Starting point is 00:00:03 Now y'all knew that another peso pluma update was coming because as far as having not one, not two, not three, but four tracks in the top ten as far as top songs in Mexico, the one and only Pesa Pluma is the person that this accomplishment is attributed towards because the biggest thing for Pesopuma, I mean the biggest because Paul's, but you know, he's really. putting on for the latin music film especially when it comes to the modern trap version of latin music because you have elements of coridos uh tumbados tumbados i think that's how you say but as far as specific tracks like the one we're covering today which is los corredos i think i said that right uh like i said i'm gonna learn spanish at one point you know i'm really gonna lock in for like a actually I don't know how long it's going to take me but hey definitely in the back of my mind so with that being said
Starting point is 00:01:08 um Paiso Pluma currently is still impacting the charts like like none other I mean having the 74th most played track in the world with it already being on the charts for about six weeks is a significant accomplishment and so and not even to mention the fact that Paiso Pluma has two albums charting
Starting point is 00:01:27 in the world right now I mean, Exodo is still the 15th most played album in the world, been on the charts for about five, about 10 weeks and peaked in number five. So, huge accomplishment in itself. And then not even to mention the fact, Genesis that came out last year, mind you. And to be more specific, came out June 29th of 2023, been on the charts for about 62 weeks. And it's still the 36 most played album in the world. This is a, this is a overseas musician putting up these type of numbers. along with competing with U.S. artists
Starting point is 00:02:03 because you need a certain minimum amount of units sold for RIAA to even certify certain tracks, albums, gold, platinum, diamond, etc. So Pesa Pluma, let alone topping the charts in Mexico, is also putting up numbers in the overall landscape of the U.S. charts because even though overall it should be global, U.S., you know, play certain games when it comes to qualifications in certifying numbers
Starting point is 00:02:34 so that certain musicians in the U.S. will have an advantage. Let's just say that. So before Paiso Pluma, having some of the biggest statistical achievements from a Latin musician in 2024, this track as far as Los Corridos,
Starting point is 00:02:53 being the sixth most played track in the world, I mean, not the world. Being the sixth most played track in Mexico, there's no surprise to me. me because best believe me if there was somebody like a bad bunny like an annual to compete with pisa pluma i don't know if you would have taken up four slots in the top 10 but he will still be competing with the biggest in the latin space because i mean at this point we could probably say bad bunny is the biggest in the latin music industry i think that's safe to say but we have carol g that's
Starting point is 00:03:29 dropped her entire body of work you have louis arc conriquez fraser regita not to now cano i mean you have a lot of musicians that's also put in a big numbers in the latin space but peso pluma still continues to dominate with the amount of entries that he's putting up in his specific regions um charts so that's one of the things i wanted to get into because specifically talking about those corridors it's just more getting into the overall theme as far as just the fast pace and accordion driven melodies and it's basically typical and Mexican music because even though it has a lot of modern beats having Tito double P definitely adds a lot as far as this distinctive vocal delivery and production elements because their overall release of this specific track happened back in August 8th, 2024. So for
Starting point is 00:04:29 a song to still have popularity in today's age as far as September 6, almost a whole month after, is a testament to the song quality. Because I don't know if y'all are familiar with the musical consumption landscape, but people will listen to half a song and they're on to the next. So if you can't captivate somebody with the chorus, I mean, why y'all think we haven't heard a third verse in forever? because people's attention span is the lowest has ever been. I don't know how I was to say it.
Starting point is 00:05:06 It's basically we are at the bottom, the depths of hell as far as the attention span in today's generation. So with that being said, there's a lot of songs that's being made, even with two musicians on it, That's like a minute and 40 seconds long. So you have to captivate your audience quickly nowadays. And that's why we will probably not hear a third verse be popularized for quite some time. Because people are probably thinking, what's the point? I mean, if it's not a freestyle with somebody else and like four other people, then why are we making a four-minute track?
Starting point is 00:05:46 Why are we making a three-minute track? usually those are set aside for if you're r&b artist you can go on a i think a ballet is what it's called or you can go on an entire um africate what's called i think it's a ballot but anyways when they draw out the song whatever um but for the most part people are trying to hear a quick song and they're on to next i mean the attention the attention span is at all time low so with peso pluma and his specific tracks coming again and again and again just top in the charts in Mexico and topping the chart, not topping, but, you know, heavily impacting the charts in the U.S. It just showcases that not only does he have the audience in Mexico, but also
Starting point is 00:06:31 internationally, because that's what it would be considered as far as the U.S. to them. What else? I think that's basically it. I mean, how much praise can I get Paisal Pluma before y'all call it glazing, right? So this is just a testament to the overall regional Mexican music and I'm glad that Paiso Pluma continuously puts out high quality music to put his region on the forefront to let y'all know that we can also make trap music and have high influence on a musical landscape as far as reach and impact so that being said click my link to your in my bio let me know one of my social media's what do you think about the specific track with Paiso Pluma and um i forgot who's
Starting point is 00:07:18 also on his track Tito double P I literally talked about him but I forgot so I'm just gonna do it over click my link to my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about Paiso Pluma and Tito double P in their track Los Corridos
