It is time to face the music. Unintended. Because of course, with this upcoming album from Playboy Cardi, which I think he's literally calling it music, which, you know, is very on the nose, but whatever. So as much anticipated album, I Am Music, has now revealed it. single and all red is unequivocally a complete copycat of a future track.

Now, of course, that just is testament to how future is the one who belongs in the top three as far as the hip-hop hierarchy is considered and not Jermaine, who is consistently the most overrated rapper of all time. But with that out the way, Playboy Cardi and their fan base, His fan base, you know, don't want to get to a 2024 problem. Basically, his fan base have been outspoken about my critique on how Playbacardi never releases music on DSP's solo. He's always attaching his name to another artist to make his public perception bigger than it actually is.

But behold, we actually have numbers on a DSP release solo-wise. from Playbred Cardi. So ladies and gentlemen, Playbric Cardi currently has the 15th, no, the 16th most played track in the world. So All Red,

which is the latest single for his upcoming album, I Am Music, debuted as being the 15th most listened to track in the world. Huge accomplishment in itself. But then you get to the fact

that I am music, am about to double down looking at the actual advanced analytics that i usually look at as far as billboard and chart prediction i had to find something because you know i was ready to give it up i was going to come back and be like you know what you play with cardi fans was right he does have a fan base when it comes to music and they do care about his solo releases until i went to the projections for October 5th, 2024, and lo and behold, it is nowhere to be found on the top 50.

Now, how does that work? Because another track, dancing in the flames by the weekend is currently the 14th most listened to track in the world as far as the debut. But the advanced projections of the track shows it sliding to the 45th most played track in the world as far as the weekends dancing in the flames.

All read by, by, Playbric Cardi technically should be a little bit lower than that, but right next to it, right? It is nowhere to be found off the top 50. And coincidentally, the weekend and Playbricarty currently have a track out now titled Timeless when they're both under the major label Universal Music Group. I'm no conspiracy theorist. I'm just laying out the objective facts that you could easily look up for you. Well, not the advanced analytics. You have to subscribe to talk of the charts. But, you know, besides that, if you're not willing to put up the money, then Hey, you can always listen to me.

You know what I'm saying? So anyways, playbic Cardi and his track all read, undeniably is a hit out the gate because it's the 15th most played track in the world as far as the debut numbers. And also, it's his first official DSP solo release since 2020. Playboy Cardi fans be making me seem crazy, calling out how he doesn't want to compete by himself

against the big dogs. This man has not released a solo track since 2020. I'm talking DSPs. I'm not talking YouTube SoundCloud where you can fudge the numbers and make it seem higher than you actually are. I'm talking about actual DSPs where this is heavy regulations as far as how you can go about promoting your music to the point where Billboard will literally hold back projections just to make sure every single unit is accounted for. shout out to my coverage of the Sabrina Carpenter versus Travis Scott, which you can look up now. of all time. So anyways, getting back into Playboy Cardi. All Red debut number three on the Billboard Hot R&B slash hip hop songs, but overall is the 15th most play track. But specifically in hip hop land, it is number one in the R&B and hip hop lane. And top 10 all genre when it comes to streaming, the charts I look at certified by Billboard is units and streaming. So if it was just streaming, hip hop would be running the charts. But just like Drake said, Billboard is pulling, you know, they're pulling some stunts when it comes to airplay, radio and everything like that.

So now that's being incorporated into certain stats to make it look like hip hop is really not as dominant as it is. but streaming wise hip hop is still as dominant as it used to be it's just units are now being heavily played into the whole billboard hot 100 when it comes to uh them switching up the rules which if you want to know more about that we would have to go the illuminate route because they own some of these well majority of these tech companies so that's a whole other segment in itself but let's stick with playbricardi so all red is undeniably a hit out the gate and it's his seventh top 10 hit on hot rnb and hip hop songs chart that joins the likes of paine 1993 with drake mr rage with trippy red fiend with travis scott that that was uh no that

wasn't the highest the highest was carnival with the goat conier and todd dallasan which was uh number one this year remember how conier wendy wendezer wendezer was uh... number one this year remember how cony went number one with the whole entire album independently because everybody laid uh everybody disses themselves from coney because of his jewish remarks which i definitely don't condone definitely out of pocket with that but just laying it out just laying it out for you uh all the major labels basically distanced themselves from conier forget the major labels adidas disses themselves from conier gap distances themselves like all these brands was like you are saying anti-Semitic rhetoric so we are distancing ourselves and guess what Kanye still went number one

with his album Votures not Voters too I'm talking about Voters that came out earlier this year it went number one as an independent artist literally if you look at Kanye's release it just says Kanye and it says like something else like it's basically like his company that he put it out under which is why a lot of music was getting taken down when the album came out and things of that nature because he was going against the grain as an independent artist but he still went number one being yeah it literally says 2024 y zy because it's independent it's his company like he uploaded it himself like he was like oh who's the subsidiary for this he's like me i am and he still went number one so anyways play bricardy had his biggest single with conier off of that album as far as

carnival and then type expletificacy pg podcast with future metro uh went number two and then field trip with uh once again the goat and codea black went number 10 that was back in august 24 so of course cardy has some success when it came to the charts but it was always him attaching his name to another superstar which is nothing wrong with that if you can network in that fashion i'm just pointing out how people were putting playbri cardi on a pedestal when it came to solo in the hip-hop game when this man hasn't performed solo in four to five years. So now with all red debuting being the 15th most played track in the world, we'll see if it holds, which is probably the most, I ain't going to lie,

it's a little, the hating meter, the hating meter and the hating scale definitely tips towards your favor because I'm saying let's wait to see if it falls off. but technically, objectively, I did look at the numbers and is not on the top 50 at all as far as for October 15th. I'm not looking at like the end of October. I'm not looking at like December, November. I'm looking at literally next week and it's projected to not be in the top 50 at all. That's a little weird to me. Maybe him being away for four to five years when it comes to solo releases is why it debuted so high.

let's see if it actually holds but i would not be mad if somebody pointed that out as hating so yeah i could be a little objective but anyways uh with that being said playbicardy's all red track is set to be his main single for his album i am music when is it's going to come out the world may never know because the weekend and play with carty just released the track together titled timeless which is off of the weekend's upcoming album titled Hurry Up Tomorrow. So if that's a single for a weekend album, you can already guess that that's going to do some numbers. So he may just let that single rock,

which once again reiterates my point of him attaching himself to superstars to keep his public perception at a certain level, which is nothing wrong with it if you can network like that. But when it comes to yourself solo, let's see how he performs because to be fair again I'm being all type but you know I'm calling

a fair game I feel like but all red did receive minimal radio airplay so when I don't see it on a projected analytics as far as it being in the top 50

it could drastically change based off the airplay because streaming wise his people are going to stream his music as almost the NBA young boy effect but will they stream enough for him to stay in the top 50? I doubt it.

Personally, looking at the numbers, as far as seeing how many of his fan base bought the track, you can see that it was a significant amount as 92% of people came out to buy the album or buy the single when it came out. So when you're looking at that and it's 31.0 and 39.6 is the overall. streams or overall sales so majority people bought the actual track but yeah I was trying to look at something else as far as the numbers um let me see all red okay 53% in the US um that was basically

it yeah that's basically and like I said minimum airplay so it's it's not that's that was like less than 1% of the actual reason it charted actually it's 2% but Who counts that? So anyways, what else about Playboy? Oh, Playboy Cardi was also honored at the Billboard's 2024 R&B and hip-hop Power Players event with the Artist of the Year Award. Who in the world? There's no way.

There's just no way. That couldn't be based off objective facts. How is he a power? I don't get it. I don't get it, man. I think it's because he was a part of Kanye's train. track carnival and nobody wants to associate with Kanye so they give it to Playboy maybe that's why but um yeah man I'm us enough of me talking about Playboy let's revisit this next week to see if it holds and

if it does hold I'm a man of my word I will put out a track that talks about this the all red stats all over again saying that hey I was wrong and y'all was right but until that day until we see that hold in the top 50 not even top 25 in the top 50 I am still still continuing my same rhetoric of Playboy Cardi not being as dominant as people think by himself when it comes to musical releases.
