Starting point is 00:00:00 When talking about impacting the music landscape via features, Playboy Cardi is up there with the best of them. As Feen off of Utopia and popular off of the Idol soundtrack were phenomenal appearances from Playboy Cardi to the point where I think he was supposed to be on the pink tape and I think he was supposed to be on Offsett's album. I forgot what his album was called. But anyways, ending up not being on either one. simply for the fact that I believe Fien and Popular were such impactful tracks that had him on it. And he attributed a lot to those tracks that he probably felt like he could chill for the rest of the year. Because obviously he wasn't trying to put out any singles or tease any album or a tease A album for this year. As the last time he dropped the album was in 2020 with whole lot of red.
Starting point is 00:01:00 and I know you made me think of 2020 is a long time from 2023, but technically it's been more like two years because a whole lot of red came out December 25th, 2020. So I'm not trying to say like, oh, it's been three years because technically, technically it has been three years and I just can't count. But on the flip side, right, you know, once I learn how to count, we get into the fact that when you look at Playboy Cardi,
Starting point is 00:01:31 no, that was wild. swear i thought that there was two years but hey it's three years so uh yeah there's that but anyways um whole lot of red was pretty fire in my opinion my favorite track off of that was sky i think it's one of those type of albums where people are going to gravitate towards different tracks because it's not really your typical hip-hop project and i don't say that in a bad way the way that the way playboy Cardi makes music is in certain fashion experimental realms that is cool, quote unquote. So when I look at it, I just try to see where he's coming from. I see where his fan base gravitates towards because if you don't know, I'm not the biggest
Starting point is 00:02:16 Playboy Cardi fan. I just listen to the music to try to not be out the loop. But speaking of not being out the loop, Playboy Cardi is obviously in the loop as his experimental sounds have led others to experiment with their sounds via a little uzi or a yachti. Basically, Playward Cardi's influence is on a whole nother level that I was, that I once just did not know existed. I did not know his influence was on this type of level, right? So anyways, the track is not available yet on streaming services, which the track I'm specifically
Starting point is 00:02:53 doing the segment over is different day. And if you don't know, different day is technically the same track as you're the moon. On SoundCloud, they put it out as you're the moon slash different day. Why? I have no idea. I mean, people do different titles for tracks all the time. But I think for, forget the actual word, but for research purposes and for, oh, for algorithm purposes, I think they should go at one. title for a track i think it gets kind of confusing when you have two but hey whatever so
Starting point is 00:03:31 your other moon slash different day is now out on platforms like sound cloud like the streaming services that are not a spotify alpha music uh amazon is out on those so i would probably go to soundcloud in all honesty but like i said three year wait well coming on the three year wait and now with this being so similar to the whole lot of red rollout it kind of leads you to believe that it could end up coming out at the same day as whole lot of red did with uh december 25th being the market or being the target date i don't know what the 25th falls on for this year that falls on a monday so definitely not this year uh 29th maybe i just think that's too close to New Year's.
Starting point is 00:04:23 So 25th is obviously out of the equation. I can see February, that's actually was rumored for it to come out in February.
Starting point is 00:04:33 But I do believe that it should come out earlier than that because I don't see him waiting that long after announcing his album because when a mysterious artist is rolling out
Starting point is 00:04:43 his album, best believe me, it's not going to last that long. They're going to roll out their album, drop it, and then go back
Starting point is 00:04:51 into the mysterious ways and not talking to anybody, you know, just acting like they don't even exist. So do something else I want to get into. Oh, for real, is potentially involved in the project. And Cardi recorded his album in Paris, emphasizing a diverse musical influence from glass houses in different locations. I don't know why you need to know that, but for the Playboy Cardi Dowhard fans out there, now you know, different day is the first offer. for the album, of course, endorsed by artists like The Weekend and Travis Scott,
Starting point is 00:05:29 so they came out and talked about this and big did it up, I guess, and that's basically it. Because I wanted to get into the overview information of the track, because with me and I being the biggest Playboy Cardi fan, I can only go so much off of my own recollection. So it's like at this point, his fans have hyped up Playboy Cardi to such a degree that I expect a monumental rollout
Starting point is 00:05:59 and release and impact when this album eventually hits our DSPs so with that being said click my link to you my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about Playboy Cardi putting out his track you're the moon slash different day on SoundCloud services and do you think it's fire or trash?
