point that peaked at number 26 on a billboard top 100 and then switching gears into the other mexican artist junior h he has i wouldn't say hits but he has tracks to have cracked into the top 100 on Billboard with endo bn pito i don't know what that translates into so hey if y'all cancel me just know i don't know whatever this is but anyways this peaked at number 89 on the billboard top 100 he had a track called el carido del junior that peaked at number 97 on the billboard top 100 then he had you know imagine these translations in english is just the wildest thing imaginable you know i try to make this a PG podcast but if I don't know the language then I'm ignorant so y'all can't you know what I mean hey take it how you get it anyways and then junior age has a track called bollella trass

Starting point is 00:02:33 but bollella and that peaked at number 74 on the billboard top 100 so that was his biggest track botella tras botella for junior h and for peso paco pluma his most popular track is ella bala Sola that peaked at number 17 on Billboard Top 100. So both of these artists in their respective manner are rising stars in a Mexican music scene, and they both have had a success on a Billboard charts, as you see. I just read it out. And they're catchy melodies and a lot of performances is one of the reasons why they're rising to the top.
