Starting point is 00:00:00 So if you don't know, a new single called Quima, I believe. Hopefully, that's not an explicit term as I believe that's a different language. And if you don't know, my native tongue is English. So there you go. So, yeah, Quima, the track, you know, I just said it again. But it's by Ryan Castro and everybody's fan favorite that I'm starting to recognize on this podcast. as far as the Latin demographic really responding to this in a very positive way. Like they really enjoy when I talk about this artist.
Starting point is 00:00:37 But the artist I'm speaking on is Paiso Pluma. It's also attached to this track. And if you don't know, Pesal Pluma and Ryan Castro, along with DJ Who, just put out a new track titled Quima. Well, I already said that. It's produced by SOG. and what else it's a reggae tone type of track of course it features pesos signature flow
Starting point is 00:01:04 which let me tell you some I'll listen to this track right and off the bat I'm like this production I'm not going to say it's phenomenal or amazing but it is really good like I will listen to this track over and over like personally like it's really one of those tracks where usually when I listen to
Starting point is 00:01:23 reggae tone type of tracks it doesn't really blow me away, but it was something about the way that they were sliding on the beat. It was like, am I listening to like Travis Sky and Drake right now? Like, they was really playing off each other. They was, I ain't know a word. They were saying. But the flow, the melody, the way they switched it up, I'm like, this track is a hit. Like, this is, this is fire.
Starting point is 00:01:45 So it's already running up the views and the listens, of course. But I just really want to speak on the quality because, of course, in the past, have talked about peso pluma running it up on the billboard charts but for this song specifically this track is beyond fire i don't know who made this beat well i guess i said produced by sog but um i just believe that for this columbian type of duo which both of these artists are from uh columbia columbia i believe i think so and for dj who is uh who's from puerto rico i just believe for them I'm repping their culture like this on this type of beat going back and forth the way they do over this track. I'm not as knowledgeable or acclimated with the Latin community as far as music-wise.
Starting point is 00:02:41 But personally, I feel like this is one of the better tracks that they've put out in 2023. I'm not even joking. You got to listen to the track yourself. I don't understand. A word they're saying. And this is still straight fuego. Bar for bar, well, I can't say bar for bar, because I know what they're saying.
Starting point is 00:02:58 Flow for flow, melody for melody, this track is fire. Like I'm not even joking. You got to listen to the track yourself. As the beat alone should keep you engaged. And if not, the man, I don't know what to tell you, because this is a very, very fire track. And for these two to come together like this
Starting point is 00:03:17 and collaborate, knowing that they're both from Columbia, it's nice. to see young artists on the rise not beefing in their respective genre and getting money together because that's what it's all about as this world already throws enough obstacles at you and why create more obstacles for yourself by beefing with people that's not if not on around the same level as you so i'm glad to see ryan castro and peso pesto pluma coming together for this track called quima and honestly i'm not even joking this is one of my favorite tracks i had the latin music uh community and i do believe this may be one of the best tracks one of the best reggae tone tracks
Starting point is 00:04:02 that i've heard in 2023 so click my link to my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about ryan castri on peso pluma uh track title quima have you listened to it and if you've had if you had do you think is fire or trash
