Now, say it ain't so, just when I thought that corporate greed cannot get any worse, Sony had to one-up themselves as the price to quote my man, Fat Joe.
Yesterday's price is not today's price. Now, what do I mean by that? Right? PlayStation took it upon them.
ourselves to increase all of the tears for the PlayStation subscription starting September
6, 20, 23.
Now, I know what you're saying.
Now, dreams, you know good and well that it is way past September 6th, because by the time
you hear this, it's either going to be September 6th or the day after at the very, at the
very least, at the earliest, if I might add.
So y'all gonna be like,
dang, you can then give me some type of warning
before Sony just increased all the prices
for every single tier of the PlayStation Plus subscription.
But let me tell you something.
Don't blame me.
Blame PlayStation, because this is the first time,
the first and the only time where I can say
that you've got to hate the game, not the player,
because this is ridiculous.
This is ridiculous.
PlayStation is out here running a month,
with these new price increases as the PlayStation Plus essential 12-month subscription
would now be $80 a year so that's the 12 month right the PS plus extra 12-month
subscription will rise to $135 a year and the PS plus premium this is for the big
ballers out there 12-month subscription will be $160 a year
year now of course Sony came out and it was like you know what the reason why we
raising these prices because we can we continuously i don't even know if that's a word i think so
give y'all high quality video games for y'all enjoyment and to uh supply your your escapism
and your needs for entertainment right none of y'all playing xbox we didn't look at the numbers
you know ain't none of y'all buying that Xbox series X
so y'all ain't going to leave
so we might as well just raise the prices
and I was like
well ain't that a shame
because
Spotify's doing the same thing
increasing their monthly subscription
PlayStation doing the same thing
increasing their monthly subscription
even Xbox
I don't even know how Stephen A says it
but I think it's the gall
I think that's how he says it
the gall of them I don't even know if that's how you use it
I don't know I feel like throwing that
out to think that they could raise their subscription after one successful exclusive game
in Starfield, which we are going to get to that game.
But like, let us not forget about Redfall and how that fell from grace expeditiously.
Let us not talk about all these different publishers that now all of a sudden can't
make a good game because they already got the bag for Microsoft to be exclusive.
So now they're putting out trash.
and the first time they get a hit in Starfield,
they want to raise their subscription for their game pass
and they want to take away gold,
it's really insane out here.
It's kind of insane.
You would think we wasn't in a recession.
Who would have thunk that during the recession
all the biggest companies in the world
would raise their monthly subscriptions?
Now let that sink in.
All right.
So at the end of day,
shame on PlayStation.
I know a lot of people
talking about boycotting PlayStation
but let's be honest
how's that going to happen
y'all know 2K's coming out
I know most of y'all try to ball with the homies
y'all know call of duty is going to come out
with some other game every other six months
and y'all trying to shoot it out with the homies
FIFA and 2K
I can't I can't
I can't run from people
talking about how
they're the best of this game they're the best of that game
showing me the online my player stats i'm like who like come on now and the reason why i started with
2k and all the sports games is because that's the biggest uh base when it comes to general consumers
so they're just gonna look at this price hike and they're gonna be they're just gonna say to themselves
well i'm trying to shoot it out with the homies and i'm trying to ball with the homies but i can't
do that without that multiplayer playstation plus subscription so i just got to end it with
Shame on you PlayStation.
Shame on you.
So anyways, click my link to you in my bio.
Let me know in one of my social medias.
Also, if you've looked at the video version of the podcast, just know I have that up for a reason.
September monthly games.
That is what you're getting for the price height.
St. Roe for the PS5 and PS4, Black Desert and Generation Zero.
And that's for subscribing to PlayStation Plus.
That's the free games you get.
Yeah, man.
times when man sad times anyways click my link tree in my bio let me know one of my social
media's what do you think about PlayStation and uh basically what do you think about Sony
increasing prices for all tiers when it comes to PlayStation plus subscription
and do you care and if so are you willing to boycott Sony
