Now, of course, coming off of the Xbox game showcase coverage, we have the PlayStation
June state of the play that of course happened two days before the Xbox game
showcase.
So the reason why I wanted to cover the Xbox game showcase first is because I believe
that was the superior showcase.
And no, that is not me engaging in console war.
I'm just stating as a fact.
The Xbox Game Pass is one of the most.
affordable options for gamers out there, especially if you like a bunch of games.
Now, of course, this is not no Xbox propaganda.
It's just me letting you know where you can get the most stretch for your dollar or bang for
your buck as far as the more commonly known term.
So anyways, getting into PlayStation's June State of the Play, do know that this was a 40-minute
live stream on YouTube and Twitch.
But with that being considered, of course, we're going to consolidate it down into the most
important parts in the essential games that was revealed because a lot of people is looking forward
to this and safe to say i think they delivered right i mean setting aside the marvel token
video game which you know shameless plug if you type in marvel analytic dreams with a z my coverage
of that specifically will pop up where i dive deeper into it but essentially that was showcased a
four v4 team based fighting game by arc system works and playstation studios of course
and it has all your Marvel superheroes that you could imagine, like as far as Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, even Dr. Doom is playable because Marvel rivals still haven't given this Dr. Doom. He's like the main villain.
So I don't know what they're going to do that. But at some point, Dr. Doom needs to be playable in Marvel rivals.
But as of right now, Marvel token is set to be released 2026, which is going to be going back to my point that I've been repeating for quite some time.
GtA6 is going to be a black hole for the game and community.
No, I'm not talking about me and myself because I play a lot of different games.
But as far as the masses is considered, if y'all look at the charts, right,
it's a lot of ball and gun games.
What do I mean by that?
2K, call of duty, soccer, MLB, the show, Forza.
Well, does Forza have a ball or gun?
I don't think so.
But you get the point, right?
Sports games and a gun, which is why the term ball and gun, you get the point.
So anyways, when GTA comes out, which is also on this list, as far as top 10 games on PlayStation,
it's currently the ninth most play game on PlayStation that usually fluctuates in the top 10 consistently.
When that game comes out as far as GTA6, no other game is going to get even an inkling of attention.
When it comes to a GTA6, when that game reveals itself to the public, when it releases to the masses,
I would be hard pressed to find any publication talking about any other game.
Now, of course, I'm going to talk about other games once again.
But as far as the masses, GTA6 is going to be a black hole in 2026 when it eventually releases May of 226.
I forget the actual day.
Yeah, okay, May 26 of 2026.
So with that being said, if your game doesn't come out in January, February, which is early 2026,
it will end up being crushed by the popularity of GTS6 now with that said to the side let's get into the overall point that i was making with marvel token so this game's coming out in 2026 you know tag team fighting mechanics uh there's a lot of things is going to the overall layering of the game to make it seem like a phenomenal game when it launches it seems like it's going to be a complete game when it launches but then something crossed my screen
This game's not coming to Xbox.
What in the world are we doing as a gaming community that now we have a whole fighting game with Marvel characters exclusively for one platform?
Sad day in history, as when you look at it, I do believe Marvel token, as far as the Fighting Souls game being considered, should be playable across all platforms.
Fighting games are to be enjoyed with other people.
I don't think people really dive into fighting games
would be like, oh, I'm just going to fight the CPU
time and time again.
Like people like fighting other players.
And of course you could do that on one platform
that's the PS5, but also when it comes to Xbox,
because it's only coming to PS5 and PC.
So half of the player base on PlayStation's already cut off.
Now you cut off Xbox as well.
It's very interesting as far as the console war going on.
And it seems to be only PlayStation making these
phenomenal games exclusively for them.
So I think it just hurts the consumers in the long run,
which is why I started with that as far as it being revealed.
Now, that is why I say the Xbox game showcase was a lot more enjoyable showcase
because I feel like that's the more pro-consumer company currently.
And I'm saying the more pro-consumer.
I'm not saying that all the way pro-consumer.
But with the Xbox Game Pass,
they're definitely making an argument for having the greatest package
and affordability in the gaming industry.
So anyways, other games that was announced
at the PlayStation live event
was also Ghost of Yote.
Now, if you don't know, this is a sequel
to Ghost of Tashima by Sucker Punch
and essentially, when it comes to this game,
it's planned for July.
No, no, no, the game playing DeepDive
is playing for July,
but the official release is set for October 2nd
of this year.
So that is one of the games that I'm definitely looking forward to.
I'm definitely playing that day one because when it comes to games specifically on GamePas,
you could get in a subscription.
But there are those games out there that you're going to have to pay the full price
when it initially comes out.
Now, there was something else that was showcased at the state of the play that was
intriguing at first because I thought it was a Splinter Cell game.
And lo and behold, it was not.
It was the OG James Bond.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, James Bond.
has its own video game developed by i.O. Interactive, which is titled, 007, First Light,
which has stealth driving gadgets in the co-stars Lenny James, and it's set to be released,
2026. Now, of course, gameplay reveals expected in the summer of 2025, but as you already know,
we are definitely in the summer. So I think it's coming in the foreseeable future as far as the deep dive
to gameplay because when it comes to the 007 game, I believe I saw gameplay in it,
but of course, I don't think they deep-dobbed into it at all.
So with that being said, with that being said, Final Fantasy Tactics was another game
that was announced for the state of the play as when it comes to the invalance, no, the
Evalis, Evalus, Tomato Chronicles, it's a remake slash remaster of the 1997 Colt Classic game,
right?
And so now there's two versions.
It's a classic 1997 graphics were auto saving in the enhanced with voice dialogue,
updated UI, and new difficulty.
So this is set to be released September 30th of this year.
And pre-orders are already available for those Final Fantasy fans out there because
Laura knows that when it comes to Final Fantasy 7 remake part two, a lot of people were
not feeling that.
They kind of was getting into the game, loving the story in the family.
first three hours and then they realized this is the same exact game as part one why not just
package it and put it out all at the same time only only PlayStation knows why they're doing that
because i have no idea why they're out here making part one part two part three if they're going
to play the exact same i mean at least add something innovative in the gameplay mechanics but anyways
um you know that's aside from the fact that the open world was just a snooze fest but anyways
let's keep back into it so when it's
comes to pre-orders is already available and of course it's also coming to
PS4 ladies and gentlemen PS4 came out in 2013 I want to let you know some it's
been 12 years since 2013 and people still won't upgrade and they wonder why
graphics and other advancements in the video game realm as far as graphics
and as far as gameplay mechanics is us not stack they didn't stagnate but it's
slower because I think this is the biggest
gap we've ever seen what people are just hard pressed on playing a retro console because at this
point 10 plus years it's been a decade long since um ps4 came out now in 2025 we're basically
showcasing how people do not want to upgrade at all which is very unfortunate because now gaming is
going to suffer because of it but you know to the people who can't afford it you know obviously
that's a whole other matter but for the people who can afford a pf and still argue that gaming is
stagnated or is stalled off, which it definitely has it.
I mean, we're in every other entertainment lane going crazy.
Movies, TV shows, you name it, right?
Video games is one of the more popular entertainment facets in society right now.
So anyways, which goes back to my point.
I, for the life of me, I can't understand why people don't upgrade from a PS5.
I mean, 12 years.
I mean, you get to save up a couple every month and make it.
in 12 years but you know hey that's you know you never know people's pockets so with that being
said then we had silent hill a horror game set in 1960s japan now i do like going to japan but i do not
like horror games well by myself you know of course i played uh phasemophobia with the guy little uci
uh with my guy little uci and then of course i played um there's another game i played oh repo
repo repo was phenomenal if i haven't checked out my repo gameplay with loo uci as well uh let's just say
we had a lot of golden clips that went viral on social media and um yeah it was because of my um my
ignorance let's just put it like that so anyways uh bloodstained the scarlet oh what i said okay so yeah so
silent heel is set to be released september 25 20 25 and pre-orders start what pre-orders have
already started and of course uh when it comes to the game you know the horror setting
all you need to know is that the protagonist is the school girl hanako versus me
mannequin like monsters.
If that don't sound scary, I don't know what it does.
So then we have Mortal Kombat, the Legacy Collection.
And isn't it funny?
It popped up on the screen as I was talking about it.
Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio.
But essentially, they saw the lifespan of MK1 get cut short.
They realized that a lot of people was out here basically saying it was an undercut game.
And by a lot of people, I mean me.
I mean, when you see.
how street fighter how teching came out you come to realize nether realm really gave us an
undercooked game with mk1 everything was working in his favor as far as aesthetically being pleasing
as far as the gameplay foundation being solid it was just bare bones to the point where they didn't
even have uh online tournament mode as far as being able to specifically play with people in your lobby
right they only had a king of the heel at the launch of the game and let's just say if you wanted to
fight somebody and after that game you wanted to let two other people fight or you wanted to fight
somebody that was lower down the list you couldn't do that at all because that's all they had was
king of the hill lobbies instead of actual um custom lobbies for people to fight anybody in so anyways
it was very bare bones techin street fighter had that and more i mean techin had it to the point
where you could go into film you study and film
then you realize mid-match, you could jump into it and fight for a different outcome.
So it's insane.
That level of intricacy, Tekken and Street Fighter had opposed to mortar combat.
But just showcases once again how gaming is becoming more intuitive as far as showcasing why you need to develop your game in a way that is impressive to the public.
because multiverses came out and then Marvel rivals came out.
If multiverses came out after Marvel rivals,
you know how bad it would have been getting cooked
as far as people understanding that they gave us a bare bones video game.
I don't want to hear, oh, it was just enclosed beta or it was in beta or whatever.
Because when they eventually came out,
it still didn't have a lot of modes.
It still didn't have a lot of content for us to engage with it.
And a lot of the settings to go in and look at different.
different damage output and things in the nature that Marvel rivals to this day is still being exceptional on as far as having a whole website dedicated to damage output and
different keyframes for certain characters right so that's what I'll compare more to combat to as far as street fighter and tech and they're definitely the motaversus of the fighting game community a great concept aesthetically pleasing but when you compare it to a real fighting game that's already layered upon layers as far as making it intuitive for the gamer
You come to realize that mortar combat is essentially the motov versus two Tekken and street fighters, more of a rivals.
So anyways, hopefully y'all like that analogy.
With that being said, then we had as N-I-O-H is that that that can't be Noah because that's not how it works.
Nio, Neo, I think it's Neo.
Okay, Neo.
I was like, hold on now.
The H for slowing me off, but I'm pretty sure it's just Neo.
So Neo 3, Dark Fantasy Souls Like by Team Ninja.
Team Ninja is going crazy because I believe they had something else as far as, maybe it's for Xbox.
They had a game for Xbox as they showcased.
Maybe this is, I don't think this is the same one.
But anyways, Neo3 is a Dark Fantasy Soul-like developed by Team Ninja in the features open world fields, ninja combat styles.
Demo is available now.
So if you wanted to play Neo3 on PlayStation, you can play it as we speak.
Only on PlayStation.
Sorry for the retro gamers out there.
but you know it's only available on ps5 um the actual game is set to release early 2026 and with that being
said of course i could get into a lot of other games whether it's nidgen guiding whether it's
metal gear solid because of course when it comes to me being a huge splinter cell fan i mean uh
as far as sam fisher just being completely disrespect in the video game space i just don't
understand why it keeps happening like ubysoft looks at sam fisher they're like guess what not today
but not today.
We're not going to put any respect on your IP or your name
because we haven't received the Splinter Cell
any type of news for Splinter Cell.
I think something came out about like a video game
developments for a new video game for Splinter Cell
and people just came out and said that was fake news.
Like at this point, they're just playing with us.
So it's nice to have Metal Gear solid snake.
As with that being said,
that game is coming on August 28th.
And of course, with that being in mind, do know that Metal Gear Solid is way different
than Splinter Cell.
But essentially, if you do like stealth games, I believe you would enjoy Metal Gear Solid
Delta Snake Eater.
That comes out, of course, August 28th.
Then we have Astrobat Update, five new challenge levels plus limited edition controller
for those who are Astrobot His and Astrobat Fanatics.
that's coming July 2025
Digimon what in the world
That's a throwback for real
I remember watching Digimine
That's gonna make me sound old
I swear I'm 25 going on 80
Digimon story time stranger
That's getting a release
Made by psychedelic anime RPG
No that's not a development studio
That's just how they described it
Let me see the actual
Development Studio
So
We have
Digimon
Digimon did you do monsters
Who was watching that
y'all wasn't watching that y'all wasn't on that type of time i development
that's gonna make me a nerd for real i ain't gonna lie to you all right to you
all right so digimon store uh time stranger is uh who is it developed by partners
patamon what is that okay uh who's developing developed by media vision okay so media
vision is developing this game and of course it's published by bandad namco so that's nice
as far as having some um legacy publishers back in your game so digimon if you're a
fan of a tv show like of course no i am um that's coming out october 3rd 2025 then we have
calm or is that came hey yo you guys see that's the problem i think a c a i m let me make sure
oh that's zoomed in all the way goodness all right so what was that at
can't see it is k a i and i can't tell the last word it's karn i think it's karn i kid you not i
think it's karn um let me see karn video game so okay it is karn okay i was like what
hey yo what type of kane what's game is this all right so uh karn is an upcoming rock climbing
simulation game what in the okay we skipping that who wants to i ain't going to lie to each
zone but if you play in a rock climber video i guess you know platform and they will say you know
technically it's climbing rocks right at certain points in the game not all of it but rock climbing
simulator specifically that's going up there with the power watch simulator people i know friends
who play that game and they swear by it they say it's so enjoyable you just got to play it literally
it's a power washing simulator like i want to get the actual name power washing
maybe that's what it's called in the way that's what's called that's why i'm
Let me talk about just no creativity for the name.
Yeah, it's literally called pile wash simulator.
They say it's the most soothing thing known to man.
So they swear about this video game,
but I just don't understand the realism and video games being so exciting.
Usually, for me, anyways, video games is like escape.
It's like getting into a good book, a good TV show, a good movie.
You get lost in the world, and now the world is your playground.
Well, their specific world that they laid out is your playground, right?
So, especially for people who have like traditional jobs and are going from a nine to five
and just to get off and play power wash simulator or to play a rock climate simulator to
hey, you know, teach your zone.
If you're a gamer, you know, I can't knock how you get that gaming title.
So shout out to people who like realism, video games that you do, you know, pointless activities
in.
But anyways, that being said, hardware announcement, you had the project defiant fight stick.
So they wanted to give you a stick to be.
fighting with you guys see that's the problem and then when it comes to sony's first wireless fight stick
controller for ps5 pc it features ultra low latency PlayStation link and wire mode durable design sling can
carry oh no a sling carry case and then it's set to be released sometime soon it's tbd but it does say
2025 so uh for people who like fighting game or no fighting sticks can you know shout out to y'all i don't
like i've never liked the little fighting
rectangle box you know the fight sticks whatever y'all call it I just can't get with it like
the only time I ever sat down and learned different moves on a fighting stick type thing was when I
play more of combat like to this day I know like three to four moves with sub zero and oh shameless
plug my dream con vlog me and little uchi was playing more to combat and I pulled out some super moves
from sub zero because I knew how to do it because of my time practicing and of I definitely
sound super nerdy right now but y'all get the point right
um can y'all tell i cover games for a living so anyways um i've never been a fighting stick type person so uh you know
shout out to people who have those little rectangle boxes and they prefer that over the controller
but i prefer the controller but you know so he's just on so then we have um all right that's basically it
okay so they showcase the fighting stick uh what else additional oh okay so a lot of people's wanting to
see but no that would have been for xbox
because Gairs of War is exclusively for Xbox.
So they was talking about God of,
oh, God of War, I'm tripping.
So people was wondering
if we is going to get a God of War spinoff.
I don't know why that would be the case.
If y'all know anything about the discourse,
about when Ragnar came out,
it was why are we playing so much as Atreus?
So the spinoff game wouldn't make any sense.
In Credo's own game,
we was complaining about playing as Atreus.
I didn't mind.
it because it progressed the story some parts of atreus like with the girl in the forest when
they were just riding around having to look at our graphics moment that wasn't the greatest in
the game and really stagnated the overall story uh but having a spinoff game with atreas i don't
think would work at all you have to make him like the you have to make him like the most
uninteresting person in the story because people aren't already people are interested in crados right
forcing us to play as atreas you better have some other creos
crados like figure like Thor or something that's tagging alongside him that you could play as but as far as
Atreya specifically I don't think he could carry his own game so um with that being said that's basically it
so that's the PlayStation but that's the state of the play um as far as it being compared to the Xbox game
showcase you just know that this was a 40-minute live stream um Xbox showcase you know to
to get on my rappers tip pause you you guys basically
Xbox game showcase was digital, right?
So it was fully digital pre-recorded.
PlayStation's state of play, I believe, was live, like, actually live.
There was nothing pre-recorded.
So, and I watched both of them.
But, you know, Summer's Game Fest was definitely live.
I don't think State of Play, was State of Play?
Maybe I'm getting State of Play mixed up with Summer Games Fest.
But it was part of Summer Games Fest, I believe.
I forget.
I think I already cover
Summer Games first.
I don't know why I'm getting those mixed up.
But just now I'm only covering the
summer,
well,
I'm only covering the Xbox showcase
and the PlayStation showcase
because there's really nothing
in the summer game showcases
that they didn't show
on the PlayStation or Xbox.
So with that being said,
click my link to you in my bio,
let me know one of my social medias.
What do you think about
the PlayStation State of the Play for June?
And at the end of the day,
which showcase do you think came out on top?
PlayStation or
Xbox
