Starting point is 00:00:00 Shepard, promise me you'll tell them to subscribe for ad free content. Now when it comes to dynamic duos, safe to say that this unfortunately ended way too soon. You guys, see, that's the problem. As you come to realize with the particular artists that we're getting into today, that goes by the name of, and I kid you not, they called themselves Plan B. I was like, what in the world? Are they the oven stoppers? all right my fault that's probably you know playing b is probably the better name so anyways when it comes to these when it comes to this duo they are porto rican reggaeton uh regitone duo consisting of
Starting point is 00:00:41 chinchot corleone whose real name is Orlando Javier vale vega and then you have maldi whose real name is edwin vasquez vaga so anyways they're from porto rico and it's far as the duo's runtime going by the name of plan B they went from 1999 to 2018 so you probably think it to yourself you guys where what happened and where did the music go well ladies and gentlemen analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio because currently i have plan B's instagram account up but now i have the reason why they split up yesterday's price is not today's price. Hold up, Fat Joe.
Starting point is 00:01:30 Tell him one more time. I don't think they hurt you. Uh-huh. It's not today's price. Now, the reason why I play that, ladies and gentlemen, is because when they split up individually, safe to say that chinchot Corleone went on to have a phenomenal career. And this is no slight to Maldi. This is no detriment to him as an artist as far as the other half of plan B.
Starting point is 00:01:59 But Chinchot Corleon currently has 28 million monthly Spotify listeners. He's had tracks with Bad Bunny that reached 2 billion streams. He had track with Ra Alejandro, all of these artists we've covered before on notorious mass effect because you know we get into the gaming and music IPs that notoriously affect the masses. So, of course, when you look at the revenue, because you already know I'm a Hall of Fame Pocket Watcher. I looked at the net worth and it said 5 to 12 million hours. Oh, no. I was like, I understand, buddy.
Starting point is 00:02:33 I understand. He was like, you wanted to split up in what year? You know what I'm saying? It's not today's price. This man was in a whole group that was doing phenomenal, by the way, and looked at the number. He said, hold up now. I can do that by myself.
Starting point is 00:02:49 I know that ain't who I think it is. So anyways, not to be disrespectful. The other half of playing B, Maldi, he currently is also having solid number, very solid numbers as far as 4.8 million Spotify listeners, monthly listeners. And of course, he had his Carol G feature, which was one of the highlights in his career. And of course, overall, he's still doing phenomenal on social media. And of course, there was no bad blood as far as the breakup.
Starting point is 00:03:21 They just wanted to go their own ways because they even came out and talked about the split, saying that they shifted to solo career. so each could pursue individual projects and greater creative independence after nearly two decades together. So it's safe to say the relationship ran this course, but it did not mean that they are having bad love with each other. It was basically very, it was a, it was a, it was on good terms as far as when they split. Let's just put it like that. And basically, when it comes to the mutual. decision, it was not involving a public fallout, which is one of the better ways to disband
Starting point is 00:04:05 as a group, especially if the split is amicable. You come to realize that both want to continue releasing music just individually. And there's nothing wrong with that, especially if you already went two years with putting out music with each other, as that is the reason for this specific segment. As the plan B as a group, their highest performer track, objectively speaking, as S-un-Sacrito is currently the 48th most played track in Mexico. And then you come to realize, ladies and gentlemen, that came out, and it has almost two billion streams with a B, right? That came out in 2010.
Starting point is 00:04:43 You guys. Now, you come to realize it's about a decade-plus later, and it's still the 48th most played track in Mexico, which makes you realize that not only is S-U-S-U-S-U-S-Crito objectively, the biggest song from them as a group as far as chinchot as far as um maudy together with their uh self-title group plan b now not only is objectively speaking that's their most popular track but you come to realize that led them to capitalize in a way that they could have independence and still staying on them on their own two feet musically because they're so well respected because of that one track that they made
Starting point is 00:05:27 together. Now, of course, they have multiple other tracks. I mean, as a group, that specific track did go crazy everywhere, especially in Spain. As you come to look at the fourth time platinum Spain certification driven by streaming, you come to
Starting point is 00:05:43 realize that in Mexico charts at the top 50 weekly data with millions of streams, you come to realize that the clips from TikTok, social media in general brought it back because of it coming out 2010 you come to realize that tic-tok social media marketing clips start to bring the track back
Starting point is 00:06:02 to the ecosphere of the music industry and people started to play the track even more because they was saying to themselves after listening to the clip i want to listen to the entire track so anyways chinchot is currently on tour as you can see right here he's having a whole Halloween event and he's still letting you know you know you know this came out five days ago and he's letting you know he's like hey i'm still putting up numbers you know what i'm saying so anyways the reason why bring that up is because of course that's the track with bad bunny i was talking about me puerto bonito
Starting point is 00:06:35 and when it comes to the overall provocativity of their content safe to say the actual track as um secrito is basically a sensual reggaeton track that is about the unspoken attraction that's built between you in a significant other i was like hold up now they may be they may be on to some. And then I actually listened to the track and I thoroughly
Starting point is 00:07:02 enjoyed it to the point where I put it on my playlist. So of course, this is not a shameless plug, but everybody can find what I'm listening to on the bottom of my link tree as I have a whole link that says what I'm listening to is literally on my playlist as far as the Fresh Fire 2016. I mean 2026. So the reason I say that
Starting point is 00:07:20 is because don't snitch if you see a song from 2010 on my 2026 Fresh Fire playlist. It's because I just was aware of this track and I think it's straight fire. So with that being said, click my link to shoot in my bio to follow me on my social medias. And of course, if you're on Spotify, make sure to comment down below, were you a Plan B fan? And if you were, what was your favorite track from them as a group?
