Starting point is 00:00:04 No, Cardi. God damn. You dig a dog. Ladies and gentlemen, what is like to be a Playboy Cardi fan? Now, of course, y'all know that I've covered Playboy Cardi in the past. And of course, when it comes to Cardi, you know, his album, you know, I went to sleep. You know, I had a good nap. You know, I'm glad you asked.
Starting point is 00:00:46 You know what I'm saying? With the bed, feel me got my hours in? You know what I'm saying? Went to sleep. Got my good rest. You know what I mean? Got into the rim system fully. You feel me?
Starting point is 00:00:58 And then woke up. And I went to DSPs, more specifically Spotify. And the album still wasn't out. You know what? That's just at some point. But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on?
Starting point is 00:01:13 And at some point, sometimes when I talk about Playboy Cardi, as far as when I did back in October 4th, September 27th, September 13th, right when I was telling you all about him putting out music through other musicians, and not really standing on his own, I believe that not only this track list, which we're about to get into, because best believe, all I need is the tracklist,
Starting point is 00:01:34 the tracklist, buddy. That's all I need. So we're going to break this down like a kilo of Miley Cyrus. So that being said, when it comes to play with Cardi, obviously he just completely lie to y'all faces. He's really treating y'all like every player
Starting point is 00:01:47 treats his side shake. You completely manipulate till you can't know more, and at that point, you just go ghost. You just stop communicating. katin you know what i'm saying and with that being said kaisenna obviously had enough as you just heard his reaction right here i mean he literally said he was tired i mean i think this is at what two three eight this is three forty one a m goodness every time i watch that that's hilarious anyways
Starting point is 00:02:18 kison has to go but with that being said playbick cardi latest offering when it came to music was blick something with uh featuring well no no he was on the blick something remix with Lotto, right? Because Lotto's song, blick some, her remix, she went with Playboy Cardi. So that was his last musical offering.
Starting point is 00:02:39 Now, of course, I point out time and time again because Playboy Cardi fans think I'd just be hating. I just try to keep it eight more than 92 and let you do of that information, which you will, right? Playboy Cardi's most successful track
Starting point is 00:02:52 on the charts is timeless, which is, what's been on the charts for about 23 weeks, right? And it's the 19th most played track in the world. But then you come over to albums, right? This man doesn't have any albums charting in the top 50s. Now, granted, this album, I Am Music, should sell a lot.
Starting point is 00:03:12 But I think when it comes to the anticipation and when it comes to the ultimate manipulation of his fan base, it just cannot be forgiven. The amount of lies that he has given to his fan base is undisputed. Undisputedly, I don't think that's a word. Undisputable is very obvious. Blighton just straight up highlighted the fact that this man treats his fans like a side chick. You know, if Iggy didn't tell y'all enough of what this man puts her through, he's doing the same thing to y'all. So anyways, what that means said?
Starting point is 00:03:55 Playboy Cardi's first week sales, obviously Playboy Cardi, the self-titled album did 28,000 units first week. I lit did 61,000 units first week. Whole lot of red did 100,000 units first week. Now, why am I saying all that? Because I believe I in music should end up being his biggest first week sales in his career. Now, people are saying 3 to 400 range as far as first week. I think they are completely just ignorant to the landscape of music. Music is not selling like it used to be.
Starting point is 00:04:27 So with that being said, I think it's going to take a step back. but I do believe he's going to sell over 100,000. So I'm predicting that he will sell around 180 to 200,000 first week. Now, of course, when it comes to Playboy Cardi fans, they probably don't want to hear that. But Drake, who is the go of hip-hop, right? I don't care what, what y'all say? Objectively speaking, he's still the most streamed rapper in the world. How does that work?
Starting point is 00:04:54 I know people are going to say, oh, but Kendrick has the most popular album. Well, Drake, as far as his discography, out streams Kendrick and out streams everybody except for like T Swift and stuff so anyways uh essentially what I was wanting to talk about is that some sexy songs for you ended up doing 246,000 first week now I hope you know that Drake is currently suing his major label so if the goad of hip hop at the antithesis of the battle when you're talking about capitalizing with a project and that only sells well I'm not going to say only it's definitely a lot but as far as for Drake It's definitely on the lower side in his career.
Starting point is 00:05:32 That sold $246,000 first week. I promise you, I do not believe this album is going to sell more than that. Now, I'm open to be wrong. Obviously, it's objective, so I'll be able to see if I'm wrong or not. But as far as $246,000, I don't think I Am music will come anywhere close to that. So that is my prediction as far as the first week sales, because that's really all we can go off of. I mean, we have the track list is 30 tracks. I mean, goodness, 30 tracks, that man's definitely trying to have a big.
Starting point is 00:06:00 big splash as far as first week sales and on the charts. So this is very interesting because some sexy songs for you at the end of the day selling this amount and then unequivocally doing some of the biggest numbers and hip hop as far as an album definitely tells us that other releases probably will not live up to a two 40 to 250,000 first week sales metric unless you're Travis or Kendrick. like he did with GNX right i want to get the actual say some sexy songs for you let's see all right so the actual number i want to get the actual number just to make sure yeah okay so 200 let me see why is why is it sometimes you just got put the dollar sign in which is like super
Starting point is 00:06:53 weird i ain't gonna lie to you nobody's trying to do all that so anyways i'm just going to say 246 to 249 000 first week so when it comes to playbucardi he's definitely not selling that much and that's basically why I pointed that out because if you really think about it the biggest debuts as far as first week sales was the weekend with hurry up tomorrow which sold a whopping 490,000 um units first week right and then you had drake and p and d selling 246,000 with their album some sexy songs for you right and then little baby sold 140,000 first week as far as for Wham. So really, technically, I'm still putting respect on Playboy Cardi's name because I do believe
Starting point is 00:07:41 he's going to do more than 140. I don't think he's near the stratosphere of Drake in the weekend. So that is why I'm saying that it's going to be below 246, but definitely above 140. I predict 180 to 200 first week sales for Playboy Cardi. I'm open to being wrong. I know Kendrick's on this album. so that also mean Kendrick's marketing team is on this album. And if you haven't heard my latest snippet, definitely follow me on my social media because
Starting point is 00:08:10 those clips are going crazy right now. But in general, I basically talked about how, well, I asked the question on if Kendrick's marketing team is the best in the music industry currently because they have dethrone party next door and drinks some sexy songs for you. But not only that, they still, even a week after dethrone and they're not. that album they still have the number one album in the world which is very impressive because i believe this album came out what last year so when it comes to gnx actually let's see what when gnx came out the reason why i'm giving you all these metrics because i want to compare or put it in a reasonable
Starting point is 00:08:52 fashion as far as why i think this album is definitely not going to sell three to four hundred thousand first week like that number is just insane so anyways genx had 12 songs four 44 minutes, right? And that came out November 22nd, 2024. It's March 14th, 2025, and that album is still the number one album in the world. And not like still, like it stayed there. Like it left and came back. But still, it's still a huge accomplishment even after all this time. So when Playboy Cardi is putting out this album and then we see the track list having over 20 plus tracks, right? 30 tracks for a project is just insane. Like there's just no way that they went. And then we see the track list having over 20 plus tracks, right? 30 tracks for a project is just insane. Like there's just no way that they went. And went into this with like a quality driven mindset putting 30 tracks on here like that's very insane even for an artist like the weekend or drake like even when people listen to a chris brown album and it has like a hundred million songs on it people have to listen to his album like people watch tv shows right we got to do it in sessions we can't just do it all at once so his last album as far as playboy card it came out 2020 and more specifically
Starting point is 00:10:04 more specifically whole lot of red came out uh december 25th 2020 but then you know what i'm saying so the reason i'm even saying this is because playbucardi has so much anticipation built up for this album to the point where the track list is doing numbers because the album's out not out i mean we don't have the music we just got the tracklist and go off of so guess what guess what i'm gonna do all i needed was trackless buddy we're gonna go over the kendrick feature which i told you all before this came out that it was on there um Travis scott's on here multiple times futures on here uh the weekend of course is on here i mean it would not make any sense than i have the weekend on here he literally gave you your most your most successful song since
Starting point is 00:10:57 i'm not gonna say since 2020 because of course uh fiend Bean was pretty popular and then of course you got Carnival it's all with other artists right Kanye Travis Scott is never like on his own that's why I'm interested to see what ends up becoming popular because I would put money on it that is probably going to be one of these big names attached to it
Starting point is 00:11:18 I think Playboy Cardi by himself is the epitome of what ASEF Rocky could have been as far as him and his lifestyle being more coveted But as far as musically, I don't think he offers enough to garner this type of attention. Now, obviously, y'all can say I'm hating. But throughout the test of time, this man has put out some, I'm not going to say garbage, because I did like a whole lot of red, honestly. But as far as people acting like this man is the second coming to Michael Jackson,
Starting point is 00:11:47 where he could just lie to his fan base left and right. And he's one of the top tier Mount Rushmore newer artists. like that just does not make any sense to me. It reminds me of Jermaine as far as just the fabrication of the status in the hip-hop game. If Playboy Cardi never put out on music, the hip-hop game would be completely fine. We got Drake. We got Kendrick. We even have Jermaine, I guess.
Starting point is 00:12:14 We have Big Sean, right? I know saying Big Sean is not going to help my case because people are like, Big Sean. But yeah, I'm going to say, right? Like Tyler the Creator, we have so many other very talented artists that could actually move the genre forward and i don't think play ricardi does what his fan base uh what his fan base thinks he does because they end up acting like this whenever he doesn't put out his album oh carty goddain who the fuck you know that's i go lie to you y'all deserve this because y'all be hyping up these type of artists who lied to you 24-7 and wonder why you end up in toxic relationships you know
Starting point is 00:13:07 what at some point somebody got point this out and it's almost like i did all the way back in october that this man was just trying to piggyback off of superstars in the industry as far as the weekend as far as connier as far as Travis scott and now he has to stand on his own and where has that led him right back to making music because of course he's not putting it out right so he's just going to keep telling you all he's making music and he's trying to clear samples but at the end of the day the album as of six a m actually let's go to let's go a lot of I'm on, I'm on this profile right now. As of 6 a.m.,
Starting point is 00:13:42 IAM music is still not out on DSPs. And he told y'all, what, 12 a.m. PST? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Hey, what do he say? So that being said, click my link to you in my bio. Let me know in one of my social medias. What do you think about I.M.
Starting point is 00:13:58 Music completely missing the release date. And to the point where he gave live updates and still didn't put it out. And what is your biggest takeaway from Playboy Cardi, putting on a master class on how to manipulate a fan base.
