From the marketing side, it seems like Playbricardi is giving his fans a lot for his rollout for the upcoming album I Am Music.
But from a numbers perspective, Playbricarty has been implementing a certain strategy to make himself look bigger than he actually is.
And what do I mean by that? Of course, I'm going to explain.
So Backrooms was the first official single for the album I Am Music.
music, right?
But if you look at backrooms, it's not on any DSPs, it's not on any platforms that could be
certified by R.I.A., which is the Recording Industry Association of America for those who
need to know that information.
But basically, he's not putting up any type of statistical numbers on the board for the
rollout for his album.
Now, why is that big deal?
Because I believe that if you're going to act like your rollout, your marketing campaign
is a one of one is something that the masses will gravitate towards, then at some point
you're going to actually have to step out on a limb and compete with the big dogs on
streaming services.
You can't keep having smoke and mirrors in anticipation.
for your album, especially putting music on YouTube,
which YouTube is a fine platform, of course.
But when we're talking about music,
it's like going to the league
and then to show you're still that hooper,
you go to the park and put up numbers.
Like, no, we need you in the RIAA certified platforms
trying to compete with the top dogs in the streaming industry.
Everybody says how big of an artist Playbree Cardi is,
but when is he going to step out on the limb?
and actually put up numbers on the charts.
The reason why I say that is because the only noise,
and I mean the only noise that Playbigh Cardi had in 2023
was when he attached himself to an artist that was bigger than him.
The weekend, Madonna and Playbic Cardi's popular track,
which the track is called popular,
is still to this day doing numbers on the charts,
which is at number 13 on Billboard Global Charts.
But basically, to go along with that, the track Feene off of Travis Scott's Utopia is still reentering the top 100, the Billboard, Hot 100 to this day on 79th, which is his 10th week on the chart.
So as far as the biggest impact, Playbric Hardy has only had that attaching himself to other musicians that are way more solidified in the game than him.
Now, I may come across as a Playboy Carty hater, but I promise you I'm not.
I like this last album, even though everybody killed it.
You know, my favorite track off of there was, I think it was Sky.
And you know what's funny, that was like one of the more popular tracks off of the album,
but it wasn't when it first came out.
When that album first came out and Playboy Cardi fans could also attest to this.
Everybody was saying it was trash, the worst thing he ever made,
and then later on down the line, they started to enjoy it.
I liked it from the very beginning.
and as soon as it came out.
So, do I think this album is going to be bad quality-wise?
Of course not.
I'm just pointing out the hesitancy from Playbric Cardi's camp to not attempt to compete
with any of the big boys when it comes into the streaming lane.
He wants to stay in the wreck putting up jumpers when he could be actually trying to compete
on a Spotify, an album music, even a D-ZER sound exchange, any platform that's certified
by R IAA certification.
Like at this point,
this man has to take a leap of faith
and just put faith in his fans
that they're going to take his single,
whatever he chooses it to be.
Maybe his backrooms,
it's seeming like it's not going to be.
That's also attached with Travis Scott.
The first single he put out for his album
is attaching himself to Travis Scott's name.
Keep that in mind.
But anyways,
his next single,
he needs to have faith in his fans.
to where when he puts out a single,
they're going to support it and put it,
not even a top 10 track,
maybe a top 25, at least a top 50,
for the authentic aspect of this bigger-than-life movement
that he's trying to create for his new album, I Am Music.
So with that out the way,
I just had to get that in there
because I feel like a lot of people give Playboy Cardi a certain type of respect
that he definitely deserves.
But it's weird when in all of this time that's passed, of course, I'm not going to say this has been a changing of the guards, but Playbricardy still has to, he still has to prove himself time and time again, just like all the legends have to do.
So with that being said, I'm definitely not saying Playb Ricardy's not a legend.
I'm just pointing out and highlighting the fact that he's hesitant to step into the RIAA Certified Platform lane.
continues to try to fabricate and put smoke and mirrors behind his numbers via music.
So with that been said, all you really need to know is that the reason for the segment is that
Playboy Cardi is putting out a new single this Friday titled Baby Boy.
Now, this would be the second single following backrooms with Travis Scott, like I previously
mentioned.
And his recent activities makes it seem like it's going to come on time.
if you don't know play bigardy kaney west they have a certain air uh certain type of rollout where
sometimes they will say something and it doesn't happen right basically blatantly lying to the fans but
with this i think he's actually going to take the time out to put out music when he says because
a lot of things that he's been saying has been actually coming out like backrooms uh some of the
promotion tidbits for videos just he's been promising a lot himself
videoing himself and showing up a lot more even though previously he was going on his whole
mystery campaign now he's showing himself a lot more which leads me to believe and a lot of other
fans to believe that he's actually going to follow through on his promises so baby boy by
playboy card he should be coming out friday and i know a lot of people like to focus on a certain
thing that happened with the police not too long ago with a video surfacing from 2020
I'm not going to touch on that because, I mean, it's literally 2024.
Like at this point, if he's not in jail, he's not killing, you know,
there's a lot of things that's more egregious than a speeding traffic ticket.
So I'm not even going to cover that.
But at the end of day, definitely make sure to check out Playboy Cardi's Baby Boy
when it reportedly is coming out Friday and click my link tree in my bio.
Let me know one of my social medias.
Do you think I was off with my analysis of Playboy Cardi's,
uh rollout for his upcoming album or would you also like to see play bricardy officially
drop a track on dsps
