Starting point is 00:00:04 The number one independent album, the number one top Latin album, the number one regional Mexican album, and the seventh most played album in the world. Now who might I be talking about? You are probably asking. No other, but none other. than my favorite Latin musician Paiso Pluma, who put out his album Exodo on June 20th, 20th. And as far as why he may be my favorite Latin musician, you may ask, is because of his infatuation
Starting point is 00:00:55 with hip hop and the authentic nature of his infatuation with hip hop. Because just take a listen, just listen to this clip right here. What are you listening to? Like what does Pesso Pluma listen to when he's like just chilling? I wonder. Kanye West. Okay, Kanye. Shout out to Cama.
Starting point is 00:01:18 A man of culture. If I do say so myself. So all jokes aside, Exoto is Pesopuma's fourth studio album. And staying in line with culture, he has a lot of hip-hop musicians on his album the likes of Cardi B
Starting point is 00:01:40 the likes of Cuevo and Rich the Kid Who would have saw that coming? Right? The album has 24 tracks is divided into the two parts The first part focuses on regional Mexican music
Starting point is 00:01:54 While the second part explores urban genres Such as trap, reggaeton And the album Exodo references the second book of the Hebrew and Christian Bible. Didn't think you was going to get that information in this segment, did you? So anyways, with that theme and referencing the second book of the Hebrew and Christian Bible, it also explores other things such as liberal, hold on how you say that word.
Starting point is 00:02:28 I don't think that's Liberator, because it's T-I-O-R, Liberator. Liberator. Liberator. No, hey, it has to be Liberator. Maybe it's misspelled. I don't know. Themes of Liberator and Redemption. So, of course, Paisal Pluma announced the album, and now the album is out for all of his fans.
Starting point is 00:02:53 Now, he announced a tour, I believe. Yeah, because on his page, his last post is about him going on tour. Yeah, he said he's ready for the Exodo tour. So if you want to, go to one of his performances, I would follow his Instagram, which is Paiso Puma. And the song La Petrullia captures the journey of personal growth in life's ups and downs. So that would probably be all throughout his set as far as whenever he's on tour. Some of the other people that helped out with
Starting point is 00:03:33 this album is Nathan Viga and how he helped him out on his most popular track La Petrullia because if you don't know that's the most popular track off of this album Exodo
Starting point is 00:03:48 La Petrulia is currently the third most played song in Mexico right now and as far as the global aspect the charts aren't showing any of Pacea Pula
Starting point is 00:04:05 Pua Pula tracks but as far as the album charts peso pluma has the seventh most played album in the world currently right after morgan walling chapelle rowing billy ishish and surprisingly megan the stallion has the third most played album in the world i don't know why i just wanted to throw that out there but hey now you know so with la petrulia doing what it's doing and i would assume the management that he's under, which is double P records, a record label that he created, will have some say into how they want to go about promoting this particular track.
Starting point is 00:04:48 But at the end of the day, it's the album that his fans seem to be enjoying, and that's the biggest thing you can ask for. Because to have an album out on the charts for two weeks and to still go number one both of those weeks means that there's not a significant drop-off from your listenership to where you slide down the charts. So as far as having the number one independent album for two weeks in a row, the top Latin album for two weeks in a row,
Starting point is 00:05:19 regional Mexican album for two weeks in a row, it just showcases the dedication and passion of Peso Pluma fans. So with that being said, click my link to my bio and let me know in one of my social media is. What do you think about Peso Pluma and his album, and also will you be going on the Exodo tour?
