Starting point is 00:00:03 Now, I just want to preface this by saying that I told you, right? I told you so. And, you know, at some point, people come around and realize that you consistently speak facts. And so it's hard to debate you, right? And in that instance, you know, I say, you're welcome. As I kept trying to tell y'all that Playboy Cardi did not want to compete with the big, dogs when it came to DSP releases now why am I saying that because oh sorry for that but why am I saying that is because this man made a copy cut a copycat song of future only to put up numbers
Starting point is 00:00:51 as far as it being in the top 15 right a debut number 15 but nowadays numbers can be manipulated in that we've never seen and one of the things I wanted to say I wanted to have to to back up that step was the fact that an actual pivotal player in hip-hop Travis Scott days before the rodeo album which you know of course it's like a 10-year-old album but it made it to number one because of course he's a black H-and-m meaning he's selling socks shirts hoodies and is getting counted as a unit cell right which if you can do it I mean teach his own because technically those are way more expensive when it could versus buying a single album right but since Travis Scott already has that
Starting point is 00:01:43 cashé in the fashion industry he can do stuff like that and get away with it so the reason why I say he's the black H&M is because he sells clothing to package his music with it and it gets counted right but when that happens then you have stuff like this happen where Travis Scott's days before the roadie becomes the first album ever like in history of all time music being put out this is the first time this has ever happened first time in album history no just in history sorry my fault to depart from the billboard 200 from the number one spot and entirely i forgot that last word so days before the rodeo became the first album in history right of all time ever to depart from the billboard 200 from the number one spot so that means it went from the number one spot to
Starting point is 00:02:41 entirely missing the billboard 200 how in the world does that happen y'all let me know maybe just maybe like i kept saying is because he's the black achynell this man selling socks shirts hoodies and when those run out the music sells run out i'm not saying that he doesn't have a fan base because obviously that would be an asinon statement, especially referring to Travis Scott. But that is why I say that DSPs matter because they are the limit scale as far as music consumption amongst your competitors in the field.
Starting point is 00:03:21 So you can manipulate numbers all you want, but at some point, the real number is going to come to light, which is why on a much smaller scale, I have to revert back to play Ricardy's all red track because ladies and gentlemen let me tell you some it is nowhere to be found in the top of 100 now when I first reported on this track
Starting point is 00:03:46 it was right behind the week in his album which I thought was a little peculiar you know they're both from the same major label so you know very interesting when it comes to that front but as far as it having such a high debut but it was under the week's track that he just put out um dancing in the flames right it was right under
Starting point is 00:04:12 that one and the projections for october fifth so of course you know it's what coming up on it you know what i mean like these projections not too far off right dancing in the flames is at 21 and all red is nowhere to be found i'm looking because when they first debuted that's what it debuted under as far as dancing in the flames was 14 All red was 15 So now when I go back I'm like oh it should be somewhere close to that right It completely dropped off out of the top 100
Starting point is 00:04:44 Now That could mean anything But with me being petty It probably means exactly what I was saying This man's drop off is significantly Driven by the fact that He is not as dominant by himself versus him attaching his name to a bigger artist in the game,
Starting point is 00:05:09 whether it's a Kanye, whether it's the weekend. He is becoming the rich the kid light as far as his position in music. Seemingly, the way that he networks is the only way that he can make any type of, the only way he can make any type of splash as far as the top 10 because obviously by himself I mean if all red doesn't do it with you taking a four year hiatus as far as like solo music because if you don't remember it I mean last time he released singles and the album was back in 2020 so four years later this man tries to put out a single by himself it debuts at number 15 looking like is going strong and it completely drops out of the top of 100 and I'm like goodness I mean
Starting point is 00:05:59 at that point, at that point, maybe, just maybe your fan base wasn't as big when it comes to the music consumption that all your fans was trying to tell me was a complete opposite, right? Because from a totality standpoint, obviously he has fans and he has a fan base when it comes to him as a person. But musically, DSP-wise, is totally different as far as people going out to support a specific thing. Maybe people love you for fashion for the way you make them feel as far as like lifestyle and things of that nature. Like maybe streaming is a lane for you to go into because as far as music, specifically for all red, seems like they came for the resurgence of Playbury Cardi only to not support it the week after.
Starting point is 00:06:51 And that, my friend, is unacceptable. So that being said, click my link to you in my bio. Let me know on one of my social media is. What do you think about Playboy Carty? single completely dropping out of the top 100 after debuting at 15 and what is your biggest takeaway from play bricardy's playwright's um status in the music industry
